Don't wear 3D glasses unless you're watching a screen or image that requires them. It overstimulates your nerves.

Yeeaaahhhh don't wear 3D glasses unless you're watching a 3D movie. The red/blue ones especially mess up your eyes.
Sure they look cool, but it won't be very cool when you damage your eyes.
It should go away after a while, but yeah, don't wear them for too long again in the future.

^ What they said.

When your eyes are exposed to that kind of thing for too long, the parts of your eyes that pick up the red and blue colors respectively get fatigued, so when you take off your glasses, you see the "negative" (inverse or opposite) of that color. The inverse of red is blue, and the inverse of blue is red. So when your eye is exposed for red for a period of time, when you take the red away, you see blue - and vice versa. That's why you're seeing the colors in reverse.

As the others said, it should go away after a while, but it really is not healthy for your eyes to be wearing the 3D glasses for prolonged periods of time.

And this is why there are warnings on everything! (Or should be, apparently.)

Again, Zeph manages to make things sound much cooler than I. :P

When one wears 3d glasses when not nessecery after a while your brain alters the colours so its easier to see but once you take them off it looks all screwy. After awhile it go away (I hope)

^Not a screamer, I promise.^
It's the exact same thing that you see here, only your eyes have been exposed to the colours for so long that it takes a while for your nerves to adapt and go back to normal.

you shouldnt wear them elsewhere, they are not sunglasses or anything. the warning label even says to not wear them anywhere else
