Mine is the wild west in america 1866-1915 it was filled with nature and i love farming and revolvers and its awesome
-
My favorite time period, eh? I should say just about any moment that hasn't happened yet. I love the mysterious and unknown path before us.
-
I'd obviously go for the current time period. Set aside how bad some of it is, dig deep enough and you find great communities like this. It's also, and most noticeably, the time of amazing developments if you look past the freaking iphones.
-
Have you seen the video waiting in line for iphone5 for no reason the lady is so stupid
-
1990's. Good shows. Good music. Good times.
-
Cold War era, for all the cool and secretive technological advancements and experiments that went on during that time.
-
1930s, a great period of pioneering in aviation, exploration and adventure!
-
The Vietnam Conflict, 1965 - 1973. It's so interesting to try to understand the war, and to see all of the innovations. It's such a misunderstood time, and people still hold fifty year old misconceptions. That, and the music from then is the best.

I agree but i find the apoclypse theory of the seven seals they had was interedting
-
If we're talking about time in both directions, then I'd say about 100 years in the future, where society is still some-what similar but drastically changed. I'd say my favourite time period of the past would be during the Roman Empires reign.
-
Actually, while ofcourse modern day is the most intruiging (in my opinion),
My favourite, by far, would be the napoleonic wars. I'd love to go into detail, but I'll reserve that for somewhere else, but it's quite the interesting period, for sure.
-
I loved the 1940's in america to because of all the art styles and Tv and it was funny but meant to be serious
-
Gotta say the 1950's to present. Just seeing how far we have progressed in such a short amount of time is astounding to say the least. I cannot wait for the next sixty years to pass us by to see where we will be c:
-
either the 50's-70's when all the taboos were bein' broken, or the 90's. i cant decide but i love everything 90's. grunge, 90's fashion, the hitory of the time (what with america and the middle east getting edgy) it was just a cool time man.

I'm torn between The Renaissance and World War I. The Renaissance ushered an age of critical progressive thinking and brought about superior works of artisan-ship that inspired inventors and astronomers for centuries.
World War I was the first major global conflict that affected the whole world round. It introduced aerial combat, mustard gas, and automatic weapons. The aftermath of the war, from the death toll to the new inventions and mechanics used, changed everything and molded what would lead to how modern warfare is conducted and orchestrated even today.
That's just my two cents

Biblical times, by far. It would be scary considering everything you do is punishable by fiery death, but hey.
It would be cool to meet all those famous people we're all named after, huh?
-
1600's-1800's
The time of progress and Gentlemanship
-
American 1950's, because music, clothes, culture. Hold the prejudice.
-
1970's and 1980's because of Queen <3
-
Hmm... Interesting question actually... I think I would have to go with the Victorian era, simply because of the growth of the steam industry and steam power is best power :)

My favorite time period of the past would probably be the period of time roughly 2,000 years before our own; that is, the time of the ancient Egyptians and Greeks. I used to be OBSESSED with ancient Egypt. Even today, I could tell you all sorts of random stuff about that time. For example, the ancient Egyptians thought one could get rid of a toothache by sucking on a dead rat. The ancient Greeks were so misogynist that the men actively pursued homosexual relationships over relationships with women. In ancient Egyptian royal families, incest was required in order to keep the royal blood pure. This culture can be seen in the stories of their pantheon, where the gods and goddesses are pretty much all related to one another in some way.
When it comes to the future, I find the coming decades to be the most intriguing. I love the cyberpunk aesthetic, and I particularly enjoy cyberpunk as a subgenre of speculative science fiction. While most cyberpunk authors have the same aim as many sci-fi authors who write about the distant future—which is to extrapolate on where humanity's malpractices will lead us—cyberpunk presents a much greater sense of urgency and immediacy. They're basically saying that, if we don't act right now, this is where we'll end up.
Also, I just love cyborgs and androids/gynoids. Mostly gynoids... :3

wild west, or now.... horses, revolvers, leverguns, badassery....or....internet porn...
D: so hard to choose
-
The 1950's; because of the clothing, mobsters/gangsters, and black '50's Cadillacs. I don't like how they look now. :C
-
I think now is my favorite time period. :3
It's because I'm young, I'm at my prime, my mind's not too fuzzy or completely off the walls with hormones to understand things, and I have the best technology available at the tips of my fingers. What more could I want, really? Yeah, I'm boring. But honestly, I also do not know enough about the past to decide whether or not it is my favorite time period. I'm too young to have lived very long, and I can't say much about the 90's as I was a kid without a clue or a brain back then. For me, it's best to experience something before I can actually say how I feel about it.

