The verification will stop after a few posts, it's just to make sure you're not some bot. Don't worry.

I'd assume that comes from the initial post. The rules are no inappropriate content and also you should avoid foul language (some more explicit curses like the f-word is also banned). This is to keep it at a nice pg-13 level and because swearing and cursing is not always so nice to read.

That statement is incorrect. The rule (http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?page=rules) about cursing was changed over six months ago.
If you're ever curious why you receive a warning, Electropony, you are always welcome to PM a forum staff member (http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?page=staff) to ask (including me). Whenever a staff member moderates a post, we will always leave some kind of notice either in the relevant post or in a PM. If you want more details, we are happy to help you, but please ask privately so that we can talk about it outside of a regular discussion topic. :)

Yes, but the rule still says you should keep it to a minimum and not use it in any way to insult anyone.
Also, as I said, the F-word is still banned. My main point was just that; You should avoid it but it isn't strictly against the rules (though excessive use of profanity is).

The F word is not still banned. No, we don't want people using it all over the place, but it is acceptable at a reasonable level. I know what the rule says; I wrote it. :P
