Title: The Search for a New Tail
Post by: on February 10, 2012, 04:39:44 AM
I'm looking for a new tail to replace my older and cheaper one since I recently learned that my mom probably isn't searching my packages anymore. I need one that's really floofy and comfy and my price range is $20-40. I don't know where to start my search though! anyone able to help me out?

Well, I have some canine/vulpine type tails left over from Rainfurrest.  I've been asking $40 for 'em.   Although I'd have to dig out the box and see what colors I actually still have.  I know I have the rust one near the middle, but I'm not sure about the rest.

If those don't suit you, you could try asking on the fursuitauctions livejournal, lots of people there selling things and taking commissions.  (I take tail commissions too, but I'm full up for several months right now.)

Well, those are hardly my first. :)  I've been making tails for about eight years now.

Several different kinds of faux fur.  A lot of them in that pic are www.disctinctivefabric.com (http://www.disctinctivefabric.com) long pile fur, but there's also Montery Mills fox fur, and a few things I picked up off ebay or locally.  I'm always buying good looking furs when I run into them.
