The light rail sped along placidly, quiet but for an occasional clink of the train against the electric rail, on its way to Faye from Dee. Far, far above the ground, the rail platform was almost but not quite dwarfed by the dense trees of the forest around it, their needled tops brushing up against its edge and waving in the breeze the train created. It was nighttime, and the gentle sereneness of the land was obvious, harmonic even when shadowed by such a horror as the Nazi party. Beasts howled in the thick woods. Stars twinkled in a darkest blue night sky. In the summer wind drifting through the open windows of the train, one could smell the musky tinge of needles from the giant pines. The three pastel white moons, huge and soft, hung over the top of the forest.

In a lonely booth of the train, her face shadowed in some places by the darkness of that particular car yet also highlighted in others by the moonlight, was Katie Avani. Not only the youngest President of Propaganda ever, she was also the only woman working in Nazi Party politics. A glass of white champagne glittered in her hand and her tail twitched. On her skinny, tall and demure body she wore the usual grey business suit. She was alone in this car of the train, save for her body guards holed up in another booth a few rows away.

She stirred her drink with a finger, thinking. The train rail made a loud click. She was on her way to a new assignment, something she had not been told about. This made Katie nervous in her own, eccentric way of being nervous.

A deep breath and thought later…her hologram reader, laid out on the table in front of her, started to glow and project a new hologram message, reading: URGENT.

***

The sounds of running feet and a mournfully wailing alarm could be heard in the mountain foot hills thirty miles north of Faye. A young boy as fit as a warrior yet as starved as a prisoner burst through underbrush that scratched at his bare arms. Behind him, keeping up with her small hand locked immovably in his to the point her claws bit at his palm, was a much younger little girl, only about six. Her big fluffy tail was full of prickles from the brush, her knees just below the rim of her pastel green hospital gown scraped from repeated falls. But no matter how many times she fell, her boy companion would keep his hand locked in hers and help her up again as quickly as he could. For time was of the essence.

Should they fall behind in this escape, even a few minutes, it could all be lost, for no amount of training could teach one to dodge unseen assailants and tranquilizer darts.

The boy, named Atreyu, glanced over his shoulder…nothing but forest. The laboratory they had left, and all its fences, was several hills behind them now yet the alarm somehow still as loud in their ears. The girl, named Moonchild by parents who had once hoped for her stardom, lagged along behind him as fast as such a young small child could, but now she limped and staggered more often, her breathing grew heavier. A stuffed pink sheep was held fast in her free hand.

The squirrel hybrid girl fell into the boy, stopping him. “Please…I can’t run…….n-no run no more….” Her calves ached beyond belief, her snow white fur, now gleaming in the moonlight falling between the tree branches, was matted and pulled at.

The boy, a yellow-ish lion cub about age eleven, turned and took her up in his arms. His blue eyes were wide with apprehension, his fur on end, from worry, and from guilt about the poor child following him. He knitted his eyebrows together. “It’s going to be alright. If you can’t run, I’ll carry you,” he promised, and picked her up. Her head sunk neatly into the crook of  his shoulder and he supported her thighs and bottom against his chest with strong arms as her much tinier arms clasped around his neck.

The children continued on their merry way, hoping the night would continue to shroud them from those they knew desperately wanted their Moonchild back…for in their eyes, she was the key to immortality science had only dreamed about.

True stood on a cold concrete walkway in the garden area of a mental institute a few miles North of Dee. It was fairly far from civilization so it could be a "Tranquil" environment. The facility was rather large, it looked more like a prison and felt similar. True was locked up in a padded cell for days at a time it felt like. He lost track of time all the time. Tonight he earned a nightly stroll in the garden. It was probably the better part of the facility. It was filled with various plants, with a nice skylight above which let in the moon light. True was standing there, arms wrapped around himself as if his straight jacket was fastened. It wasn't, but he was so used to it so it often went right over his head that he wasn't restrained. He was quite small in size, it was hard to some to tell how old he was since you could only see his face. He was a kid, only fifteen. Someone was standing a few feet from him as he stood there in the moonlight just looking to the sky. It was a black furred wolf, sporting a black business suit. He was standing idly by just watching True as he normally did. "How long are you going to stand like that, True?" asked the wolf. His voice was deep and stern, almost like a father's voice.

True stretched out his arms when he finished speak. A little under a foot of his sleeves were hanging over his paws hiding them in his straight jacket. "Iunno." he shrugged. His voice was a much higher tone, like a child. He dropped his hands to his side, the clasps on his jacket clattering against his body. He spun around suddenly, a couple revolutions later he stopped; facing the wolf. "Can I have some pudding, Jerry?!" True asked innocently. His face lit up trying to seem cute and use his child-like charm. The wolf put his paw to his face and rubbed his temples. "I suppose...only this once. Since you have been behaving lat-" "Yay!" interrupted True before doing a cartwheel towards Jerry. "...Let's get going then...After wards you have to return to your room." continued Jerry. True sped in passed Jerry and started walking to a set of double at the end of the walkway. Jerry quickly followed suit, not being more than a couple feet away from him.

