Title: Anyone played Wolf Quest?
Post by: Kittie on July 15, 2011, 03:32:48 AM
I just found this online game...not sure it fits here but anyhoo. It's called wolf quest and you basically live as a wolf in the wild and I was wondering if anyone had heard of it or had any chance to play it...I don't want to download it if it'll end up not being good for my computer. I've already downloaded a game called Horse Star where you have a horse and you ride around in a massive multiplayer world. This wolf game sounds pretty similar but more like being a wild wolf as apposed to being a human owning a horse. Does anyone know anything about it?

My friend Hillary whom is also a furry asked me if I've played the game before and she had nothing but good things to say about it. She wanted me to start an account a while back. I wished she was a little more detailed on what it actually was though :/

well from what I can gather it's pretty awesome, you live like a wolf...you know hunting a stuff and in the multiplayer version you can get a mate and start a den  X3

I only ever played Episode 1: Amethyst Mountain. It was pretty cool, and I enjoyed it - but - it was kind of short-lived enjoyment.

The idea is really cool, and the game was well made, no doubt about it. The customization of the wolves is pretty nice in particular. Only problem was, it gave you a couple of goals to achieve, and then... that was it. >.> There wasn't anything else to do unless you wanted to just run around killing elk over and over. So it amused me for maybe an hour, and then I got bored and stopped playing.

There's probably more to do now that they have the second episode available plus the multiplayer thing (neither of which were available when I first found the game), so I'd say it's worth a try.

I'm not 100% sure whether I have enough Memory on my computer but if I do I will definitely try it :)
