If you vote yes, where would you get it?
-
I hate needles, so no tattoos of any kind for me. Besides, if I wanted an artistic representation of my fursona, I'd commission something that I could hang on the wall. Which I've already done. :)
-
I say yes because tatoos are something I've always wanted... And my fursona would be a great first start as it would respresents truely who I am plus the fact that my fursona is so cute =3 And it's another way to show my furryness to the world =D

Several ideas in mind.
Shoulder.(only fursona tattoo)
Upper back.
Maybe A spinal.
Right Wrist( mini sleeve)
Back of my neck.
The other 4 would mostly be other stuff that comes to mind.
I would want most of em in black and white Not a huge fan of colored tattoo's.
-
I'm still at the final stage of healing one tattoo and they do cost a lot so I can't get another for quite some time.
But if I were to get one, it would NOT be a portrait, it would NOT EVER be any sort of tribal and it would not be a classic furdom tattoo.
One idea is to shave off some of the hair in my neck and tattoo a few small, not so visible leopard rosettes that narrow down from my hairline to my neck and an inch or two between my shoulder blades. As the hair grows back, it would be partially hidden and look as if it's spread from my head and down.
-
I'd get one of Aurelis in feral form, cause a cagon would look alot better as a tattoo than my main fursona Dander. It would probably be on my back so it could be large enough to have more detail. She'd be perched on a rocky ledge with her wings open.

No to fursona tat

Ive seen lots of people do that before, it looks pretty badass :D
-
I would probably get a celtic knot on my left shoulder just like my fursona has. :)
-
i wouldn't get tattoo, they fade as you age and the ink dosnt stay in the same place as your cells divide. the more complex the tattoo the faster it blues. pulse my fursona has markings on his face under his eyes, it wouldn't look to good on me but i love how it looks on him.

Wow, I must be a derp. Because I have one of mine already.
Well, kind of.
-
oooh...pics of it?

The picture is kind of crappy because I took it with my cell phone and I couldn't get it straight on (it's on the back of my right shoulder). It looks better head on (but since it's from the side it looks a little warped). It actually needs to be touched up. The guy who did it didn't do a very good job on it. I plan to get it covered or fixed soon.

I totally agree here =3

I agree, that looks awesome!

I'm just getting over a terror of needles. But if I could get over it completely and had the money I'd love to get a tattoo of a robot dog on my arm.
-
Thanks all. c:

he he ^-^ You're welcome :3

i hav sensitive skin so no, i wouldnt tattoo anything...
-
If I ever chose to have my fursona tattooed upon me, I would make it highly visible, like maybe along my arm, and have the words FURRY PRIDE below it.
-
I don't think I'd be able to get over my fear of needles or buzzy sounds long enough to get anything tattooed on me.
But if anything, it'd be a tribal jackal on my shoulder blade.
I've already done some henna tattoos, I'm still working on the tribal style though.

Sweet. I've been wanting to try henna tattoos to make a little money, and maybe do one for myself of my fursona, without having to use needles. Is henna expensive?
-
No, not as far as I've seen.
Like I've seen 4-8 good sized bottles of it from $6-20 on Ebay.
But you know what else you can do?
You can also get the spray tan stuff (A darker color than your skin tone) make a stencil out of some heavy paper/light cardboard and use the stencil to make the design on your skin. And you can also make cool airbrush gradients if you use more than one color. :)
(And you should use the brown henna and not the black, because the black has unnatural dye in it and may make you break out)

Henna's pretty cool an inexpensive. <3
I have a tattoo on my right ankle of a stoat leaping. <3 My best friend did it for me in her kitchen. XD
-
Thanks for the advice. :D
-
I sure would. That would be like the coolest thing ever!
-
i would get one but my mom will freak she hates tattoos