Meanwhile two cars ahead of Katie...

Dante sat alone in his booth of the train nodding off. He was wearing his tan cloak as he usually did to remain off the radars of people. He went for the look of a commoner often, not particularly wanting to stick out. It also helped to conceal his weapons. He had recently stowed away on a train, unfortunately going the wrong way; which wound him up in Faye. He did not particularly want to be there considered he would be surrounded by the "Evil". He wanted to merely wander more, away from the SSNP, not wanting to have to deal with the war. Dante didn't particularly care much for it and tried to avoid it not being able to stand the deaths that would come with it. Cyrus, a black and white striped ferret, was perched on an arm rest to see out the window of the train. Though soon he grew bored with it and scampered over to Dante to annoy him in attempts to entertain himself. Dante looked over at him as he made his way up his cloak onto his shoulder. They looked at each other intently for a moment. "What?" Dante asked flatly. Cyrus jumped from his shoulder to the ground and made his way to the door of the booth. "Don't do it...you're not getting out." Dante said sternly looking at Cyrus shaking his head. Cyrus then jumped into the seat across from Dante where his bag was at and squeezed inside. Moments later he came back out pulling a bag a little ways out of the bag. It was a bag of sunflower seeds. "Are you hungry?" Dante questioned standing up. He grabbed the bag, with Cyrus still holding onto it with his teeth and sat back down. He opened it and took out a small handful and set it in the seat. Cyrus began to eat them quietly being satisfied with himself.

Fire burned in an old steel barrel, dark oily flames flickering and sending shadows dancing across the damp walls of the warehouse. Close to, silhouettes huddled around the warmth and a low murmur of private conversation filled the cold air.

“We can give you food, water, even gold if you are so inclined.” The wolf glanced up from his long stare into the heart of the fire, sharp canines glinting in the firelight. Old scars ran raked patterns across his face and his ears hung ragged and limp. He spat into the fire, the gesture sizzling away “So, what do you say?”

A hooded wildcat, his features set into dark shadow, returned the gaze of the five others and drew in a long breath. Deep inside the barrel the fire collapsed in on itself, accompanying plume of cinders rising in a swirling eddy. This brief flare of light pushed back the shadows around the small group before the darkness enveloped them once more.

Kittrevsky scratched his chin, whiskers twitching as he contemplated his answer “Your deal seems fair enough. You can rely on me to make the kill.” Turning his green eyes directly to the wolf, the cat tapped a clawed thumb against the smooth stock of his rifle “I do not want payment; the only requirement is that I work alone.”

The wolf’s grizzled and scarred face twisted into a wide grin and he tugged at the muddied lapels of his jacket “Very well, it is an honour to have you fighting by our side.” He spoke suddenly louder than before “My men already know what you are Slav, and your presence is a most welcome one.” Beyond the flickering sphere of light the clink of weapons and armour met the statement, along with many murmurs and whispers. In the darkness that clung to the warehouse walls hundreds of men sat with the chill of the night eating into their bones, hands clutching cold steel or letters of loved ones. All stared out at the shadowed figure with a faint glimmer of hope in their eyes.

The hooded feline returned the wolf’s grin as a dark glare and turned away from the warmth of the fire “Just keep your men out of my way, and I will kill your Nazi...”

Viola walked amongst the dead in a completely destroyed, small laboratory. electric wires hung loosely and dangerous chemicals and such was scattered everywhere. she knew enough about laboratories to know that she didn't want touch anything. her sharp green eyes scanned the area for any sign of clue of what she was looking for. she got the hit that SSNP attacked this place. unsure why, but the place reeked of chemicals, gun powder and blood, making her eyes water she walked into another section, a large machine oozed with electric energy....just was her power needed, a reboot. touching the machine, she drained it of it electrical potential and walked off, taking electrical energy was easy...releasing it though was hard. she had found nothing here. though for the sake of the dead scientist, she set the place aflame. by the time she reached the road, the place exploded.

