Hey there everyone :D
My name's Fleet~ but you all can call me Fleetsy if you want. xD Or anything else!
I'm not really sure what to say here, uh. ><
I'm rather pitifully shy, I like to eat, and I'm a sucker for someone tall.
[Predictably interested in someone tall, dark and handsome in my future? Maybe so xDD]
Basically, underneath the fur, I'm very much gender confused, but the important thing is that my main fursona is male, and I don't have a female set out yet! :3
Not sure if a life story is really warranted, but you can have a very abridged one. x3
Basically, the furry fandom [and all related things such as anthros or simply talking animals] interested me for years [since I was a young child, in fact], but due to the public outcry against them during the initial uprising [and popularization] of 4chan, it seemed I was doomed to meekly follow along the line of hate. Now of course, since I'm older [a whopping 20, going on 21 come October!], I've come to realize I was an incredibly stupid teenager. xD
Since then I've sketched up several ideas of a fursona, but very few have stuck like Fleet did. I tried a hound mix of some sort, a German Shpeherd, of course, but finally settled on a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. While I have more of a fondness for Cardigans, I can't deny that the cheerfulness, stubby tail, and ability to eat themselves to death identified with me far more than any breed -- in fact, an average Pembroke seemed to embody all the traits I wanted to possess for myself. So of course, isn't part of a fursona to become that character? Naturally, I am much more outgoing as Fleet than I am as myself, and I imagine that if I can actually, one day, get a suit [or partial] of him, I'd be able to actually grow as a person, with the confidence that suit might give me. I know it's not a quick fix - I'm painfully shy most of the time and socially, I flounder and mess up a lot, and I'm terrified of rejection - but I'm hoping Fleet can help channel some of that friendliness I have for my friends to those I don't know yet. :3
On the topic of the name Fleet, it was originally given to an old stuffed German Shepherd I had since I was at least 4 years of age -- I had no idea what the word meant, only that it sounded awesome and the first definition I learned of it was 'fast'. He was the reason I thought my fursona would clearly be a shepherd. Unfortunately, while some traits match well with me, I'm much more attached to Fleet as a Pem than a GSD.
But I don't plan on changing my doll's name, because he's been with me through everything over the years.
OKAY. That's enough out of my dumb mouth -- this is why I shouldn't go without coffee for two weeks and then drink two cups of coffee at one in the morning. xP

Just noticed that awsome little listy thing, so let's answer a couple of those questions as well!
- Favourite movies are Citizen Kane,The Road to El Dorado, High Society, Paint Your Wagon, The Quiet Man, The Sound of Music, aaaaand... Hm. Beauty and the Beast!
- Favourite games are defs Final Fantasy VIII/8, Threads of Fate, Rockband [xP I'm not even proud], and Persona 4.
- Favourite music... Gawd. I don't think I have any right now. :/ I've been listening to this one playlist constantly. But some music I can almost always listen to is The Killers, My Chemical Romance [<3 Who I will miss bunches], Nick Cave, Tom Waits, and Katy Perry. Sometimes Beyonce.
- My faaaavourite colour. Hrm. D: Probably like a cadet blue? I always waffle here.
- And mostly I'm just looking for friends. -_- Everyone's always saying I need more of them. XD Since I have all of like two to my name at the moment!

If I may ask, what gender are you in real life physically?
And sorry, I couldn't help but laugh when you mentioned those Corgi's have a tendency to eat themselves to death and then you say you want to embody the traits of that specific dog breed. I hope you don't want to eat yourself to death D:
That would be bad, you just got here!
As for 'needing' more friends, that's solely up to yourself :) Others shouldn't tell you to get more friends. If you think 2 friends is enough, then that's enough for you ^^
For a long time, I only had one real friend and I was glad with that.
