Title: Favourite weapon in games?

Mine might by the Cerebral Bore from Turok, it's a weapon that drills into peoples heads then explodes! That or the Portal gun :3

But I also have a serious affinity for the Halo Sniper, Line Gun and/or Pulse Rifle in the Dead Space games, the Daedric Sword in Skyrim, and lastly, the Hunting Rifle in Fallout New Vegas - full up on weapon mods, of course.

The Portal gun is either tied or a close second to it though, if it counts as a weapon.

-The contact beam from Dead Space 2 and 3 (Mostly 2)
-Energy Sword from Halo
-The switch blade from Dishonored

Assassin's Creed's hidden blades appears to be everyone's favorite, cause lets face it... those things look and are badass, I love what they did with them in A.C.3 having them flip into daggers!!! epic!

I like Devil May Cry 4 Nero's sword The Red Queen, looks beautiful and is wicked too!

And I'm certain a lot of you have never really heard of this game, Asura's Wrath, weapon would have to be well, His whole freaking body, he is just anger given a body and even without his arms will stomp the hell out of you or bash his own head against you... Not sure this counts but he is just awesome!

As for gun wise... well not much of choice other than Halo's Needler gun... or pink death bringer!!! lol!

As for guns, I've spent plenty of quality time with Halo's sniper rifle. But then, I'm also quite fond of the Boltok revolver from Gears of War 1. Nothing like blasting off a Locust's arm with a single, hip-fired active reload shot. B)

However, Clementine from Brütal Legend is my favorite weapon from a single game. Melting demons faces with heavy metal guitar riffs? Hell yeah!

Funny that the VK-12 is actually just a fictional gun that's a bigger version of the SPAS 12. Literally the only difference is physical size.

of all revolvers in games, I have to say that the .44 Colt in MW3 has to be the best. Nothing is more satisfying than pissing a lot of people off in Hardcore Free-For-All by going 30-1 and 19 kills ahead of 2nd place with using only a 6-shot revolver, where a lot of the kills are single shots and across the map.

Oh cool! A SPAS-12! I love that thing, in real world, you can change it into 2 different mode: pump-action and semi-automatic. Kinda nasty close combat shotgun.

Apparently, these are my favorite:
1. Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator (aka Gravity Gun, from Half Life 2).
2. The Original (Doom 3's and Soldier's in Team Fortress 2 rocket launcher, aka "Giant Painis").
3. Magnum (or .357, Revolver, Peace Keeper, lots of different names, and it is a legendary).

The mesmetron isn't really a killing weapon, though. It's more of a slave gathering device. Does it count?

But the kill outcome is only a %20 probability, while you have frenzy at %30 probability and stun/mesmerize at %50 probability. Using it as a weapon isn't really effective.
Also, how did you get into paradise falls without doing the quest "Strictly Business"? Did you kill them all?

Every single one of them. Then I freed all the slaves. c: But yeah, it still has the potential to kill, so while its viability as a weapon is far from reliable... It still can. XD

3. Most (If not all) SMG guns from Borderlands 1.
4. A good old hockey stick (From NHL 11. Maybe not technically a 'weapon' to most, but it is to me XD).

Blundergat is the definition of pwnage and just plain wonderful wonderful. Not to mention there's nothing more satisfying than hearing the powerful boom of a 4-barrel shotgun that either just plain turns zombies into red goo, or one that fires acid bombs that have a time delay so it can take the attention of the whole horde away from you before exploding in their faces.

And the spoon? The most epic melee weapon ever created in the FPS world. Nothing's better to screw with the minds of your friends than holding a golden spork and 1-hit melee killing zombies through wave 33.

Well, since the offensive ones are used separately, I'd consider them individual weapons. And out of those, I do like the large, crescent-shaped arm blade thingy. It had a limited moveset, but it was still a blast to use! That, and the claws. :3