she waited at the train station, this will take her to her next destination, she was still in SSNP territory, she needed to go to the Capital to find more clue to her target. when the train arrived she boarded and gave the conductor her ticket, rows of second class seats filled with sleeping or reading passengers. in the next car, it was the observatory car, more awake passengers sat, talked and read. her destination was the fancy cars more towards the middle, two guards blocked the entrance, there were people around so..she had to come with a perfect excuse. "excuse me sirs...?" she said in a desperate voice, they looked at her, she gave them her watery doe eyes and sniffles "I lost my daughter on this train, the little brat ran away because she wanted to go into the front and now I cant find her!, please let me through!"
the guards looked at each other then nodded silently, stepping aside so she could past. she was not much of an actress but that act pulled off okay, feeling rather pleased with herself, she was now in a wealthy dining car.  she stealthily walked, but she knew they noticed her...in the last part of the car, she saw someone she had hoped to see...  a rat named Dr. Fredrick Kane Carlton she slowly walked to his table, which was empty as he sipped his scotch and flirted with some girls across the car, he was in his late thirties, a lecherous idiot with an ego the size of this train. he looked up, half drunk, staring at her, he went from Lecherous to white as a ghost. she sat down elegantly "hello there..." she said softly, relaxing in the comfy boot chair, a waiter offered her a drink, she asked for straight Vodka.
" how did you get in here!" he hissed under the violin music. this was her sisters first owner... " through the doors, I'm always good at a little white lie" she winked as the drink came back. "So...,Doctor I have a few questions I want to ask...." he scrunched his nose terribly, his rat face made her stomach twist in disgust "I wont answer them...pet" Viola had her gun in his gut "you will tell me... or I will shoot you right now..." her voice was soft, and honey sweet, he looked terrified. after some interrogation, she left, he left as well, but he met his end that somehow happened when she snuck into his room while he was out, snuck arsenic into his drink, she got off at the capital stop.... as for the Doctor, a employee found him dead on the floor

The soft hum of medical equipment was the only sound that could be heard as Doctr Macid Krastinov worked at his desk. Outside the lab, 2 armed soldiers stood by the reinforced door, preventing any unauthorized access to and from the lab. His desk and the surrounding area was filled with crumpled up sheets of paper, all of them failed or inplausible ideas. His goal was to weaponize a virus for use by the SSNP to exterminate the rebels and remaining natives, but in 5 years, he has yet to make any progress. A small, wallet sized picture of a female Lynx reminded him of what would happen if he didn't find a solution at the end of this year. He sighed as he looked back down at the blank piece of paper. "Armor protects them from an injection, not strong enough to be effective in water, and can't mantain it's consistency in the atmosphere. What's left to do with it?"
A small alarm clock on his desk went off, reminding him of his daily treatment. He sighed as he got up and walked over to a small cage with a blanket over it. Removing the blanket revealed several small rats scurrying around its confines. Without hesitating, Macid grabbed one of the rats and began to feed. The animal squealed in pain as it evaporated into nothing. He winced in pain as the symbols on his hand started to faintly glow. He covered the box back up with the blanket and went back to his desk, rubbing his ears on his way.

The trees in the forest rustled slightly as Syd traversed through the brush, the only hinting of her presence being the soft plodding of her paws against the pine needles scattered on the forest floor and the occasional rustle of branches when they managed to get in her way. While she could have traveled at a slower pace, she preferred to run, as it gave her momentum to jump and use the environment almost like a playground as she went. Night in the forest was breathtaking, in her own opinion. She knew this from spending many nights alone in the forest when she could not find shelter and also from growing up as a part of a tribe.

Occasionally, the canine hybrid would look up to keep track of where she was going, using the light rail as a direct guide to get to Dee. She could have ridden it, but she had denied the luxury when it was offered to her at Faye after finishing up a mission for the SSNP. She paused when the train blew by above her, sending out a gust that shook the pines to their core. Her emerald eyes focused on the train as it shot past, almost like a bullet. No matter how many times she had seen it, it never failed to fascinate her. It also never failed to make her nervous. Although she had a side of her that wanted to ride the light rail, she always denied the offer because she was so used to traveling by foot.

It was small instances like this that always managed to remind her and others of where she came from when she found herself in the mix up of these more “civilized” people. She was a native from Rorn, obvious from how she operated without technology. Refusing to ride the light rail was just one of the things that pointed out her roots, she also refused to use guns and seemed to be hesitant to using most other technology, which, in the SSNP, would often get her odd looks, but she was beginning to warm up to the idea with more exposure.  It wasn’t that she was stupid or uninterested in technology; it was just something quite different from more primitive tribe life. Aside from that, it was not as if she could not operate efficiently without the SSNP’s gadgets and toys leading her every move.

A smirk began to crawl onto her muzzle as she thought of how she managed to get her unofficial title as the SSNP’s bloodhound. Despite her lack of technology, she was able to track targets better than most officers that were worth mentioning; she figured that her talents would be unmatched once she was able to master their gadgets. Syd sighed, taking in the fresh air, her pause now evolving into a rest stop as she plopped onto the ground and sat back. When she got to Dee, she was going to find housing somewhere. She was looking forward to a hot meal, and Dee didn’t discriminate against her since a lot of the citizens knew of her unofficial title. It was never really kept under wraps with the SSNP to begin with. Her tongue slid out of the side of her mouth as she panted, thinking of the warm meals and beds that awaited her in Dee.

