This game is pretty fun. Basically you have to get to the exit of each sector, and on the way you fight some ships/help people, etc (you get choices, so you can help someone or not help someone; sometimes helping people turns ugly and something bad happens to you, but sometimes things go well and you get something good). It's not exactly a space shooter or anything however; you control your crew on board the ship and you can make them control certain systems, such as the engines, weapons, shields, or pilots seat (I think those are all the controllable systems). If the systems get damaged you have to repair them; lets say your shields get destroyed, you'll have to fix the system to get shields back up (if you choose not to repair your shields then you're going to take a ton of damage from enemies).
The game also has amazing music.
This game is very hard, one small mess up during combat can completely murder you. :P Even a mess up after combat can get you killed; for example, something that happened to me was my oxygen system was destroyed during combat but I couldn't repair it as I had to focus on repairing my weapons and shields (otherwise I would have died), so when combat was over there was no oxygen left and I had put my guys into the medical bay (as they wont die if they're in there and the medical bay has power). I tried to send them out to repair the oxygen system but they all died cuz it was too far away. They also wouldn't regain health in the medical bay, just not die (so they'd stay at whatever percentage of health was left). If everyone on your ship dies you lose (you need at least one person to be able to control the ship at all since you need someone to fly it :P).
