I'm just curious if anyone is interested in any of my suggestions.Here they are:
- 1st Suggestion
Gate of Destiny
On a Fantasy world a group of adventurers head out to fight Evil.
My Char from Earth would be human at first and is destined to rescue that world through certain circumstances in her life.
The story is done. Ask for more details if interested.
- 2nd Suggestion
A good witch tries to catch a bad witch. (Story is pretty open)
- 3rd Suggestion
Star Trek setting, maybe the daily life at Starfleet like the Academy, on starships, on a starbase and so on but with Furries!
- 4th Suggestion
Mass Effect universe (no real storyline yet... just a question if anyone is interested)
- 5th Suggestion
Medieval: Knights, Squires, Lords, Ladies, Servants, intrigue, love, hate, sorrow, envy, everything else that belongs (story should be worked out together)
- 6th Suggestion
I had a dream once about a Dragon Temple in which the creatures come alive suddenly.
Maybe we could create a roleplay out of that like some kind of treasure hunt or something like that. The treasure hunters shouldn't only be dragons of course.
- 7th Suggestion
Two families are mired in a feud because generations ago the patriarch to-be married the woman the patriarch to-be of another family loved as well.
Today two children of each family fall in love (preferably two women). They have to get that straight then deal with the rivaling families and so on and so forth...
- 8th Avatar (Na'vi and so on)
This doesn't have to be about the Military so much.
I'd rather play an Ikran or a Thanator or a Na'vi.

I am SOO down for Medieval!
I do have some ideas for it that im probibely going to steal from my book A Game of Thrones.
And if we where going to do Medieval, Is there a limit to how powerfull magic can be if any?
Also other theams I would be interested in is:

Concerning Magic... there shouldn't be Magicians powerful enough to manipulate others like Q in Star Trek for example.
I'd say that's the only limit!
1 Gate of Destiny is actually a book I started to write but most parts of the original story are lost unfortunately.
4 What species would you choose to play?
I'd probably take an Asari :D

8 Avatar! I'm all for it! I just love the story/history of the Na'vi, the planet and the creatures... but not so much the Military. I'd prefer it if they hadn't arrived yet!

I haven't role-played on a forum in about two years... feels like it's been longer than that. I have strong interest in a Mass Effect RP, and have many characters in mind... not sure which one to choose. I'll RP in any of the settings and timeframes of the games. Some mild interest in the Avatar one... for the sake of being a villain. I don't think anyone here would like playing that part, and I have interesting characters in mind for that role, if it's even available. I'm not much of a fan of Avatar, or the movie's plot... so I might not join it even if the Resources Development Administration's Private Military Company is involved.
Be warned that I have a haphazard schedule, and play on the 360 a LOT. I'll check back as regularly as I can, but I might be asleep or playing Gold in ME3 or Survival in MW3 when it's my turn in the RP. Don't PM me to get to posting, because I'm likely already on it just in a seperate tab, and trying to rush me's just gonna make me drop the whole thing.

I played them all... I was hooked the first moment after installing part 1 and choosing my female character!

5: Well... Allot to explain. First off there are two main regens to the land, the North and the South.
The north is allways batted by snow storms and is normally the "Poorer" side of the kingdom. and the south is usual allways warm, plains and forests, lakes. Pretty much opposite of the north witch is mountens, cliffs, revans.
Now far far up north there is a group of knights called the Night's Watch. They are a group of Criminals and knights of honor that pledge there life to guarding a MASSIVE Ice wall infused with ancient magic that stretches across the land separating the realm of men from the haunted forests that lay on the other side full of savages, monster's, giants, and Zombie like ghouls.
Now the Kingdom used to be peacefull but a recent uproar about the murdered kind has thrown the realm in chaos. The north is now at war with the south and the Nights Watch is not receiving the people it needs to watch the wall. And slowly but surely the creatures of the dark are leaking into the realm of man.
This is the VERY BASIC of the story line, It can go any way you guys want or can be altered as needed. I'm down for anything.

5 Its only human but we can intergrade other races as well. And we can use the map from the book.. Let me find a picture and ill post it. Its VERY detailed.
8: Seems good to me, If we wanted to spice it up, we can have it so an expedition force explores our tribe, it doesn't need to start off hostile.

Mass Effect: Most of my characters would be Paragon in personality, with a few on the Renegade-ish side of things. I'd only pick one or two of them, depending on the rules. I'll see if I can get some friends involved in the RP, if possible. They like Mass Effect as well.
Avatar: And too bad. I kind of had a Bane-like 'juggernaut' character in mind for another round at destroying the Tree of Souls with little-to-no interest in the materials under it ("Some men just want to watch the world burn."), he'd have been incredibly destructive and crushingly brutal, more so than Miles Quaritch... and would have ignored international law with about a third of the remaining SecOps backing him up using black market technology and weapons instead of their old 'conventional' equipment. His name is Ted Emerson. Probably really unfair, for one side or the other, depending on the way things turned out.

5: Ya! we can have all the basic mythological races, Ork, Dwarf, Elf(and sub elf groups), Half breeds, and so on.
We can even make a few custom races if we wanted to fit some of our fursonas.
But of course humans are going to be he dominate race that holds most of the seats of power.
8: Mind telling me the clan names and there locations. I'm only familiar with the Na'vi.
And the names of the animals too if you don't mind. ^_^

8 I only know of... uhm not true... in the movie it's the Ometecaya (the one's Jake Sully joins), then there are the horse clans of the great plains or something like that and the Ikran people of the eastern sea.
In the game (PC which I played) there are a LOT of tribes... no idea what they're called... it's just too many!