At-u'ul stood in the freezing winds of the mountain range, and unmoving tower of wolf, lost deep in thought. The destruction of Asgard weighed heavily upon his mind, and knew it always would be. But one part of it troubled him. Why had he survived? Warriors just like him had all died, kings and gods fell, but why had he, a mere mortal, survived Raganarok? Was it some bizarre fluke in what was supposed to be the utter ahnilation of his world? Or instead an event that was part of his destiny, decided before he was born by whatever force held control over such powers. He was interrupted from his brooding mindset by the sound of a motor coming down the road. A few seconds' later, bright headlights announced the arrival of a Nazi scout car. It was a battered hunk of metal, barely holding together. The letters USSN were emblazoned on the side, and a small swastika decorated the grill. A dirty window rolled down to reveal the face of Officer Pride, the commander of the small Nazi band that occasionally wandered through Grat-u'ul's haunts. The cheetah stuck his head out of the window and called out: "Hey barbarian! Yeah, I see you. Get over here. The big wolf reluctantly turned about and trudged towards the car and the man inside it. He knew he could kill the officer and his squad right then and there, and Officer Pride knew it too, but the cheetah had yet to invoke Grat-u'ul's wrath to that extent.
"What do you want, Pride?"
"A little of your time. I would offer you a seat inside this car, but I know you well enough to see you wouldn't enter this thing if your life depended on it."
"You know me well, Pride. What is it that you must have me tell you?"
"Ah, yes. That. Well, I've been hearing tales of rebels stalking about in these mountainous woods, and wanted to know if you had seen them."
The big wolves eyes turned somber
"They are dead of cold. The helm of Heimdall has shown me."
"I see. Now, would you care to join me for tea?"
"Of course."

The wolf and cheetah walked quietly through the snow and ice towards officer Prides camp together, before arriving at the small encampment.
It was a small arrangement of tents, with one large structure that looked like a barn in the dead center of the walled off compound. They two animals passed several glum faced soldiers aimlessly milling about before arriving at the barns doors. Officer Pride knocked on the doors and whispered something against it, which caused them to slide open with a whirr of gears and engines. They promptly closed behind them. Suddenly, the instant the doors closed, a contingent of armed soldier spread out of the shadows, surrounding and pointing guns at the officer and the warrior

“what is this?” Officer Pride called out. “I demand an explanation!”
one of the men took off his hood to reveal the dirt-splattered face of a chipmunk, grinning in the nazi officers face like a man possessed.
“isn't it obvious? Here, let me spell it out for you… M-U-T-I-N-Y”
the cheetahs eyes widened as the word was spelled out before him.
“you don't really mea-“
“Yes I do” the chipmunk curtly replied, bringing up his submachine gun to level at the officer, its cold polished steel barrel glinting in the starlight filtering through the roof.
He never had the chance to fire, as his skull collapsed under the hammer blow delivered from behind. Officer Pride's eyes widened as his face was splattered with the tratoirs blood. Grat-u'ul stood behind the dead man, bearing his hammer as if ready for another strike against his already dead target.

A wave of blood splashed onto a tiled floor.  The washroom, which was once ivory, was now mostly stained red.  The only occupant of the room was curled up in a fetal position vomiting the crimson liquid onto the floor.  He cursed and coughed as more blood spewed from his mouth.  He had only been asleep 5 hours and already the poisons had built up.  "It's speeding up.*cough* Am I to be denied sleep as well?" Cramping and dizzy from the loss of blood he weakly reached for a syringe, only to cramp up again and spew more blood onto himself.  Reaching through the pain, he quickly grabbed the syringe and  rammed it into his gut.  He nearly screams as he begins to extract a black fluid from his stomach.  The cramps begin to clear as the large syringe is filled to the top.  He lets out a pained chuckle as he examines the liquid. "Well...that would explain that.*cough* New poison..." Dropping the syringe lightly into the tub, he grabs another and rams it into his chest, puncturing a lung.  The syringe needs no help as a gray gas quickly forces the syringe to its limit.  Placing the syringe with its twin he stands up, many of the symptoms that awoke him so violently now gone.

