Title: Please understand my reason for inactivity.

I'm not sure where this should go, but if it needs to be moved, please do so.

I'm going to be off the forums for about a week or so. My reasoning is as follows...

A few days ago, a friend of a friend was skateboarding down his road. A bus tried passing him, and the mirror hit him in the back of the head, knocking him out. He was taken and transferred to the Children's Hospital in Boston, Mass.

Two days later, he was taken off of life support.

Today, May 30th, 2007, he died in his coma. No one had the chance to say goodbye.

So please understand why I will be away for a while.. I knew him, but not so well.. I'm offering my support to the close ones of Oliver, while trying to convince myself this is how life is and how it can be cruel at times.

You were a sweet kid, Oliver, and those who knew and loved you certainly will not forget all you've done for us all.

Crud... if you need someone to talk to, I will try to be available as much as possible. I may be delayed or unavailable, but I will lend my ears to you if you should ever need them.

My grandfather was in a car accident about 3 years ago... he hit into a tree. The he was in intensive care and did not wake up, but his breathing stabilized... until he just passed away on a Good Friday. The Sunday that followed was April Fools ((I don't know how they came up with the Good Friday being that early, but still...)) we buried him. He was known to be a practical joker too, so we were expecting him to open the casket... unfortunately it never happened.

So I'll say my offer again, if you need someone to talk to, I'll be glad to listen.

Thank you kindly, Vosur.  As for now I'm trying to be available for those who were very close to him, but I will remember your offer, and I thank you again.

I can understand how you can hit your rocky spots in life.
It's like my whole road is unpaved here.

Thank you all so much. You're indeed a great help.

As for Oliver, I will be attending his funeral this Sunday. My mother, who works with his mother, has agreed to take me.

He was indeed an angel on earth, and I guess that the Heaven's needed him back.. He was a very sweet and sensitive boy.

Life may never be easy nor will be without bumps... but those who you share life with can enrich it and make it all worthwhile.

Heh, no problem there, ephemral.  ^_^V

As for leaving, you have all most likely seen me active. I just can't stay away from you  guys! ^^; So my hiatus has been cut rather short. I still thank you all for the help and support.

Only when it seems obscene or offensive are words to be taken out... but not to have words added in that are unnecessary. #-.-

Actually Vosur, no one has modified your posts. I realize 'flaming bag of dog doo' was in it. This is the word filter. You had typed in the word 'scr@pes.' The word filter had picked up a word within the word 'scr@pe' that was considered inappropriate. That's all.
