Title: Paying for tattoo commission
Post by: Døvu on May 01, 2012, 04:51:52 AM: Ive been doing a lot of thinking and researching, and have decided that Im ready for my tattoo. However, I need it designed first. It may take a few tries (you know since it will be on me forever) before you hit the mark with what I have in mind, so I will pay (via paypal) for the final product. Below are some samples in terms of style/detail. If you think you can capture the amount of detail I want, please respond and we will go into details.

If you specify a little more on that, someone won't have to try as many times to get it right either. I'm sure an artist doesn't want to draw a ton of pictures and only get paid for one because details weren't specific enough, I know I wouldn't. (Not saying that you only paying for a final product is bad, just saying that some artists only like to fix art so many times before they get fed up with it.)

Post by: Døvu on May 02, 2012, 01:46:45 AM: depending on the amount of time the artist puts into it Vine, Ill be paying hourly depending on how long they estimate it will take. I dont plan on paying more than 50.
and Vee: Im looking for an artist capable of creating the detail in the first two, and being able to put it in the anatomical position of the third. Once someone speaks up, then Ill talk to them privately about specifics so there isn't (shouldnt be) any trial and error.
