Raven, here are some boards to help you get started.
http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?board=70.0 Thats the training rp board. you can go there to practice role playing.
http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?board=4.0 That is the art board. at the top there is the requests board if you want to try and get a free drawing of your fursona, otherwise theres the for sale/trade/free board for if you want to pay or find someone offering free art.
http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?action=rules Finally the rules page. We want you to have fun here but we cant have you running around tearing the place apart  :P
