Title: 3D Furs by Curbcat
Post by: curbcat on February 27, 2012, 08:20:45 PM
Here is the first test images of some steampunk furs I created today.  The first image is of little Vana, a novice Machina Mage, she uses Magic Balls, a small techno device, to cast spells with.  The second image is of some of her friends.

Left to Right
Stephen - A friendly solider
Vana
Nixa - A novice Machina Mage from another school
Cors - a mercenary pilot

The background is a free prop I got a while back, an old french village.  Stephen's electro rifle and Cors's pistol and assault rifle are from a really great multi piece steam rifle construction set and electro rifle addon set.

Here is another set I did a while back, when I was trying to 3D toon fan art.  It was difficult as to match a toon color to a 3D toon figure.

That being said, here is a version of a certain Tuff kitten and some new friends.  Hope you enjoy.

I have to be honest, I'm not sure what you mean by for use in the source engine.  I've been learning Poser on the fly for a while now, learning a bit more with each render.  One day, I'll even try short animations...those can be massively time consuming.

That's a bit outside my current skill set.  I'll see if I can look up info on how to do that...but not sure if I'll be able to anytime in the near future.

Here is the female size chart.

These are basic species sizes, that's not to say there arn't petite bears or tall buxom bunnies or mice.  These are just the general sizes per species.  The only species that match the bear for height are the predator cats, the tigers and cougars.  Foxes match cats for size, racoons are just between mouse and cat.

Here is a fun pic, Bunny Croft - Tomb Raider

And a pic of a pair using the size chart, a pair of steampunk mercs, a bunny with an anti-material rifle and a bear with a steampunk gatling gun!
