i dont know about you...but i was a STRANGE lil tyke X3...
i mean....not THAT bad, i was like most tomboyish girls. i played outside..climbed trees..brought various animals home i found..dug up worms..but there were SOME things that even i look back on and find hilarious, or...a little embarrasing

like here is one.
when i was in highschool (freshman) i pretended i was a werewolf. and i dont mean with my friends id be like "rawr imma wolf"
i was like...i suppose it was a coping mechanism, because nobody liked me, i was alwase beat up, i was a black sheep at home and school. so in my head i created this world that i was a powerful creature of the forest..that ANY time i could kick all there butts if just off a whim. and that they would all be sorry, if i were a less forgiving being. i wasnt dillusional, like...i KNEW i wasnt really one. but i PRETENDED i was. at all times. cause its not much of a fantasy if your dont halfway buy into it. at dinner time i piled on the meat..in bed id sleep in a mound of sheets in a ball like a dog would. on full moons id "fight" the urge. and id "talk" to my dogs.
looking back now it was REALY silly. but its what i did to survive, and for whatever reason it helped.
so what weird things did YOU do when you were younger. (doesnt have to be a widdle kid..it can be something even a year ago)

I did go through a dog stage when I was pretty young, my mum told me that we went to Seaworld once and I was going up to strangers and barking at them. And all that... haha, think it links to anything?
I did a lot of weird things as a kid... I had an imaginary friend that beat me up. I used to sit in my room pulling my hair and hitting myself, and pretended that it was that imaginary friend doing it. The list of things go on but I can't think of anything else... I know I was a weird child though. x3

Pretended to be a horse, all the time. In high school, my friends went through a "furry stage" where a lot of the girls wore cat ears and tails, but I wore a horse tail, and horse(ish) ears. Twas fine for me.

I used to act like a ragdoll and just go limp while walking o.o
Like, "*walk walk walk FALL ON FACE*" I don't know, but it made people laugh, so I kept doing it ><

When I was about 12 I asked my mom if she could put my food on the ground and I could act like a dog all of the next day. Then something happened that made me feel like a 'grown up' so I told my mom not to do it since it wasn't the adult thing to do. I also remember I thought my mom must have thought I was a complete idiot.

god. I cant even keep count of all the daft things I did as a kid. well actually I'm still an idiot now. I remember doing a victory lap of the house as a caterpillar because I was allowed to have a piece of cake. When I was really young me and my friends used to pretend we were characters from zelda games and we also used to have very intricate rp's that we acted out. I remember that one was about a young man that was a buisness executive that was transported to a strange and feral world, and it turned out he had an entire life there and he had been brainwashed. He had to learn the ways of the people again and fight against the people who brainwashed him, which turned out to be a coping mechanism for him when he was in a coma.
other stupid things I used to do. Sellotape metal cutlery over my body and pretend I was a magnet collector.
In primary school, we used to make cardboard swords and try to assassinate anyone that was out in the halls.
Once, when I was like 10 I think, I spent an entire day doing combat rolls everywhere, even upstairs.
ALL THE TIME I used to pretend the floor was lava/some other deadly substance and try to get across it without touching the floor.
there are others but I cant remember any at this point.

i kinda did what you did kaprika, but only in elementary school. I was the most hated kid in elementary school and middle school but i learned to internalize the fantasy in middle school.
now i'm a bit more evened out

i used to be obsessed with peeling glue off my hands. like....all during class id put it on my hands, and wait for it to dry...then peel it off slowly. id do it every day
and in the middle of the night when everyone was in bed XD
i loved the peeling sensation. eventualy wasnt allowed to own my own bottle of glue and mom made me use the sticks

My friends and I used to do roleplays. I miss those days actually. :P

Horse treats are actually really tasty, and I'm not talking apples, carrots, or sugar cubes. Most of them were made of some kind of oat/grain and molasses though so it wasn't like they weren't consumable. Yumm.

One time while riding my bike I decided to put my foot in between the front wheel and the frame to try and stop it. I stopped immediately and me and my bike went 180 and I face planted on the road. Got a scrape on my knee but I was fine otherwise. Just to reiterate. The front wheel stopped, and did not move at all while this was happening.

ooh.....i just remembered another one!!
i went through a "hatching" phase as a kid..
where i was hellbent on having my own bird pet/child thing...so i snuck into my neighbors yard and tried to sneak the duck eggs out of the bush in his driveway and hatch them...mom caught me and made me put them back.
so then i tried taking robin eggs from a nest in a tre....THAT didnt work cause they are SO FRAGILE they broke in my fingers.
and then last but not least..eggs from the fridge XD
i got up in the middle of the night (i did that alot as a kid as i had a sleep ddeficiency)
and i went in the living room with them...put them under a pillow for safety and sat on them...hahahha for like all of 15 minutes i sat wondering when the hell they were gonna hatch...when finnaly i heard a snap and happily got up thinking it worked, but they all busted on the carpet..so i left the pillow there and hurriedly went to bed

