Title: Furry RP?
Post by: Lupi on September 27, 2012, 03:13:38 PM
I'm not new to RP, but I've never used my fursona in an RP before.
Had a bit of a skim through the advice stuff on here, but it all just seems to be RP basics. (Most of which I already know, the rest were just new phrases for general RP-douches)
Not too sure about what to with Lupi... (<--- Still in the FurCloset) Any advice?

As far as I'm aware, using animal or anthro characters in an RP is very similar to any other character. I suppose the only differences would be taking into consideration more animalistic actions, rather than human. For example, a cat character would be much more likely to "purr" or "prowl" than a human character would, know what I mean? Animals or anthros may fight with teeth or claws, rely on their keen sense of smell, swivel or perk their ears when listening for something, etc.

Some things just depend on the particular RP you're in, but overall, RPing as an animal or anthro character is just adjusting your actions to act as an animal would - taking into consideration their differences in instincts and senses and anatomy. It's not a huge difference, I think.

*Fallen out the sky*  Owch, that was smart and I'm so not play with that again...*Look around*  Huh...Yo, mind if I can join in on this party. I'm new and think I just blew something up so I need to stay out of trouble.

This topic isn't an RP, it was asking a question about RPing. Please read and stick to the original topic in whatever thread you reply to on the forum.
