I've been in a room with 6 avatars at around 4-6 frames per second.
I would have a screen shot with tons of bubbles on it, but I forgot to save it.
One of the other people took a snapshot though.

I'd like to see proof, screen captures or snapshots, of your cramped chat windows.

The most I think I've had is four, including me, but I didn't take snapshots. I usually can't stand group chats. They're slow and are generally confusing if you don't know everyone there. I can't even imagine six. omg

If you're lined up it's usualy just like a normal chat room.
So long as you can clear the bubbles fast enough.
-
Unless you get a couple hyper people in there that type a million bubbles per minute. :P

Yeh, I hate that especialy when IMVU is being slow.
It doesn't have to just be slow though, it adds insult to injury and won't let the bubbles move up correctly.
When it gets slow they seem to have a mind of their own. They're like " grr I wasn't finished slowing you down yet. Ima bounce back down and stick for a while.".
