The marines got off the small ship into the hanger. The sight was horrid. Blood covered most everything. however, the only body was of a monster that looked like a rapter with a flat face and no scales. The marines look at this, then spot two path ways with sign over them. One said lab, the other control room.

Phantom knelt down and examined the body, scanning its anatomy using the special visor in his helmet.
"This thing's definitely alien," he said. "Its internal arrangements differ from ours."
He stood up and fingered his knife handle.
"What happened here?" he wondered aloud.

Shadow looked around to get a feel of what happened. Shadow then looked at jazen. "Jazen, shinzuu, and marine 5 (empty slot) go to the control room and see if there is anything that tells us what happened here. The rest of you, on me, we will go to the labs and look for survivers, and vital data. We will meet back here when we're done. Keep radios on."

Shadow looked around to get a feel of what happened. Shadow then looked at jazen. Phantom... who was also called Jazen... snapped off a quick salute to Shadow.
"Right away, sir," he said, walking towards the hallway.

max looked around, smirking when phantom scaned the alian, keeping himself from muttering aything about the look of the thing. he calmly followed shadow without anything more than a nod of understanding, adusting his gear along the way.

Shinzuu slapped down the thermal scoped over his left eye, "Wilco. Will maintain radio contact. I recommend complete radio silence, though, sir. Who knows what the hell's out here." Unlike other people, his thermal had always only been on his left eye, while others had always had full goggles, due to the fact that his feline right eye had always gave him the advantage of night vision. He took out his Kabar and held it in reverse in his left while drawing his 96 from its holster and held them in front of him. Shinzuu had the basic schematics on the panel on his left forearm and led the way.

Phantom followed behind Shinzuu, checking his stocks of ammunition for all of his weapons... except for his magnum, which hadn't run out for the longest time...

The hall way to the control room was pretty long, but at the end it trump left with a sign that says: control room. Just before the end of the of the hall, is a door on the right. But the sign at this angle is unreadable.
The hall that leads to the labs is longer, and ends in a room. Before that is a door to the left. Again, the sign can't be seen due to bad angle.

Phantom looked around warily.
"I have a bad feeling about this, guys..."

Shinzuu's ears perked from a slight movement and put a finger up to his mouth to silence Phantom. Seriously, he's part of our elite group? Can't even keep quiet. He tightened his grip on his Barretta and typed in the code for the door to slide open. He quickly entered the dark control room, aiming left and right with his line of sight. There was no one inside, not even bodies like in the hangar. "Clear." Shinzuu searched around and found the emergency lighting for the room and switched them on. It wasn't bright, so it wouldn't have hurt Phantom's eyes. He keyed his radio, "Leader, we have arrived at point. No contacts as of yet."

We reach the first door on the left and i told my team to hold position. Thats when i here shin over the radio. I respond, "Keep your eyes pealed. Who knows whats hiddin in the shadows. Over." I open the door and motion my team in. It was still well lit, the computers looked undamaged, but there was a lot of blood and oddly, tiny chunk of meat. All the beakers were shattered on the floor.
Shin, phantom, and marine look around the control room. Marine, walks around the room when something drips on his head. He looks up, then dodges the monster's atmpt to land on him. The thing sceams and walks towards the marine, not noticeing shin and phantom.

Moving quickly, Phantom drew his combat knife and jumps onto the thing's head, then makes two gashes above its eyes so that its blood would block its vision. Moving just as quickly, he hopped off the thing, scooped up the marine, and ran back over to Shinzuu.
"He's all yours, my friend," Phantom said, sheathing his knife. "But be careful... make sure it's not to damaged so that we can study it in order to learn what we're up against."

Seeing its fangs and how big they were, Shinzuu shook his head. "No guarantees there." the creature leapt at him, and he brought a large foot up and kicked it to the side, but it was harder and heavier than it looked, so it didn't go far. He then took a step back as it had landed on its feet and turned to leap at him again. Shinzuu quickly ducked down and brought his Kabar up through the creature's maw and stuck the barrel of his suppressed Barretta and fired off 3 shots, his signature triple-tap.

Phantom nodded in approval.
"Eh... close enough," he said. He turned to the marine he had rescued.
"You alright?"
He was rewarded with a silent nod from the marine. "Good to know," he said, getting up.

thanks for moving me out of the way but just because I'm a woman doesn't automatically make me helpless.
*Elizabeth states as she brushes herself off. she looks around for the main computer but not before checking the ceiling out for any more monsters.*
i need to find the central server to start the file transfers and to see what data they have on these ..creatures. it should also give us a detailed look at what exactly went wrong down here...
*she says this more to her self as she starts crawling under one of he tables that run the length of the wall that the computers are on. a few seconds later she has a cable attached to her laptop and starts running a decryption program as well as a self produced hacking protocol.*
it should take about 2-3 min to get into the system, depending on how heavily protected the files are.

Phantom looked at the marine in surprise.
"You're a girl?" he said. "Wow... I couldn't really tell with your clothes... plus, you're wearing a helmet and haven't said a word until now... and I never said you were helpless. I was only helping you out... plus, I didn't want Shinzuu to shoot you by accident. I don't like death."

