Hopefully a topic like this doesn't already exist, but what are you guys' favorite video game characters?
 
I can't decide between Left 4 Dead's Louis and Ellis for first, and second (or would that be third) would be Rochelle from, once again, Left 4 Dead. Alyx and Dr. Kleiner from Half-Life 2 are definitely up there, and I gotta admit Master Chief, obviously from Halo, is a pretty awesome character.

Ethan Mars (Heavy Rain), Sheik (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time), GLaDOS and Wheatley (Portal / Portal 2), Ezio (Assassin's Creed II/Brotherhood/etc.), and Jade (Beyond Good & Evil).

Duke Nukem (Duke Nukem), Master Chief (Halo), Samara (Mass Effect 2), Legion (Mass Effect 2), Carl Johnson (Grand theft auto: San Andreas), Ceasar (Fallout: New Vegas), Samus (Metroid), and Shadow the hedgehog (Sonic Adventure Battle 2), The girl you play as in mirrors edge (forgot her name).

Impa (Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword), Charizard (Pokemon), Peppy Hare (Starfox), Emile (Halo: Reach), Thel 'Vadam (The Arbiter from Halo 2 and 3), Shadow the Hedgehog (only from Sonic Adventure 2), Midna (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess), Zant (same as last), Ridley (Metroid), Samus Aran (Metroid), Isaac Clarke (Dead Space), Fawkes (Fallout 3), Paarthurnax (Skyrim), Odahviing (Skyrim), Shahvee (Skyrim), Sarah Lyons (Fallout 3), James (Fallout 3, your character's father), Edward Buck (Halo 3 ODST), The Gravemind (Halo, Halo 2, 3), Solid and Liquid Snake (Metal Gear Solid), Grovyle (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2), Dusknoir (same as last), Carl Johnson (GTA: San Andraes), Shaundi (Saint's Row), Oleg (Saint's Row 3).

And those are all that I can really call my favorite. Still a big list, but I really dig into character, so I find myself liking a good many.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic Adventure)
Fox McCloud (StarFox)
Master Chief (Halo)
Zero (MegaMan X)
Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil 4)
Wheatley (Portal 2)

Zero is like my fave out of the list though.
