Hi yall! I'm Houshou. Out of most rodents I'm one of 3 other Flying Squirrels I've met.
Houshou Rattengod (My fursonas full name) was born in Feb. 2008 at FWA (my first con). That is when I truly joined the fandom. Didn't know what a Furry was till shortly before then, but found I enjoyed Anthro-Art and comics a lot more than others. Although ignorant to the world of Furry, my first taste of the fandom came from a very erotic comic called Shayla the Pink Mouse. Eventually Houshou was created and its been a blast!
Houshou Rattengod is the Angel of Death. He rarely takes pleasure in his duties. Having loved and lost himself prior to his Angelic Ascension. So when he's taking a life from this world he only smiles when the person has lived a long time and the death was expected. Taking lives in tragic accidents or in sickness before they had a chance to live peaves him sullen and moody. Often falling prey to bouts of depression. But he has an evil side. His evil side wants to bring about the end of the world and struggles against it in a constant internal battle. When he's hot on the trail of someone who has evaded his fate more than once, or if the person is extremely evil or vile. He'll let his own anger and evil out to begin the souls descension into hell, before the body is dead. So that the memory of he physical pain is still present for all eternity in the soul.
Normally his fur is a deep brown with a slightly lighter brown for his chest, inner arms/thighs, and neck. His flying membrane starts at his elbows and extends to his ankles. He has several markings all done in a vivid but dark blue. Starting with 3 stripes on his body. One starts at the tip of his nose and runs up and over his head down the center of his back and all the way to the tip of his tail. In the middle of his forehead it splits into an "O". Around each eye appears to be a marking that looks similR to the Eye of Ra. Wih the tip of the marking ending at the base of his head. Directly below that a stripe stars on his shoulders and extends straight down to the base of his tail. Lastly on each forearm and calf-leg is 3 rings ending at the wrist/ankle. His eyes speak terror and understanding all in one with their black eyes and red iris's (Gambit Eyes).
When doning his Angelic Black Robes his membranes disappear and he sprouts black feathered wings.
Lastly he has control over his physical size, though always proportional. (meaning while he can make his arm longer, the rest of him grows the same length at the same time). This ability was given so he could perform his duties for all creatures of all sizes. However, he prefers to stay around 68"in. tall. Though he has on occassion lost control and shrunk down to the size of a normal squirrel and been stuck there, for an unknown amount of time.

I dabble in a lot things. But my biggest hobbies are:
Video Game Collector
- I have a large video game collection ranging from the NES up to the PS3.
- Currently playing DC Universe (PS3), League of Legends, and Minecraft.
I would like to think of myself as an avid convention participant having gone to:
- FWA 2008
- AC 2009
- FWA 2011
- FWA 2012 (Pre-reg'd, got a room, and airfare purchased).
Lastly I'm trying to improve on my own artwork. Currently I am a Colorist. Since I can't stand my own lineart, I will color lineart drawn by others. If I see one I like, I'll request permission. But I've been debating whether or not I should start putting feelers out to see if I can make a little money for it. My FA (Houshou) and DA (houshourattengod) have examples of my ability to color.
I'm an avid DDR player and enjoy working out/exercise. But thanks to a recent knee injury Ive not played in a while.

I'm a large game collector as well!
Though, I am mainly a PC gamer, but I do have PC games ranging from 1995. So, i dunno if that's something :P
