Title: Would this be confusing?

I like to mix things up on a regular basis...this may explain the four fursonas  o.O anyhoo I was thinking of changing to my favorite fursona...see my profile pic :) He's a golden/german shepherd cross, I just feel so strongly connected to him. Would this confuse people or anything? Also can you change your user name or would that be even more confusing!? PS: original art here folks  :D I finally finally captured his essence on paper yay!

Well I don't feel it would be extremely confusing. Perhaps writing that you changed your fursona in your signature people will eventually catch on.

You can change your display name if you wish, by going to Profile > Account Related Settings.

It's possible to change your fursona, name, information and all that - but yes, it can be confusing. This can mostly be fixed though by putting text somewhere in your profile (such as the Personal Text below your avatar, or in your signature) that says something like "Previously known as Lupusfelina".

Thanks Zeph, ever since I joined I wasn't really sure which fursona I wanted to use but now that I have switched I feel a lot better...I have put the aforementioned information into my siggy in the hopes of reducing confusion as much as possible.

No problem. It's happened before with other people, I'm sure the other forum members can get used to it. :P
