Title: computer speakers are broken???
Post by: mindcrasherTheFox on August 19, 2013, 05:41:29 PM
my friend computer speakers are like not working but working at the same time.  they only last for like 5 min then make a pop sound, and stop working.  I replaced them but like they are still doing the same thing what should I do.  I want to get them to work for him.  :?

You have to find the source of the problem  ^_^ is it the computer rejecting the speakers? Have you tried them in other computers?

Do the speakers have a power plug that's plugs into the wall? If so, it's probably the built in amplifier for the speakers failing after warming up. Pretty common on amplifiers (specially used, absued, older, and cheap equipment).

Try them in another computer, if you have the same problem the speakers are probably bad :P

well the fact that you replaced them and have the same problem tells me that something is up with the amplifier (or, related component) built into your laptop. If the previous set was doing the same thing as this set-it's a good bet there's something wrong with something in your laptop :/
