Hi!

I'm new to the forum, and new to the fandom in general. My name is Grisli, and I'm a bear. I've always liked bears, and I've always been able to identify with them. I'm having a bear painted on my goalie mask actually. I'm not sure how well I'm going to fit in yet. I like the idea of role-playing, but I'm pretty new to it. Mainly, I'm here because everyone seems so darn friendly. My fursona is still in the works, at best, so you'll have to forgive me if I break character or switch my styles up hereafter. In RL, my name is Jake, I'm 20, a writer and a college student. When I move from lurking to creating, my focus is more than likely going to be my strong suit, writing, cause God knows I can't draw worth crap.

So uhhh yeah. That's me. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone.

I only know one other bear on the forums so it's nice to see another one hehe. ^_^

Haha, I like this :-)

When I'm working, I write informative articles on a variety of topics, but my specialties are generally, you guessed it, animals. In my free time, however, I write fiction short-stories and am also working on a novel. I may have just found a new niche in the fandom to write to though. :-)

You are all so welcoming to this grizzled and scarred grizzly, Grisli. I appreciate it and can't wait to get to know you all better. If only I had started appreciating this lifestyle sooner! Anthrocon is 15 minutes away from me, practically in my back yard this weekend.
