Title: Hello there.
Post by: Hannamytty on May 07, 2013, 01:12:49 AM
Hi ~. As a Finnish furry with an rusty English skills I have to disappoint you and make a really boring and short introduce. (Or maybe it's better this way?)
--
What's your/your fursona's name?
I don't have a name for my fursona at the moment and I think it will always be the same as my own name. My fursona is a deer anyway (atm).
How long have you been a part of the furry fandom?
I've found furries maybe about 11-12 years old. Those days I was on a closet and not visiting any forums or meeting other furries. Since 2008? I have been a member of Finnish furry forum.

What are your interests?
Arts (suprise), philosophy, psychology, religion and spirituality, and science. I really would like to know every kind of else cool things but don't have the motivation. .__.
Any favorite games/movies/music?
Some of my favourite artist are Alizée, Eisenfunk, Combichrist, Enya, Juno Reactor, Eleanoora Rosenholm and Kate Bush.

What's your favorite color?
I guess it's violet or black. I like colors which are kind of mix of two colors, like purple, lime or turquoise.
Anything in particular you're hoping to find on the site?
I don't have much friends so if I get them here it would be really nice. ^^

Like Bandal said earlier, your English is very understandable, so don't worry about that too much ^^

Regardless of how you view the quality of your English skills, you sound like a delightful person and we're glad you found us and took the plunge! Well, I hope you enjoy your stay here and meet many new and wonderful people much like yourself.  ^_^ And yeah, as for artistic talent, don't have to swing far to knock out a dozen artists.  T_T It's like a ton of furries are artists... or are a ton of artists furries.  :P Anyways, that's a discussion for another day. Glad to have met you Hannamytty. See you around!

Thank you :3 nice to hear.
Yeah, and I still have seen many good artists who don't succeed, mosly because they don't draw porn or they have style of their own. People want to stick in stereotypes.

Thank you all for the warm reception. :3

Yeah, that's one thing I'm afraid of with my art. That even though I am getting better each time I put the pen to the tablet, why should I continue beyond my own little doodles if hardly anyone is going to appreciate the better stuff I offer while art of worse quality becomes more popular. T_T Kind of makes me rethink how I see the great artists now. Although if you take art and think of it for what it is, a form of communication, then your right. Maybe I should just start adding more nipples to my stuff then.  :P Although I did have someone who raved about my mecha once. However I can't draw mecha without breaking my hands.  :|

But I digress, your most welcome hon.  :3

Hmm, true, but I'm glad (and I think  a lot of others too) are very glad you're willing to write good English. It does help a lot to understand one another (:

Anyways, regardless, you have good drawings skills, I checked out your dA page, very neat ^^

If you ever want to talk to me or have a questions, just PM me ^^

It can be easier in some point draw stuff people appreciate, positive feedback can make you more confident about yourselves and your art. Then you can move drawing stuff you really like to draw and the way you like to draw it. Also, in that point you are more popular and people automatically can appreciate your art more, no matter what it is. (Personally I still kinda don't like that popularity effects that way.)

Thanks! Sure, I wanted to make new friends also when signing in here, hehe.
One question; how you answer to a user in this without adding quotes? Or is there any that kind of function? It would be easier to them to get a message from answer.

The easy way is just to scroll down completely (or up) the page and you'll see a button saying "Reply".
Just click on that and it should just make you reply without quoting ^^

Or you could just remove the quotes and replies in the text while you type in the 'Post reply' window :)

Hope I explained it well and it helped :)

Guess I could always learn to draw dogs and do more fanart first. :3 Yeah it does kind of suck.  :/ But oh well.