Carefully walking through his own blood he stared at himself in the mirror.  His fur was now just as stained as the room around him, his black shorts also a red shade.  His green eyes were bloodshot, a combination of a lack of sleep and the pain.  This was the first time in days that he had been off duty long enough to sleep, and now it was ruined with his body's newest creation.  He'd have to test it out soon.  It would have to be a strong one to do this kind of damage to him.  Walking back over to the tub he picked up the syringes and placed them on the sink.  Turning on the shower, he began to spray down the washroom.  The blood was quickly washed away into the drain in the middle of the floor.  He had it installed after the first 20 times he had to clean up.  The room now clean he washed himself and left the washroom, taking the syringes with him.  His quarters were still splashed with blood and vomit...but it was carpet and the maid would be along in a few hours.

It wasn't like he was going to get to sleep anyway...

Ignoring the mess, he stared out the window of his quarters.  If his building wasn't in the middle iof a SSNP military base, this would be the next best thing to a penthouse.  The city of Nil was lit up like a neon sign, with glaring reds and yellows and whites coloring the sky orange with light pollution.  As he decided whether to get dressed or spend the last 2 hours of his time off duty drinking, a sudden dizz spell knocked him to his back.  Still suffering from blood loss....drinking may not be the best idea.  Hauling himself up into a chair, he continued to stare out the window.  Lost in his own thoughts, he almost didn't hear the knock on his door.  Putting on a robe, he stumbled to the door and opened it a crack.  Outside was what looked like a fresh recruit.  The boy was a rabbit, looking very much so frightened at having to bring a message to the infamous Major.

"What do you want..." Entaru hissed.

"Uhhh...m-m-m-message for Major Korin." The private saluted quickly and handed Entaru a sealed enveople.

Entaru grumbled a bit and took the envelope.   Shredding it open with his fingernail he read it.

'Major Korin,
Briefing in West Wing war room at 0700.  Classified mission.
General Stuoph.

P.S. Do what you want with the boy...

Entaru crumpled up the letter and threw it into the corner of the room.  Looking back at the boy he smirked a bit.  "What's your name boy?"

The rabbit saluted again.  "P-p-p-p-private Hofsteader, sir!"

"Why so frightened boy? Come in...have a drink."  Entaru opened the door the rest of the way and gestured in.  The rabbit saluted again and complied...not wanting to refuse the offer of a superior.  Entaru walked the boy to a seat and allowed him to plop into the chair.  The rabbit didn't notice the blood on the opposite wall and wore a relieved look on his face.  "There you go...get comfortable..."  Walking around behind the boy he pulled the black syringe from his robe pocket.  "Just relax..."  With one swift thrust, the syringe was in the boy's neck and quickly emptied of the black fluid. "Relax...let the poison do its work."

The rabbit quickly began convulsing, his face paralyzed into a silent scream.  In seconds, Entaru heard a crack come from the boy's arm, and saw that it had folded backwards, the poison causing such a powerful cramp that the tendon themselves had snapped.  More cracks began to come from the boy's limbs as muscles and tendons snapped and crushed the bones they spent their life protecting and moving.  Finally, a crack emanated from the boy's neck and his body was still.  The boy...or what was left, crumpled into a broken pile of bones and flesh on the chair.

"Hmmm...A bloodless poison...very nice.  Too bad the creation is so painful."  Entaru turned away, leaving the boy's corpse in the chair and quickly got dressed.  0700 was in 20 minutes.....

A gust of wind blew past Addonexus, forcing the desert's rough sand to blow into the his face.
'I grow so tired of this terrain. Let us move past this wasteland, and head to the capital. So many bodies.' A deep horse voice said. Addonexus shook his head, he grew tired of this other voice.
"At least in the desert I don't have to worry about looking insane as I have a full conversation with my self"
'I don't see how that matters; if you just kill everyone' Addonexus' tail crept forward, turning slightly so Addonexus could look inside the empty skull. Addonexus pulled his hood over his face, trying to make the desert wind less hostile. He continued to walk, silence was a peaceful thing for him, but his tail grew so tired of it. 'Kill something already!' The tail hissed, as much as Addonexus may of resented killing, he could not deny the hunger.
"…I am getting slightly hungry" he was more the hungry, but he could mange. He just hated to kill with no real reason. Addonexus kept a fast paste for the next few minutes, he knew he was near a small desert town, he hoped he could find some kind of work there so that he could buy some kind of animal to slaughter and eat. Crossing over the last desert hill Addonexus gazed at the small town, it was quite. Taking his hood off as he entered the town he noticed that all the merchants were gone, along with all the shops doors closed. The sound of a small child's whimper caught his attention. Walking into the town squarer, he saw three men standing over a small girl laughing.
"Please no more" the girl whimpered as she tried to pick her self up.
"Shut up you barbarian" the largest man said before kicking the small girl in the gut. The girl coughed up a little blood as her fragile body slammed on the ground with a thud. The large men sounded as if he was from over the boarder, his argonaut attitude was more then known. Addonexus walked past the men, shoulder bumping the largest or in his case bumping his shoulder into the large mans ribs, and walking over to the little girl. He picked her up, setting her on her feet.
"Are you alright" he whipped away the blood from the child's mouth. The child only nodded her head slowly, her body trembling with fear.
"Hey who the hell do you think you are!" One of the other men said, grabbing Addonexus' shoulder. Addonexus tunred around looking at the man,
"I suggest you leave" Addonexus' face was hard and stern. The man backed up looking at him.
"Do you believe this guy" the man who backed up pulled out a knife, looking at Addonexus then at the girl.

