I need more to do when I'm not doing anything constructive.
Therefore I give you the chance to challenge me to your suggestions of what I should do over the next week and perhaps beyond.
Try come up with constructive/creative ideas whether for your or my own benefit (nothing silly though or costly).
eg. Write a song about a peanut, create an artwork entirely out of bottle caps, etc
For your amusement I will post any results upon completion.
Thank you in advance.

Draw a group sketch of you and your best furfriends! ^_^
-
Challenge accepted XD
-
Yay! Hehe, can't wait! ^_^
-
It'll take planning @.@
excelent

Oooh! This is an interesting one! I'll start you off easy.
When you're done with Shinobi's sketch, lick your elbow. Take a picture as proof.

Helpful,very helpful, lmao
Maybe write a short piece, in poetic style, about the differences between stories and pictures/drawings/etc and how they have different emotional effects on their readers or viewers. Nice and easy, eh?

For Rocoro
(http://i45.tinypic.com/1z5j37s.jpg)
It's hard to imagine,
just so as it happens,
how well a picture can tell a tale.
Though for art there is worry,
I'd rather read a story,
Especially one when written well.
OH well art is inspired!
your argument's transpired!
the purest of artists may say.
Though there's nothing as right,
to sit into the light,
and just read the day's hours away.
Shinobi's challenge is going to take a while, but I am working on it :)

Okay, you just went from 'someone I happen to know on this forum' to 'hotdiggity, he is full of win'.
Hotdiggity is also a word reserved for rare occasions, but well deserved here. Hotdiggity.
That was a awesome poem.
-
thanks :3
-
Holy cow you did it! That's it; you have just won this entire forum. *clap clap clap*
-
Alright I'm game for another one.
I'd like to challenge you to yet another test of your body. Handstand?

Do the impossible: Sell something on Etsy
-
In the mean time, try do a handstand for an entire song! The song has to last longer than two minutes though. Good luck!
-
Oh my goodness, Rakukanteki!! Please don't hurt yourself Razot!
-
I think once the semester ends, I'll start a "Challenge a Shinobi" thread. XD
-
I think you should go get lost in a place you have never been before and try to get back home from there without using a GPS or map. But rely in your sense of direction.
-
So I've got handstanding for a whole song, selling something on Etsy and getting lost somewhere...
lol m'kay
-
Hmm.... I'm gonna be evil to you (
but hopefully not too evil)
Your challenge is to recite the alphabet backwards while in the middle of doing a single backflip or frontflip (that gives you about half a second :P )
You are to upload video proof to youtube, where if successful it may or may not go viral.
Good Luck! ^_^

Before this derails from the original purpose of writing/art practice suggestions, I shall intervene.
Pray do try and write a haiku about the different impacts of writing, and art. Seeing as the previous one went well, I am certain you could come up with something interesting.
And lads, do be as nice to suggest ideas along the theme Razot asked for, and not just the 'go backflip off of a building' sort of ideas, as these are just off-topic, and silly :P
-
yes, nothing too extreme XD
just keep it creative (though i may cheat and do it creatively) :3
thank you Feral
A painting on the wall
A flutter of pages in the distance
I should read more
Sorry... Etsey is impossible and my ad got removed
Handstand will be done soon, still need to learn how
And sorry but it's impossible to get lost in Holland :P
-

Also, the Netherlands?! I did not know this! Hengelo, Overijssel, for me. Where are you at? You enjoying the nice weather as well finally?

nope, still going to do it at some stage :P

My challenge is to take up a hobby you've never done before, something you've never even thought of doing like programming, sewing, crafting or something, something unique. My challenge is for you to take up this completely new and foreign hobby and work on a project related to that hobby. So if you were programming work on a complex program, if it's sewing, work on a small cushion, or something.
I want you to post the results of your project after one or TWO weeks after taking up the hobby, you can use as many online resources as you can but it's suggested you work really hard on it and try to make the most compelling and awesome project ever.
-
Sounds good, I'll let you know when I start.
I'm also unfortunately putting a few of the other challenges on hold for now since things have been getting a bit busy. :/
