So there's this android named Jules who I saw on YouTube, in some videos from '06...anyone know anything about him now? I can't seem to find much... Actually I suppose you could in theory transplant a brain into one, 'cept that's more in line with cybernetics.

Those are not real androids, the smartest AIs can't do what they seemingly did many years ago. It's just preprogrammed talk.

Jules and Joey Chaos are conversational robots. It's their primary function to speak, it works a bit like cleverbot. (http://cleverbot.com/) I still understand your doubts, though. :3

Well obviously its not a real android in the strictest sense. I doubt we'll get to that point any time soon, if ever.
But it's a step forward, a little one, but it's something.
