Is it healthy for my laptop to keep it pluged into the charger for long periods of time?
And.
If there is stuf under my keys, is it safe to just... "rip" the key out to clean it out?
-
1. Sure you can keep it plugged in no problem, but you'd want to take the battery out. Laptop batteries are at their healthiest when you let it discharge and recharge instead of letting it being plugged in whilst at 100%.
2. You can do that no problem, just pull it off carefully so you won't damage the hinge.

1. I always have mine plugged in. ALWAYS. SO yeah, its safe.
2. Just be carful pulling them out, you don't want to damage the actual keyboard.

Lithium Ion batteries are fine to leave plugged in forever (most devices these days use Lithium Ion batteries). Lithium Ion batteries are also fine to be recharged even when they haven't fully discharged.
As for the keys, most of them should come off no problem but I hear the function keys (F1 - F12) don't come off on some laptops and taking them off will wreck them. All the other keys pop off though and go back on easily.
