I'm battlechili1, and, as you already know, I'm new to this forum and to the furry fandom.
I first learned about the furry fandom in late 2011, after gaining personal access to the internet for the first time. (I'm really late to getting an internet connection). I mostly saw people hating on it, and didn't understand why people hated on it. Mostly I just saw people complain about the R34, which I think is a silly reason to hate on a fandom. Many fandoms have it, and people can like what they want. In late 2012, I started playing the game "Starfox Adventures" for the Nintendo Gamecube, and I became obsessed with the Starfox series, and I also gained interest in the furry fandom during this time, as the characters in Starfox are anthropomorphic animals. I gained more and more interest in the furry fandom, and I love the art, so eventually, by just a few weeks ago, I decided to try and get involved in the fandom. I finally considered myself a furry just a few weeks ago, I believe.
Sorry if that long spill bores you guys, or you were uninterested.
Other than what's already known, I love anime, cartoons, and Dr. Who. I'm also a gamer.
Anyways, hi, and I hope to have fun here.
It's a pleasure to meet you guys.

PS: I love the furry art but I'm a horrible artist myself.

@NikolaitheLynx: Thanks for the welcome, it's nice to meet you. My favorite anime are Gurren Lagann, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Durarara!!, and Bakemonogatari.
@VentusFall: Thanks for the welcome! My favorite video games are any 3D Zelda game, specifically Ocarina of Time, the game Cave Story, anything with Metal Gear on it, and anything with Kingdom Hearts on it, specifically Kingdom Hearts II.
As far as my favorite Doctor goes, I'm not too familiar with Doctor Who yet, but out of the new series, I think my favorite is the newest Doctor.

I'm sorry if it seems like I've wasted everyone's time, but today I actually have to leave and I won't be back for a few weeks. I joined this site while on vacation, and my vacation ends today. I'll be back in a few weeks though, so no worries.

It's been fine. I didn't like that I had left just after joining, so its good to finally actually be able to come onto the forums. I like the community from what I can tell. :)
