i know it sounds like a weird question but ive been on here for a while now and people ive known on here for a while just seem to take less interest in what i say i mean..i might mention something and they tend to just carry on chatting like i wasn't there
its kinda like im talking to a brick wall...
but yeah seriously...have i lost my touch? ...am i active on here too much for it to be special?
im looking for answers because this kinda keeps me up at night. :S

to be honest, i haven't even noticed you except the first day you joined. that's about it. i'm big on games and serious RPs, and discussion threads. i never really see you active in those, nor do you seem very active at all, so I can't really say that there was really an interest there.

Not many ppl use irc

Hey dont worry mate, I see that on the IRC all the time. Frankly if your not a part of the current discussion (more really dialogue) then you tend to get ignored.
And sometimes people are on but not paying attention.
-
I wouldn't say anyone on this forum is "boring", but yeah, you only really get noticed on discussion and rants+advice.
-
i check my list of new posts, but i check for titles that might interest me. if it's just stupid bullshit or something i don't really care about, i won't bother reading. i usually don't ignore threads because of who writes them unless it's certain people that i know aren't worth me reading from.

Haha, I know what you mean, I get that often not just in the irc. I sometimes may even get topics started and just fade into the background. But that's just how it is with me, and I have no wish to change myself to better interest others.
I'm a lone wolf after all xD.

IRC is generally a place to go after you've met everyone and became known. I used to run a few forums with IRC channels. Every day it was the same old thing, go on, and ban the excessively annoying. Conversations on IRC are difficult to start, usually because everyone is off playing video games or some fuzz. Part of the problem may be if the IRC is going to fast, your messages can get lost in all the clutter; sorta like whispering in a tornado. Just converse on here a lot more whilst using IRC. It will be a lot more fun, and you'll notice no one is intentionally ignoring you.

yea i might try that i see no harm in it..

Personally, in an attempt to avoid that 'whisper' scenario I generally avoid the IRC, simply remaining on the forum proper when I see fit.

Don't worry about it, maggintons.
Don't even ask a question like that....it's actually very silly.
Am I boring? Is something I used to ask myself when I tried to be the queen of posts but nobody was talking to me....then I realized I was wasting my time instead of doing something meaningful. It's really ridiculous to worry about something like that. It's just an internet forum. Yeah, I like this place but I'm not going to get obsessed.
Nobody is truly boring. And I doubt anyone thinks you are. They are simply busy and posting what is on their mind. If something you said sparks their interest they will reply, if not, is isn't because of you being boring, they just don't have an interest. There's actually a difference. Your "touch" will wane an grow, off and on...I was once top poster, now I am not, once I get internet I may be again, it's up and down, you should just be yourself and not worry about it. It's a waste of time to worry about it, people like someone who has fun whether they are popular or not.