Well said, Arylett. :) I didn't think about it that way.

I would have to say the Middle Ages, when things were a lot more simple, or complex depending on your views.
Also a great time for architecture, art and society; pretty much the foundations of all three came from this era.
-
My favorite time period is the civil war. The reason is because I do civil war reenacting. Im a union soldier I get to shoot a 1863 Springfield repop. It's so much fun!!!!!
-
My favourite time period must be the renascence period in Italy. I know that it is because I have been highly influenced by Assassin's Creed but in my eyes that time period was simply a beautiful one. You had the amazing mind of Leonardo Da Vinci around at that time, and he was one of, and in my eyes, the best minds of that time period - he is my artistic, and inventive, role model and is the inspiration behind most of my creations. Then there is the architecture of the time. The buildings, big or small, were ones that you would expect to find in a movie in these days, simply awe worthy.
Although I have many different preferred time periods, this is one of my favourites.
-
Favorite time period? Hmm, I'd have to say in the generality of that question, it would have to be the Cambrian period. The lands were pristine and virgin, volcanism was shaping the super-continent, the sea was teeming with many new creatures, some of the first recognizable ancestors of us terrestrials. Heck, even my favorite little creatures, the trilobites, are just dominating the seas. It was born from an apocalypse and will die to one as well, but during that short period of calm, life was everywhere and it had adapted many of the things we take for granted today, like our spines.
What a time to be alive, not like now where we're at the start of a mass extinction event. But at the start of the genesis for the biodiversity all around us, no matter how common or exotic it is.
It's not the first life that sprung out of the geothermal pools, it's not the first time life left the seas, but it's one of the most important time periods for life on Earth. If I could, I'd just stand at that primordial sea in my life support suit and cry because it's just so beautiful and inspirational to me. Who knows, perhaps I would even see the first molds clinging to the rocks on that long distant shore, hundreds of millions of years ago.

The Beginning.
-
It's gotta be World War 2 for me.
I've always been insanely interested in World War 2 for the longest time, it's such a terrible conflict but probably the most important and influential in the past century. (Politics up until the 80's was pretty much determined by the aftermath of the war) Not to mention the beginning of an entirely new type of warfare and a taste of the destructive power that man holds.
-
For me? Probably either The Cold War, the Medieval period, or Victorian England. The first because back then, EVERYONE was a spy! The Middle Ages...well, it's the middle ages! Duh! There were mages and dragons back then! :3 And Victorian England because that's the Steampunk time period. :3

I sort of took this question in a few different ways :P.
The period of time in MY life that I've enjoyed most is probably right now. Right now things are going well for me and better than ever. It just keeps getting better and better for me.
HOWEVER
If you meant it as "Your favorite period in time to fantasize about living in historically" which is also sorta how I took it, I would probably pick the renaissance period simply because it was the very beginning of what was to come for many worldly innovations. I'd have loved to see all the ancient architecture and scenery from this time period in Europe and would have loved to just explore the world at this time to compare how things have changed and developed greatly between then and now (And we've obviously, as a society of humans, come a long way).
ALSO
If you mean your favorite season (Like favorite period of time in a year); I'd pick the summer. Warm temperatures and cool breezes make a happy dragon :3.

Here's a picture of my civil war reenacting trip

70-90's. I grew up in the 90's and i'm somewhat of a modern hippy. I'd like to have just lived the time, too bad we only get one :'( . I wouldn't trade my timeline for anyother though. I just couldn't give up what has made me, me.
