Who are your favourite directors of all time?
My favourite's are
Third Favourite: Zack Snyder. He has extremely stylistic movies, having a unique and violent style in his director that I think can't be matched by other movie producers. With movies like 300 and Watchmen, it's very clear how he can craft a beautiful movie.
Second Favourite: Stanley Kubrick: Kubrick was known for being an absolute perfectionist and this can be clearly seen in his movies, they're just perfect. With amazing cult classics like 2001: A Space Odyssey, A clockwork orange, Full Metal Jacket and a whole bunch more, what's not to love about him?
All time favourite: Quentin tarantino: Clearly he is the best director for action movies with violence, he is the absolute pinnacle of directing for me. With movies like Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Inglorious Bastards and many, many more. It's needless to say, that in my opinion, this director is unmatched.

I don't really have any favorites, I do love Quentin Tarantino's stuff.
But if I have to pick a favorite, I'd probably go with someone most of you may not be well aware of:
Bartholomew Cubbins

Give us an example of a movie he's made and why you like him the most? :D

M. Night Shyamalan and Tommy Wiseau... Just kidding.
Don't really have a favourite, I don't really watch something for or based off the director.

Artifact the film! :D (which actually lists my name in the end credits!)
I like him because he's pretty good at what he does. He is quite a perfectionist and has a very personal style.
He's also an actor and has acted (I believe) in all of his own movies and several few other fairly well-known movies such as Requiem for a Dream, Panic Room and American Psycho.

Requiem for a dream was really well done, so was American Psycho to a lesser extent
-
Hayao Miyazaki or Quentin Tarantino
-
Mel Brooks: Blazing Saddles, History of the World, Silent Movie, and so many more

I'm excited to see Kubrick on so many people's lists because I get excited everytime I watch anything he's done. Some others I'm fond of: Spielburg, the Coen Bros., Nolan...ehhh I'm sure I'll think of some others later.
Kubrick's my definite favorite, Shunichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, I may have spelt his given name wrong) would be a close second. I've seen most of their work and both have had me at a just...awe watching it. The examples I'd use are both kinda cliche, but frankly I don't really care because I love Space Odyssey and Bebop so much, and I really don't feel that way about many other director's work.
