I was just thinking of why I am a furry, and actually, I couldn't find an answer I was comfortable with... it was answers like: because it's me, because it's cool and answers like that, then I begun to go into it, and found out... I am a furry because that's me, I'm a furry because I feel like an animal and feel nice by saying it, but I'm still not sure this is the reason I'm a furry... so what does it mean for you guys and girls to be a furry??

Because I like animals and anthros.
That's all there is to it, really.

To me being furry just like Zephyr mention like animals and anthros. But as well as beleiving you bit more than that as well. That you are actually part of your fursona as it is part of you.
As well feeling that part of the animal is inside of you.
Still the Fandom itself is your choice to choose.
I'm Still new to the fandom myself, But to me this is what being a furry is to me.
Like to chat more PM me my ears are open to all furries.

To me, I feel I fit in more with the fandom, and I like the concept of anthros. It's also a way to express oneself artistically, and they can do that in many different, interesting ways.

For me it's a(nother) way to express myself :)
I've always liked fluffy stuff, dragons, anthro's and such. Furry-fandom contains everything I've always liked and now that I've finally found this fandom, I really enjoy it ^^

To mean, its not actually a way to express myself, but being myself, i love anthros, animals and the way other furries express.
Other reason might be, i like fluffy stuff, i even got some cuddles and i still sleep with them, i feel more like an anthro/animal than a human itself.

Same here, in regards to feeling more anthro than human. Being furry, to me, just means to be myself. Cause that's a huge part of who i am. The other part being Star Wars, of course. ^_^

Its who I am I feel more anthro than human really I like allot of the artwork people make and I even make someof my own overall all it is me being myself

To be free to do what I want and have the support, trust and guidance from not one person, or a group of people, but a community of people who share the the same, if not similar, interests in most of the things I do.
That sum it up?

A furry for me, personally, is the idea of imagining yourself as an anthro animal. To be part of an awesome community with some very interesting people.
I haven't thought about a furry more than that really XD

I am a furry because, first off, I got bored at a friends house and started looking up something. Through this, I got to a site explaining what a furry was (anyone who liked the art style it said). But I ultimately joined because I was bored and kinda lonely, so I had hoped to make a few friends.
Been here for a little over a year, and had left twice due to my inability to stay mature, which I finally fixed. Even though it was replaced by a small tendency of being an ass.
