Cut of a small hole in an orange, take out the fruit, just leave the skin as a bowl. Put some chocolate cake dough in the orange skin, wrap it in aluminium foil and put it by the embers of your campfire. Leave it there for a few minutes, take it out, let it cool for a little while and eat right from the orange. Bon appetite! ^_^

First off I am an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow, and even a camp director. One of my favorites. Banana Boats. Make a slice down the banana and stuff things like chocolate, peanut butter, or caramel into the peel. wrap it in foil then put on coals to let everything melt. eat with fork or spoon.

Pawz, I have to say that in the last 12 years of camping that I have done, I have never heard of any of those foods that you mentioned for camping.
However, for my contribution, try mashing/slicing up 1 hamburger patty, 1 carrot, 1 potato and 1/2 onion and putting them all into one sheet of aluminum foil with 1/2 cup of water. Place on a small, makeshift grill and cook over a fire for 30 minutes. Best hobo stew ever.

I would say that you would want some coals to cook it just fire is unpredictable and hard to control

never had any problem with a basic rock pit and some wood. Been doing it for over 12 years, and it was the same stuff I've learned in both survival training and during Hell Week back during Basic Training.
