Title: Student asking for help
Post by: Kristian on May 14, 2012, 07:59:53 PM
Hey there. I am a Political Science student currently working on an exam paper about how people form opinions on public forums and I understand that the furry-community is one of those social groups that have a strong basis in the online communities. As such, I am very interested in learning more about you guys and if you could spare five to ten minutes to complete a survey for me, it would be a great, great help. The survey will just be a few questions about yourself (nothing that can be used to identify you, of course), how you use the forum and then your opinions on some political issues.

Here’s the link to the survey: http://www.survey-xact.dk/LinkCollector?key=RJVLVLC91216 (http://www.survey-xact.dk/LinkCollector?key=RJVLVLC91216)

Sadly, I can’t compensate you for doing this, but should you feel like helping out a complete stranger anyway, I promise that I’ll love you forever and ever. If you have any questions, please let me know in this topic and I’ll do my best to reply as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance. I hope you have a great, amazing and awesome day of absolute splendor.

Don't you think displaying the previous responses to the questions will influence how people will answer the questions? I am not suggesting everyone is a mindless drone who blindly follows the group, but polls and votes are usually blind or anonymous for a reason. The validity of your data may be called into question.
