Title: I'm new and kinda nervous

I've always known I was a furry but I didn't want to believe it myself.  I finally have come to terms with it and already I'm happier.  I am working on telling my family.


I've always wanted to travel to Mongolia and learn about my heritage.  I came up with stories of what it would be like.  The fursona Kushibataar developed around them.


I'm not sure what to do now, I joined forum to learn and become more of a part of the fandom.  I'd like to learn more about what I've just jumped into!

First of all don't be nervous, we are a friendly bunch :D
I think the best way to learn is to get involved, have fun and make friends. I find a good way to get to know people is in the FunRP and Forum Games boards.

It would be good to hear the story of Kushibataar sometime :)

Don't be nervous. You don't have too "come out" as a furry. People will only make a big deal out of it if YOU do.
