After putting it off for quite some time, I've finally decided to attend my first furry con. I haven't decided on one yet(not sure of any upcoming ones in NJ), but it's definitely something I want to experience, discounting all of the "bad" things that probably happen at them. but screw all that. I don't have any friends in the furry fandom, and I'd definitely like to make some. Hell, maybe I'll find a like minded girl. ^_^ I've been to a few anime cons before, but I've been told that furry cons are a different breed.What can I expect?Are there any do's/dont's?Any "Don't be surprised if......" I should be aware of?Oatmeal?Is the atmosphere generally welcoming/friendly? I'll be going myself, and I'd hate to fly solo the entire time.Is the extreme imbalance of the M/F ratio true?Thanks. B)
