I've been looking into different tablets lately and the I've narrowed it down to the Acer Iconia a500 and the Motorola Xoom... I do have questions though that I can't seem to get answers to. :(
But anyways, here they are...
1.) I'm seeing the Motorola Xoom and the Motorola Xoom Family Edition... What's the difference other than software?
2.) What is more responsive and reliable... Acer or Motorola? I'm not saying with ALL things they make, just tablets...
Anyone have answers? I'm clueless at this point. XD

Personally when looking over a comparison here:

I think I would stick with Motorola on this one. Unless the Acer is cheaper by a significant amount. And the Family Edition is basically a Best Buy Exclusive version of the Motorola Xoom that was meant to "protect children" from accessing inappropriate apps, I would stick with the original :P

The motorola but I would recommend the samsung galaxy tab. Or sonys tablet.

Well I've looked into those too and their good, but the problem is, the tablet is going to be a gift so I'm trying to be reasonable with money.

Who are you gifting it to? Are they good with tech?
If not, get the cheaper acer.
If not, get the tab.
