This isn't a recipe, but rather a really easy and simple trick I use. If you're like me, and don't really care for cookies that are hard or crunchy, all you need to do is stick the cookies in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds. VIOLA. Warm, soft cookies that taste like they're fresh out of the oven. Just be careful not to overcook them in the microwave. :P
This even works for store-bought cookies too. It makes them about a million times better. XD

hmmm, thats a good idea! what my grandma always does is she puts a slice of bread in with the container of cookies. Since the bread is softer, it dries out first and the cookies stay soft alot longer than normal. not 100% sure how it works, but it seems to work pretty well anyway.

I suppose the bread would keep the air in the jar moist and thus slow down the process for the cookies. Remember that drying up is water evaporating.
It's a good idea though, both of those above. Works especially well with chocolate chips I bet.