the night brease blew through the trees, the large railing below their pertch in the tree. seven lizard men sat, crouching, waiting for their new transport to the village. the breaze quickened and all seven reacted instantly. the seven rose and began running along the seven large branches that hung over the track as the light rail rounded the corner "shenti" (hurry) called one of the beings as it jumped up and launched it's self of another slightly higher branch and down into the fast moving light rail. the other six followed suit quickly, six of the seven landed flawlessly through experiance.

The seventh, visibly younger then the others, his blue scales caught the light as he sliped towards the side of the car apon landing. his face a silent scream in slow motion before it slamed into the roof of the car. he slid almost al the way off the car before two sets of hands grabbed him, he looked up and saw the scaled hands, dark green and black, he lookede to the right and his face turned to horror once again "gen desh!" (get down!) all the lizards looked up then reacted, some hit the deck others jumped the thick branch. the youngster looked up in horror after feeling a horrible jerking. only the black hands remained......the boy was lifted up carefully "shiti nosh ventenk?!" (wheres my sister?!)  the black lizard shock his head and he moved around the youngster and back to the front of the group, the boy looked down and saw the blood splatter and the marks from where the body had hit the light rail after the branch......tears rold down his cheeks as he took his place at the back of the group.

Sitting on a cliff that overlooked a clearing in the forest, a wolf in full-body armor dangled her legs off the edge as she kept her eyes on the two children 'escaping', verifying that one of them was Moonchild before she pinched her swastika earring. "Charge located, engaging at will..." She leaned forward and fell off the ledge head-first, doing a flip in the air before hitting the ground on all fours. You could have caught them before they left, but now you're engaging them?!
I thought it was charming how he carried her on his back, but now he's getting close to enemy territory... She got back on two legs, and unsheathed Salamander before chasing after the two kids.

It was supposed to be a simple operation. Sneak into Dee, assassinate a high priority Nazi official on the light rail brutally then escape after performing some sabotage.
What he didn't count on was for these rebels to actually be Nazis. He didn't count on them giving him false information leading him into a trap.
"PUT DOWN YOUR WEAPONS! YOUR SURROUNDED!" Yelled the Stormtrooper who actually handed him the contract, now having his rifle trained on Charles with a squad forming up around him.
"Suprise Suprise, the Nazis decided to be clever and dragged me into a trap."
He snapped one of his pistols too and fired a shot at one of the man''s grenades he had on his belt and the explosive detonated on the man's belt, throwing shrapnel everywhere, impacting two more soldiers.
"Who said I was the prey?" At that he suddenly darted into a back alley as the other soldiers were reeling from the explosion, but some gave chase, firing their weapons when they had a clear angle. Charles placed a foot on the wall of a building, and used it as a spring board to jump up to the fire escape above him. Bullets impacted around him as he rapidly climbed up the ladder and started sprinting up the stairs.

He was in his element now, the high terrain gave him an advantage and his mobility made him a difficult target. Charles holstered the pistol he had out and drew Stormcaller and sighted her on some unfortunate Nazi officer, and pulled the trigger. The man was dead before he hit the ground, his brain now painting the soldiers he was ordering a nice shade of gray. A quick grin at his kill, then he was off, leaping across the gaps in-between buildings, taking advantage of the Nazi's confusion.

The mission was abort, and he could not stay in Dee for long. By daybreak they would have people all over the city looking for him. He weighed his options, and the only easy way out was out with the light rail, and even then it wasn't an easy option. The 'rebels' originally told him to head there, so they might except him there, but it was better then using the front gates. Snapping back to reality, he made a leap to ground level, using a Nazi soldier as a cushion. Snapping the man's neck just to be sure, Charles began to run, as the sirens echoed across the city.

Katie sat up a bit straighter and tucked her red hair, which had by now drifted around her face sloppily, back behind her ears. She looked about the train car, at the body gaurds answering their own call, from what she heard, about an attempted illegal rail passage, answered by gunfire at the Dee station...the train in question had been hers. The suspect was still at large. Her tail now went straight, and she accepted her message.

