Title: Unnecessary rage
Post by: maggintons on April 15, 2012, 02:33:31 PM
have you ever had a time where out of embarrassment and tenseness you raged at someone ?

well i had a similar expierence today in which a certain fur had changed his name on chat a day ago i spent AGES looking for him causing my mum to rage about the time i had spent online.

The next day i spent a whole morning looking for him to find out.......

He was on all the time just under a new name.....and then i raged upsetting evreyone online

ive made this post to make sure people dont make the same mistake as me and if someone did...can share the story on here so i don't feel as if im the only one to do it :(

You have no idea how much that drove me crazy when I first signed up on this forum, people would change their display names and then I would have to figure out for a long time who they were again T_T... I just tend to call all name changers, fursona full alterations, and gender swaps as "shapeshifters".

well yea i guess that leads me onto another thing when someone abandons there sona i cant help but feel sad that it is gone to the seas of time they should keep all there fursonas on a list or something also i think the one thing that sells commissions is the fursona of the person doing it ...it becomes like a brand and people become big fans of them

OP, I would have to say the rage was quite unnecessary in that given situation.  And this is coming from a very angry person.

I mean, could you have explained to your mother about how you had something to do?  As far as the name change goes, eh.  It's annoying at best, but it truly isn't a rage-worthy thing.  Try to remember that there are bigger things to be angry about.  Like for me, it's idiot friends, idiot politicians, and just... well... idiots in general. :S

I have a HUGE personal "bubble", and I'm fairly antisocial in most cases. Also, I'm incredibly protective of my art. So, when my friend came and looked at my art, I just started crying. Very embarrassing, especially considering I rarely ever cry.

I used to rage a lot when I was little and once it got so bad that my mom had to take me to a hospital, or so my parents said. It's gotten quite better, but sometimes I still rage for the most insignificant things. Which is strange since I usually get depressed or "dead" during severe crises, but never angry if it's a severe crisis. Sometimes it's because of a sensory overload due to too much noise, and other times it's for something petty like being told to pay attention in class, stuff like that.