Shinzuu scoffed at Phantom, "Proves more of how you're not ready for missions like this. No one shoots at close range better than me in 3 battalions, thank you. Besides, if you couldn't even tell her gender just from her body language, you got some training to get to. Liz, from the looks of it, it wasn't alone. This thing's not as big as the ones we found in the hangar. You have 1 minute to hack that shit." He checked his magazine, 11 more shots plus the one in the chamber. He clicked it back in and turned up the amps on the thermal scope on his left eye. He also keyed his mic, "Leader, watch the ceilings and walls, there are hunting types all around. Requesting full silence for 2 minutes. Black Kat out."

Elizabeth chuckles as she sits by her computer, glancing at it peridocally. "if you cnat stand death why are you here? "
she takes off her helmet and puts her ear peace back in. her hair is long and dark maroon. its pulled back in a ponytail but a few curls are out in in her face. Elizabeth's eyes are brown. she is also a little shorter and now that it was aparent a lot more agile looking. she dosent look like a typical mouse from the back though. her tail is bushy and not thin.
"im almost done."
The computer screan blinks and her fingers fly over the keys. the lights on the other doors turn from red to green.
"doors are open, data is transfering"

Phantom glared at Shinzuu.
"Oh, I'm sorry," he said. "Excuse me for making sure that all of the gear was sound before we got here and making sure we didn't get jumped as we walked down the corridor... I was kinda focused on focusing."
He looked over at Elizabeth.
"Allow me to rephrase that," he said. "I can't stand the death of people who have the potential to become good. Evil things, on the other hand, I don't mind seeing die."

Right as she accessed the mainframe, there were skittering sounds coming in from all around. Shinzuu cursed under his breath and sheathed his Kabar and took out his MP7 with that hand. "I welcome the brace with death, but I never have anything in mind but to win. You better make that shit faster because we got company..."

*the screen blinks again and then elizabeth quickly stashes it back into her bag and jams her helmet back on to her head.* "done!" *she slips on her bag and draws her pistols.*

Phantom, hearing the noise, draws his pistols and keeps his knife loose in its holster.
"Here they come!" he screeched as more creatures came into the room. He fired at the horde, making sure each bullet counted.

"Copy that." i said over the radio. I then walked over to the computer. "Okay guys, keep an eye on your 6, 12, even your 13." I said as i sat in front of the computer. After as breaking in, we started hearing bullets off in the distance. "Crap. I just need 1 more minute to put this on my flash drive, i'll look at it later." after getting the data, i remove the drive. "Alright, lets go assist -" just then, the power in the lab shut down. Then fluttering noises were heard in the vents, I pulled out my rifle as the noises keep getting louder. "Shin! Be careful. There is something in the vents." I said over the radio as i pointed my gun to one of the vents.

Shinzuu squelched his mic, "No shit, but we have our own problems right now!" He fired off another triple tap to kill another critter that got close and jumped at him. He then turned his MP7 to the door and let out a hail of bullets to keep the ones trying to squeeze in at bay. However, as it finished emptying, he was pounced from above as another came from the vent above.

Elizabeth shoots the creature pouncing on Shinzuu four times twice in the head and twice where she think the heart is "Commence visual map upload! Shinzuu, there is a map of the entire place uploading into the visual visor system." she puts her pistols away and starts slashing with her knives. though its more dangerous it saves bullets.

*max shouldered his rifle and slid onto a bench with his back against the wall, checking the clip in both his rifle and his pistol before making sure everything else was working, not looking away from the doorways and vents for any longer than he had to* we should get moving as soon as we can, this place isn't going to ast long if they attack in force.

Shinzuu gave a thumbs up as Elizabeth got the creature off his back, but he scoffed at the next thing she said. "You obviously forgot who had the map to bring your ass here to begin with." He pulled a couple of flash bangs from his vest and tossed on in the vent, and one out the door. "Flash!" He popped the rest of his Barretta's clip into a couple that were heading for them and covered his eyes. The flashes dazed the creatures for a little, "Let's get the (censored) out of here!" He bolted right at the door and jumped over the creatures.

There was a bang that echoed im the vents. What ever it was, it caused a dim light which seemed to p*** off the monsters in the vents. The vents blew open and seemed like 1000 of these bat like things came rushing out. They were going crazy. They flew into anything, and every one. I pulled out a c4 chage, and set a timer for 5 seconds. Everyone out! I yelled then armed, and tossed the charge.

*max got up and bolted, not bothering to waste ammo on the mass of bats, getting out of the room and droping to one knee aiming back into the lab, switching his rifle to single fire and shooting any of the creatures that came to close, waiting for the rest of the team, soon realizing he went through a differant doorway and was, for the time being, on his own*

"Roger!" Phantom yelled. Holstering his pistols, he drew his dagger, then pressed the secret button on his glove that ejected his hidden blade. Grinning, he rushed through the crowd of monsters, hacking at them as he followed his teammates.

The c4 exploded. Throwing junk everywere. A bat thing hit the floor in front of me. I noticed it was a little cute when it was'nt trying to kill us. It then got up. "OH S***" i said and i hit it with the but of my gun. It hit the floor and died. I then noticed about 60 or so other bat things that survived the c4, get up and then they flew back into the vents. The lights in the lab came back on. There was debree every were. But what scared me, was i only counted About 10 dead bat things. And even though i used c4, the dead bats were still in one peace. Just dead. "Damn. They can take damage."