Thanator (that mean thing chasing Jake and the one Neytiri rides at the end of the fight)

I hope we'll be traveling with Commander Shepard, but perhaps not really interacting with him too much so we don't possibly bother anyone with his personality and every little choice he makes. I wouldn't mind, but some might, it depends I guess. Of course I think giving him an alignment and a selection of primary choices along the way is a good idea, we just have to decide which choices he made. I'm fine with Shepard being male or female, either's okay with me. My characters will be people Shepard recruited for the mission to stop Saren in Mass Effect, find and destroy the Collectors in Mass Effect 2, and wage the war against the Reapers in Mass Effect 3. They'll be of varying species, classes, and alignments, but I'll only pick one or two them, as previously stated. I'll decide that when the RP comes along.
Avatar: Alright. I won't jump in and force this new development if it's not in the right timeframe.
And yes, it is. Ted's younger, bolder, stronger, tougher, highly Anarchistic, excessively cruel and unconventional in combat, prejudiced against Na'vi and everything else native to Pandora, vengeful over the defeat of SecOps, a wanted criminal and terrorist, and legally psychopathic. He's also not part of SecOps, but convinced a lot of them as well as other pirate and mercenary groups to join him in his raid. He's trained himself to do battle with Na'vi warriors in single unarmed combat, although carries with him a variety of old guns with new tech in the event he has to shoot something.
And about the Medieval RP... I might be interested if I'm not too occupied with other RPs or other things. It sounds interesting, and I have several characters that would fit the timeframe. Just got to pick again, although I want to try out my wingless Desert Dragon Paladin, Gardus Val'edrach.

Mass Effect: Four examples of characters I've got are a Paragon Engineer named Rebecca Slauson, a Paragade (75% Paragon, 25% Renegade) Soldier named Frank Keegan, Renegon (Flipped alignment of Paragade) Infiltrator named Joanna Keegan, and Renegade Vanguard named Ted Emerson. Those are my standard Mass Effect characters, and I have some others who aren't Human, so I can fill in any niche needed very easily.

4, mass effect, 5, medieval, and 8, Avatar are in my oppinion AWESOME ideas for Roleplays. Mass Effect just because I love Sci-fi, and Star Wars is great, but a little cliche.
Medieval because you can make great Roleplays out of it, ranging from Massive battles to questing travellers. And Avatar, just because ITS MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!! WE NEED A RP OF IT :D :D :D

As we said... without military.
Before the invasion and shortly before scientists arrive. We build their arrival into our story line.
I would like to play an Ikran for the 'Ikran people of the Eastern Sea' + a Na'vi that has nothing to do with my Ikran. :D
As for a story line... we have to keep in mind that Na'vi don't have war among each other since they are so in tune with each other, the world, nature and everything.

The Mass Effect 2 & 3 are useable for a RP. In my opinion, 3 is even better, for it has multiple ways to grow a story, and not just 'Fight the Collectors', but now 'Save Earth', 'Defeat (a) Reaper(s)', 'Fight Cerberus', etc. And seriously, for information on the genre, look up 'Mass Effect wiki' on google.

I'm sorry everyone, but I've forgotten something that has kept me from RPing on message boards for a very long time. I can't set up applications without my own art. I'm tired of typing long-winded descriptions of my characters, and really would rather not use images for references. Show a picture of a man to a thousand people, and they all get the same idea. Show a page of text telling what the man looks like to a thousand people, and you get a thousand different interpretations. I don't like that.
It was fun to consider and discuss it, at least...

I really got my hopes up on this, but once I got to the part where I had to type in my character's appearance, knowing that so many people can just link to one of their drawings, and I can't... I just quit. Forum RPs need applications, it's not your fault for making it. It's my fault for being incompetent in art, and being unwilling to write things that are left to interpretation. Maybe some other time, I don't know...

Dossier: Kadara's Maiden Phase was quiet and uneventful spent studying and with science until she met her mate at the age of 250. They had 4 daughters and lived a quiet life on Thessia. When her mate had to do business on Omega they all joined her and it cost the lives if her mate and two of her daughters.
From that day she trained her already existing biotic powers for combat and learned how to use Submachine Guns and Assault Rifles.
She became a justicar and is trying to track the murderers of half of her family aside from her usual duties.

Biography:
Lateya is a true Na'vi born to the Mawey Clan which is located near the Hanging Gardens but opposite the Omaticaya Clan. Their Hometree is like any other on Pandora which was in their clan for generations.
Growing up Lateya learned to hunt with the bow and knife as usual in their clan and to ride direhorses.
When her teachers thought she was ready at the age of 15 she went through the Iknimaya. It was a tough fight after the red Ikran with fire-like and black markings chose her but she was able to make the Tsaheylu in time. Lateya and Rawke were inseperable since then.
With this and her ceremony she was born a second time as a true Mawey.
After becoming an Ikran Makto she helped hunt for food in the clan after constructing her own Banshee Queue Harness.
At the moment an angry, injured Thanator is making the life of the Mawey Clan hard.

We should seriously think about starting an Avatar and/or a Mass Effect RP XD

Sorry for the delay but I was without internet the past couple of weeks!
I started OOC threads for all three roleplays (Avatar, Mass Effect and Medieval) in Serious RP.
I suggest you copy/paste the character sheets you did into those threads and then..... we could start :D I'll think about an opening post for Avatar but... Mass Effect... for that we should discuss some more where to start, which game to use and so on!
As for medieval... we still need a char sheet there!