Oh, let's see...
I liked hiding in small places, especially if it was a strange place for a person to be.
I was obsessed with secret doors and rooms. Always looking for them in every family member's house, and every house I lived in. The closest two were my first house in california, where the hall closet was my nana's bedroom closet on the other side (and only I could squeeze through those boxes)...and an access to under the house from the garage in a much later house up here. I *really* wanted something better than the guided tour at the winchester house. >_>
I did pretend to be a dog sometimes. My parents would say, "Ok, no dogs at the dinner table, you have to act *normal* now".
I've always loved off-the-wall semi-relevant riddles. Jokes, based on a word based on a topic of interest, but with references thrice removed from context. I've known a few people who could keep up with those, that's always a tingly sensation.
Spinning in office chairs as fast as possible. For HOURS if not interrupted. The sideways pull on the inside of my head...the rush of speed even though it was just a chair...and the world around me becoming a meaningless blur. A wonderful distraction.
Inside forts, yes, definitely. Including couch forts, in the living room, at 2 in the morning when everyone was asleep. The nightmares couldn't get me out there. It was peaceful. And mischievous fun!
Trying to imitate the traps from Home Alone and Shipwrecked. This got me banned from watching those movies and thank goodness no one was hurt!
Pretending to be Battletoads with my best friend, with plastic baseball bats as the alien legbones. Beating up pillows.
Stacking couch cusions and pillows, climbing on top of the tower, teetering back and forth and making computer noises, as my "time machine to Endor".
Trying to convince myself that I was:
-A robot
-An alien
-A werewolf/vampire/elf
-From the future
As a self-diagnoses of my wierdness and a distraction during school. Taken to the extent of trying to convince classmates, i.e. sticking wires from an electronics kit from my wrist, into my shirt, out the collar and around to behind my ear. Or making statements about reality that sounded incredible but possibly feasable, at least to children my age.
Mimicking television and videogame characters. Coming up with backstory for how I got to this world and what I was doing pretending to be this normal kid.
Staying in the bath long after the water was cold, just to play with the texture of shriveled fingertips. Did the same with the texture on leaking balloons, or releasing air from a balloon while touching the surface.
And that's all I can think of at the moment.

That reminded me of something I used to do.
I didn't pretend I was a different person, but every time I'd watch TV or movies, for some reason I would try to mirror the people's facial expressions as I watched. I don't even remember why I started doing that, but it went on for quite a while. It was a difficult habit to break after I realized how weird I must look while watching TV, but every now and again I'll still catch myself doing it by accident.

mhh i mostly keeped to my self as a child because i was all ways got in to fights at school. so i use to draw stuff in the bathroom walls ( at school ), i vandalized the washroom when i was in grade school, told teachers off and students.... i would stay in the shaded parts of my grade school and draw out runic symbol's, and stuff like that, i even said i had k-9s and some times felines following me, sort of like spirit ones, i would talk to them and that was just at school, when i was at home i would talk about the spiert anaiamls and i would also tend to act like one( walking on all fours, barking or meowing, ( and i still tend to ...) . when i got to high school i still drew runic sumboles but this time in pencil ( the other times it was in maker ).

Anyways, I used to make forts with the sofa cousions, card board and blankets. I remember using duct tape a lot for several things, gagging myself or some odd reason, rolling around blankets, drifting on my bike, A LOT, use whatever item that looked like a gun and shoot everything.
Used to get rides from my neighbours dog, before I got too heavy. I think pee-ed on my neihgbours plants before...

one time i got angry at my big brother so I went downstairs and filled up a huge cup of water, then I went into his room and threw it at him. then I ran like hell.

I'm not sure if this is weird or not, but when I was younger back in middle school I would always sneak out at night and sleep in a tent off in the woods. EVERY night all throughout middle school, on through rain and snow. One morning I woke up and apparently it had rained while I slept. Even better it was well below freezing that night. And to top it off the tent I was in turned out not to be water proof. So I woke up with my sleeping bag covered in a layer of ice D:
Back in the day I use to follow the train tracks miles off into the country side just to see what was out there.
I've always had a passion for planes, so I often went to the airport and laid in the fields to watch the planes fly around.
In elementary school I had the most wild imagination ever. I had an imaginary friend called egg head who I really do miss :( Also, I used some school utensils as imaginary friends :P During recess I had created this imaginary world in a digital realm and me and my friends would pretend we were in it. If we ever got in trouble we'd be made to sit on a line on the black top all recess, and during the winter when it was cold I would put my whole body inside my coat (I asked mom to buy me very large coats for this reason) and do homework in the warm and out of the wind.
A very long time ago I found a secluded place out in the woods and made a shelter out of sticks and leaves. I'd bring trash out there, like thrown away wood planks, to fortify it. Thinking back..... I may have always known I was gay. I remember now me and a boy a I really liked use to hang out alone there in the woods. That's where I had my first kiss :$
This is bringing back so many memories. The more I think, the more that comes back to me! I'll get back to you later, I know I've done weirder things as a kid.