The second she did so a bright green light flashed in a three foot radius. A hologram image of a man appeared, floating above the circular reader. He was human, square shouldered and feautured. Light skinned, blonde haired, blue eyed. Handsome in a brutal rather than soft way. The rodent woman went white under her fur and put her hand to her mouth in utter embarassment, as though caught in the nude by cameras, tilting her muzzle and gaze down to her feet. She didn't know why she did this. She didn't know why he was the only one to ever make her truly feel her position as a second class citizen, a woman amoung men, less than whole.

After regaining composure she gave the man's projection a hearty nod and smiled as though in pageant. "Heir Carson, delightful to hear from you again, my Fuhrer."

Atreyu heard something behind them and slowed down before dropping to the ground, rolling with Moon in his arms into the high grasses. They simply could not keep running when in danger. It would be foolish. Hundreds of miles from the border, help was non-existant. They had only themselves. The boy began to tug with his teeth at the silver flexi bracelet on his wrist...a magic blocker that prevented him from using any spells. With nothing else to defend them, they needed anything they could get. Moon crawled behind him, her ripped green smock hanging oddly over her thighs in shreds. The sheep doll was her new comfort object now that Atreyu's hand was out of the question, and it was held tightly between her knees as she tried much more weakly to rip off her own bracelet. "I help," she whispered.

CONTENIUED

The cheetah's face of amazement was silhouetted against the light of the searchlights born by other soldiers coming in through the door. They first looked to the dead Nazis, then to the wolf holding the bloodied warhammer, and finally towards the officer.
“What happened here?” whispered one of the soldiers to Officer Pride. “Did the barbarian attack you?”. Officer Pride turned to face his questioner before announcing: “what this man has done, private, is saved my life, and possibly yours as well.” The faces of the men bore questioning looks, and prompted the officer to elaborate. “I had invited this man over to dine with me, and we were held up by this man-' he pointed to the body on the floor. “And his gang of traitors.” His hand moved to point at the rest of the bodies laying about the barn. The private and his men gave a brief applause before beginning to drag the bodies outside the camp for disposal.

Hours later, Grat-u'ul sat with his newfound ally at a table drinking mead from a large flagon resting before him on the table. Officer Pride, sitting across from the wolf, idly sipped his wine, stirring it about with a toothpick. They had both been sitting there for at least a half-hour, after reaching a long and awkward pause in what was once a lively conversation. The cheetah opened his mouth to speak, only to close it to briefly consider his words before saying: “so… for a while now, my comrades and I have been thinking… were ignored, all of us stationed out here as part of some unspoken punishment for some minor crime… and, well, we've been thinking about becoming mercenaries.”
The wolf's eyes turned to acknowledge the Nazi.
“And?”
“We were wondering if you would join us.”
Grat-u'ul sat there, wondering, making complex decisions in his head. He finally said:
“I will.”
The man across from him, who was now quite literally his comrade, did a little skip of joy before rushing off to tell the rest of the regiment. A minute later, he came rushing back into the shack, holding a long piece of cloth mounted on a pole, and several containers of brightly colored paints. “What is this?” asked Grat-u'ul, looking at the jumble of objects now lying on the table before him. The ex-Nazi looked at him a promptly said: “were going to make our standard!”

Two hours later, through the use of much paint, spare weaponry, and ammunition, the two friends had constructed what looked to be a tall banner emblazoned with a massive V in the center, while two belts of large bullets hung from a horizontal pole attached higher up on the central one. And finally, a sword was sautered to the very top of the standard, providing a possible combat use to the banner as well as some symbolism. Both of its creators looked very proud of their work, making sure that it was kept in pristine condition until the day it saw battle. A few minutes afterwards, the newly assembled mercenary company stood assembled before a wooden platform once used for delivering public speeches. Smoke drifted in wisps from the soldiers helmets as the bone-biting cold quickly froze  the melted plastic on their reinforced helms, still hot from the old cattle brand being used on them to burn the company's symbol into them. All held good sprits as Officer Pride gave his speech about the mercenary company's forming, which was followed by a rousing applause before everyone turned away to pack their things for the journeys ahead.

True almost skipped to the cafeteria, giddy to get a sweet treat he enjoyed. He was humming as well as Jerry was walking quickly behind him. There wasn’t many others out in the facility, though as they walked it seemed all the attention was on True. He began to take notice and slowed his skipping into a walk. The humming, too, ceased. Soon they got to the cafeteria and True made his way to a table. “No…Come with me. I will not be leaving you unattended.” said Jerry, preventing True from taking a seat. “So I can go into the back!?” asked True batting some puppy dog eyes. His voice hinted that he was both surprised and excited. “Yes, but I will be watching you.” Jerry said before turning to head to the back room. “Come on.” he continued. True gasped, almost not believing what was happening and quickly followed after Jerry. Jerry lead True into the back room, sure to make him go in first.

