I'm so hyped up for getting Battlefield 3 and a new Xbox this Christmas that I wanted to see what you guys think of the current FPS War going on. Personally I've been a Battlefield geek ever since 1942 up to Bad Company 2. I specialized in Heavy Armor and I've got over 200+ vehicle kills on my BFBC2 Profile. My favorite weapons include the 870, SV98, XM8(All variants), the M3 launcher, RPG, and the Grach.
Now I've also played a little bit of MW2 and CoD4 before and found them to be just as good as the Battlefield series. My favorite loadouts bits include Hardline, Stopping Power, Sleight of Hand, and Scavenger with a bit of Bling for good measure. For weapons I liked to use these:
Vector: Red Dot Sight+Rapid Fire
Intervention: ACOG+Heartbeat Sensor
RPD: Red Dot+Silencer
SCAR-H: Silencer+ACOG
SPAS-12: Silencer
For Killstreaks my favorites are:
-AC-130
-Predator Missile
-Care Package
-Harrier
-Pave Low

I like Battlefield more then Call of duty but they're both enjoyable games, I'm not going to subject myself to starting senseless flame wars over the two.
Battlefield 3 has got some incredible graphics, realistic sounds and visuals with really fun game modes, a huge emphasis on teamwork, and the vehicles are top-notch. The campaign (However short) was very well-done and enjoyable. I was especially glad they didn't make the Russians the bad guys this time around (At least, not entirely) because that seems to be the only story that modern shooters use anymore.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting any great big flame wars. Mostly because people are too addicted to Skyrim. For me Battlefield is the closest you can get to an actual, well, battlefield. Call of Duty is more of a refreshing Steak that you can enjoy playing without much effort. Battlefield is that succulent Lobster that you have to crack open, get at the innards, and enjoy the experience and the sheer epicness of the battles. I love the environments, from the icy pipes of Port Valdez to the dusty urban city that is Karkand; I LOVE BATTLEFIELD.
I also like CoD (pardon the otter pun), because of it's pick-up-and-play factor. It makes for an extremely entertaining party game and even if you don't contribute to the team the game won't be a total loss just as long as you have one player who can punch above their team's weight. Overall it is a relaxing, filling game that doesn't skimp on any details. And personally I'm starting to like it more and more.

Eww did someone say modern brofare I hates that game XDDD BF3 FTW~!

Yeah, CoD is okay. But I still like Battlefield better.

Did you even vote yet, Buster? When I picked -Battlefield 3 over Modern Warfare 3- I only saw one vote.
-
I voted for both because I am starting to get interested in MW3
-
I'll borrow MW3 just to see how much it sucks

My thoughts exactly.

the graphics on BF3 are EPIC!! but the gameplay sucks too much, and the multiplayer system's almost as bad as HomeFront. I give 100% to MW3.

The game play seemed pretty good to me? what system u has it for?

I gotta agree, I think the gameplay on both games is more or less love it or hate it.. I prefer the fast pace of MW3 over the big team games in BF3.. but honestly, I think I'd give the win to Crysis 2 for having great graphics and a multiplayer similar to that of CoD.