I remember breaking into a small airport lending zone one tie, saw planes fly And land. I think I caused a plane to reland because they saw me there and tied to avoid me or something. I was like on th landing strip :)
By then, I left.
I remember on time, some family member and their daughter came to my house with their dog. Me, that girland the Goldie dog went to the basement and we played around. I w playing with my car. The girl was probably 4 years older than I was. So she took the collar off the dog and quickly wraped the collar around my neck, then tightened it. I was like screaming. At the time I didnt know how to take it off because it was a leather collar, then she put the leash on and then dragged me around the floor. She was like, your a dog now! ROLL OVER! Yeah, it was pretty weird and stuff. I remembered that when I was chillin with my collar in the basment not too long ago. I think she moved.
I was able to take the leash off, then I ran upstairs to my room. By then, I tried to take it off by loosening the buckle strap. It took me half an hour to take it off. When I did, I think I hid it somewhere in my badroom and went back downstairs with a plastic sword of some sort, or maybe it was a baseball bat. Either way I hit her a few times.
I dont think I still have the collar anywhere, I think my mom found it and returned it. I think I was like 7 at the time....
another thing was that I loved to make a mess when I left a restaurant. Like spill all of the tea everywhere when no one was looking.

I used to be so into The Land Before Time I would pretend that Littlefoot and company were my friends, and I was a friendly Tyrannosaurus Rex (or to provide some moderate fanservice, a Sharptooth) that had known them for a while. It was a bit more than just imaginary friends, I actually believed they were real for a few weeks there; thankfully that information never left my house, as I never told anyone but my parents.
And in first grade or so, I was a prolific watcher of The Powerpuff Girls, and I had just gotten done watching the episode about "The Leech" that went around taking bites out of people's skulls and take their memories and such. I seriously could not sleep, because that thing freaked me out so much. But when I finally did fall asleep, I had an equally freaky dream; a little red fuzzball would follow me around. This fuzzball, as it spent time around people, got bigger. It didn't grow much larger than a basketball, however. The people it would spend time around, though, would disappear oddly. I was really left in the dark as to what might be happening. But further along in the dream, I ran across a small house. There was a light on inside, and a guy coddling some pink ball. He was showering it with all sorts of affection. But when he turned to look at me, the pink ball opened up a huge mouth lined with crazy sharp teeth. It lunged forward, and before I could blink, the guy only had a bloody stump of his neck left. I looked where that fuzzball had been, and only saw the same pink ball; it jumped at me and the dream ended. I ran out of my room crying and slept in the living room, holding onto my Shar Pei, Veruca. That sweet little dog actually acted like a matriarch and kind of protected me. (Too bad my mother sold her. T_T)

Also, I had a habit of bringing various insects home. And I also liked to act like a cat xD
And I used to sleep on the floor although I don't do that anymore cause I hate the feel of carpets. Oh, and I just remembered that I used to eat play-doh. o.O

I actually had a pretty normal childhood. Never had an affinity for camming things into my mouth, never slept in odd places, didn't pretend any more than the next guy, never got into odd situations at school. Nope. Pre-ty average.

As far as the peeling glue thing, I used to.....eat....glue. The clear blue elmers kind tasted really really good, okay!? >.>
Other things I did were like the other games all kids played, lava floor, tent building, and I used to play how long can I keep this balloon from hitting the ground game. Other than that I played with my toy horses. I had a CHEST full of them, like a HUGE bin of plastic horses. They all had their own names, personalities, and were certain parts of different herds. I always thought the lead mare was the prettiest one I had. I can't remember what her name was, but I remember exactly what she looked like. They would have their own little epic story lines every night when I got home. When my Mom gt rid of all of my horses I was really REALLY infuriated with her, because I didn't know she was doing it, and I came home one day and they were just....gone.
That's when I moved on to video games, like Sonic, and Tiny Toons on the Sega Genesis. Yeah I had the other gaming systems but those were the games I played the most out of all of them, until the N64 arrived and I played games like Banjo and Kazooie, Donkey Kong, Hey You, Pikachu!, Mario Kart (I only ever played as Yoshi, and still only ever play as Yoshi.), then the playstation when I began my love for Dragons and Spyro the Dragon. :*

i can honestly say that having toy horses was the ONLY girly thing i ever did as a kid.
i was such aboy growing up. climbing trees, playing in the mud, wrestiling with the other boys, catching bugs. i HATED barbies and dresses.
but i freakn loved my lil pony to death

Oh I did that stuff too. Catching frogs in ditches, mudpies were the best, and of course I had to keep up with the boys when I got older and did BMX for a little while until I cracked my chin on my handle bars after landing a jump wrong, and broke my bike. Parental's wouldn't buy me another one. :/
