Title: Video Editing Programs
Post by: Aloneness on June 13, 2012, 04:48:13 PM
I'm working on a trailer for something and I was wondering what people suggestions were on video editing programs, simple I have a blank check so money isn't a problem for me for the cost of software, so I'm not exactly looking for the best value, I wanna know what does the most at the highest quality. Because I got PowerDirector by CyberLink and it sucks :P

I use Adobe Premiere Elements. I don't know if this is the best program but I get it free from my school.
It works and that is enough for me. You can download a trail from the adobe website.

Adobe Premiere is a nice piece of software even if it's a tad complex to get into. Same goes for After Effects is you're really serious.

Otherwise I could recommend Sony Vegas Pro. It's in no way the best or most stable, especially not for the price, but it's very easy and nice to work with and thus it works out good, so that might be something worth taking a look at as well.

Highest quality of all; If you wanna take the effort and time getting into them, Adobe Premiere and After Effects make an amazing mix.

Sony Vegas Pro is a really good video editing software if you can afford it :P
But if you can it's quite worth it, I have only used it a bit but the GUI is quite simple to understand and the detail, complexity and adaptability is very nice!  ^_^

I'll try out:

Sony Vegas Pro
&
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5

@Tunny, That makes me happy because I'll need to do Motion Capture for other parts of my mod, :D

Actually, Premiere Pro CS6 is the more recent version, released just a few weeks ago.
