just a question i'm asking for the opinion of others on the terms that i intend on purchasing one of the above in the near future :P

I'd go with the LoZ 3DS cuz 1. it's limited edition and 2. Legend of Zelda is awesome.  As for the tablet, tablets are generally overpriced for the hardware you get.  And with the laptop, why buy an under-powered laptop?  :P
(unless you need the laptop, in which case under-powered is fine)

If you like LoZ a lot, get the 3DS, otherwise I'm not a big fan of Nintendo's current range of consoles, portable and stationary.
The laptop would overall give the most performance per buck, even if a tablet could be a tad more portable, but as Kamoku said, their quite overpriced for what you get. Myself I wouldn't go for either of those, mostly as I don't have any need for any of em though.
