I need someone who is good at making very very cute art with pretty soft shading and colors. I tried to draw a kitty chibi for myself and well I suck at it :( I want something cute for my best friend...I have the idea I just can't get it on paper, or computer, or...well you get the idea. Please help ^_^

Well where to start... ok I'll start with a reference pic

I just love the picture here but of course it's only a reference but it has the feel and shape I would like to see.
I guess I will start with colors first... The characters in the pic above are a kitty and a ferret. I'd like to see the kitty as a puppy and the ferret as a kitty. The kitty will have my colors seen below

I would like them to both be hugging each other instead of one just hugging the other but I'm not terribly picky on that point. I would really like a computer drawing with all the soft shading and stuff but the crayon is super cute as well. I'm printing this out to frame and give to my bestie on her birthday so it has to be big enough to be clear when being fit to a frame. I'm very very excited to see how it turns out!
