mine has to be either steelport from saints row 3 or clock town from majoras mask
whats yours?...and if you have the time give us a quick description on what its like and why you like it
Ie.. i like steelport because its full of crazy random game show's and many other random thing's (attack of the random giant steel ball FTW) and how at the end it gains independence as a city state ruled by a gang which is quite a shocking ending.

Ankh-Morpork. There's every kind of people there. Including furry-like ones, like werewolves and Nobby.
-
Ah yes, Ankh-Morpork; the Big Wahoonie, with its Unseen University and many little crooked streets.
I did like how Arkham City was made but from a game- and graphics perspective. Gotham sounds interesting but a terrible place to live.
There are so many cool places in the Tomba games such as Dwarf Village and Circus Town... and then there's the Exodar in World of Warcraft that has a special meaning to me. It's just a giant space ship underground after crashing but it counts as a city. And then there's the settlement where the Mulefa live in Amber Spyglass. Mots of things happened there that I see as quite important, to say the least. Oh, there are so many.

The Citadel and Omega from Mass Effect.
Burramudgee from Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2
Cochinay from Red Dead Redemption
New Vegas from Fallout: New Vegas

New vegas from fall out new vegas the whole area was very intriging
The soul society from bleach just one huge training ground and a furry soul reaper
ATLANTIS highly developed society and who knows what was there
-
Skyrim. It's a beautiful place and IMO, should be considered a work of art, because it really is just stunning :)
-
The Forbidden Land from Shadow of the Colossus.
I mean, just look at it. It's so pretty! :P
Shadow of the Colossus HD: Intro Cinematic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRnIRjV1-Ow#ws)
Though if it has to specifically be a "city or town", I suppose I'd go with either Ordon Village or Castle Town from Zelda. They seem like peaceful or fun places to be.
-
i like alegaesia from eragon
-
I think Walmington-on-Sea from Dad's Army.

I think its called Backreach from Skyrim its a huge cave with a dwarven city in it

Basin City, from the Sin City graphic novel series. I've always liked the noir-ish art style of the series, and how it complements the various characters and their narratives. Sometimes, when I'm bored, I wish real life had the option to switch from "regular filter" to "Sin City" filter :D
-
Only seen the movie of sin city :( but loved the movie quite a lot :P
My favourite fictional city or town would have to be... tranquility lane.
I mean, I wouldn't want to live there, but it's so nice and black and white and everyone's so happy, when in truth everyone is also being tortured. It's creepy but definitely interesting and probably one of the most interestingly dark places I've ever been to in a video game (this is Fallout 3)
-
Really neat places to live:
The Realm of Shadow from Saga Frontier 1 (If you haven't played this game, get an emulator and do so immediately. This game WAS my childhood xD )
Besaid from Final Fantasy 10 (isn't it just the perfect lil island in the middle of nowhere? :3 )
Fortree City in Pokemon Ruby/Emerald (Everyone lives in tree houses? YES!!!)
-
Hmm...
Rapture. Original bioshock areas the most of course but definitally rapture.
-
Shan-Gra La from Noein
-
Solace, The Tree-Top City of Palanthas. (Dragonlance; Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, and more.)
Winterfell, Seat of the Great Kings of The North and First men in Westerus. (i honestly dont know the name of the series by George R R Martin.)
Lastly, any of the Ancient Crypts in Oblivion. A vampire has need to hide from the sun.
-
i like alegaesia from eragon
But Alegaesia is the name of the country in which the series takes place. Not a city/town.

Cloudsdale, Equestria. Roman/Greek style architecture made out of clouds, with water features made of physics-defying rainbows. Yes.
