As I said, I'm new to the furry fandom and I was just wondering how I should get started? Are there any sites that you'd recommend?

As for tips.. this site is very friendly and newcomer friendly, so I can recommend it for making some friends (all of my best furry friends I've met here!). Also if your into art, furaffinity is a nice place to browse through as well.

Oh, and I cannot necessarily give you too much advice on any particular furry websites aside from forums like this one. I'm sorry that I cannot be of help in such a regard.

Hi ya! For art JUST for furries, what timmy said, FurAffinity is your best bet. Also deviantArt has a section for Anthro. For community, this is your best bet. Also facebook and Google+ has groups you can join and interact with other furs.

Ive been in the fandom for about 4-5 months now, and this is the best place to stay, i promise  ^_^
As already told, FurAffinity is the best art place.

As for any other sites tht are nice I recomend f4l (furry 4 life) its a furry social site. Its nice as long as you (in my opinion) stay from main chat, gets kinda annoying
