Any cool gothers who watched invader zim before it became a fad, liked hot topic when it used to be cool and listens to the coolest underground music? ^^

I've never seen Invader Zim, never been in a Hot Topic store and I don't listen to underground music.
So if those are the criteria... :/

Lol no its not x3 just wuz giving out some random things. There are many things that can make a person goth.

If you ever find a thread in the wrong place, please use the "Report to moderator" button to let us know so it can be moved. Reports are noticed a lot sooner than just talking about it in the thread, and regular forum members can't move threads on their own anyway.

Then I guess the question is, what a goth qualifies as.
The reason I'm asking, is that a closer definition will affect my answer to the thread.

Although admitteldy I have been titled with a goth label many a time .-.
But really, I've also gotten serial killer, so I cant attest to the accuracy of my peers on these subjects.

mehh! ferget it x/ if you think yer goth, contribute. Ive been called serial killer too. Freak, emo, shadow person and goth a thousand times. im not into labels but it best describes what im asking :x

I agree with this.
I have for years dyed my hair black, although recently it has gradually turned a dark and redish shade of purple. I only wear blacks and grays with the occasional purple detail to make things interesting. I also wear 10 piercings and I listen to the more manly sort of metal there is, and by that, I mean power metal.
Take it as you will, my fursona is more colourful physically than I am.

what type of music would count as goth ?

Death Metal, I can see as one. Lots of dark lyrics, hard beats or eerie sounds; I guess anything with that could be considered "goth music" in its own merit. Dark Ambience is a definite Goth thing; and Marilyn Manson's music strikes all as Goth.
Now with that out of the way, no. I am not a Goth per se; but aspects of the style keep me interested. Black goes with almost anything, Metal is the best damned music around, Dark Ambience helps me to sleep, I'd love to have my room painted either black or navy, and night is my favorite time of day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that only makes me psuedo-Goth; due to my tendency to wear white and blue, as well as my generally chipper personality and such.

I fit goth by a lot of definitions, but at the same time I fit a lot of things seen as non-gothic. I love gothic style and stuff and sometimes I'll classify myself as a goth but I fit way too many things to classify myself as one thing. :p