Upon entering he walked behind True as he walked around in awe. He almost never got the chance to come back there, which made it such an amazing thing. To top it off all the goodies were back there. True continued to walk along, lost in the moment until Jerry tugged on collar to make him stop. “Stand there.” Jerry said sternly. True turned to watch him as he knelt down to reach into a cabinet. When Jerry’s attention was on getting a cup of pudding Nier managed to force True to steal a knife from a cup on the counter. It jingled from the action, making Jerry look up to see what it was. True stood there with a wide toothy grin on his face looking innocent as could be. Jerry went back to fishing out a pudding cup and again Nier snuck a knife. Jerry looked up again. “What are you getting in to, True…?” Jerry asked. He was clearly not amused. True pulled a spoon from behind his back and showed it to Jerry. “Spoon for puuudding!~” True replied gleefully. Still behind his back was a handful of knives he wasn’t showing Jerry. Jerry scowled and finally got the pudding from a box in the back. Standing up he closed the cabinet and handed the pudding to True who had already tucked away his newly obtained knives.

True didn’t enjoy being used, but it was better then being yelled at by Nier later; he could be very hurtful. The two left the back room and found a table to sit down at. True quickly dug into his pudding, leaving the first bite in his mouth to savor the flavor. “Mmmmm!~ So yummy! Thanks, Jerry!” True said finally moving on to his next bite. Jerry said nothing and idly stared at him as he ate.

Meanwhile on the train…

Dante had long since fallen asleep, laying down along the seats that formed somewhat of a couch. Cyrus, too, was lying on his chest curled into a ball. A noise had drew Dante from his light sleep. He quickly scanned the booth to see nothing. Deciding to get up to stretch his legs he scooped Cyrus up gently as not to disturb him from his slumber. He then set him back down to let him continue to sleep. Dante got up and stretched before heading out of his booth into a hallway. He went left, towards the back of the train. When he reached the door to the next car he froze when he touched the handle. A sudden feeling rushing to him coming from the car ahead of him. “Such sin…” he said silently to himself. Just in the next car was a group of the SSNP, acting as a security team for the car behind them. It was a large group, of at least twenty soldiers.

He turned to lean against the door, unable to go inside. It wasn’t out of fear, but rather a growing urge to send everyone in that car to the one above. “I can’t make a fuss here…It’s too risky.” he shook his head to try and control himself. In a normal situation Dante would be quick to act, happy to rid people of their sin and send them to a better place. An uncontrollable twitch made Dante draw his two Triguns and press their barrels against his face. “Give me strength…” he said aloud. Dante stood up and holstered his weapons and put his cloak back around himself to cover up. He then walked towards the other side of the car to get away from the urge.

Viola found a secret place for her to pray to the old Ayanna Goddess of wisdom and death, apart of the triple goddess, almost like a rosary, she pulled out prayer beads, and prayed for the evil soul she just exterminated. she spoke in amazonian tongue, it was a long prayer but when she done she got up and hid her prayer beads and walked the streets of the SSNP capital. her black trench coat billowed behind her, many people stepped aside so she could pass.  she was gonna have to keep low for her next plan to begin, since it was gonna get harder for her to get her hands on the next person who was apart of her sister and families death. but her entire plan was to kill every single leader in the SSNP, even though she was not apart of the resistance, she was gonna do them a little favor. she walked into a diner that was open for dinner, walking into the place, she sat down at a booth and wait for the waitress to come, she did, a young feline girl was an unfamiliar accent.
"whadya want surga?' she asked, looking at the menu she said "I will have the steak dinner with mash potatoes with your meat gravy, greens and a cup of coffee with cream" her soft and musical voice almost always betrayed her scary and commanding appearance. the waitress left with a slight blush on her face. many of the people stared at her out of the corner of her eye, even the chef. it was quite except for the music box. she ate her meal when it returned, payed and tipped the waitress and left silently.

Viola walked deep into the heart of the city, the wealthy, rich people part. many stared as she walked past, for she stood out, looking like a barbarian amongst the delicacy's and the fragrant smells of the wealthy. walking past a bar she noticed someone, someone she would never forget... once a Lieutenant and now telling by the badges was a major, a middle aged wolf man that did awful, unforgivable things to her mother before she was brutally murdered.  he was no leader but he was indeed a monster in her eyes, by quietly asking an older man where he lived, he pointed to the smaller mansion on the hill. when he had quickly left, she was smiling to herself, it was a longer walk but she arrived, finding a way through, like a shadow she walked though the house, she saw portraits of him and his fox young wife and a recent photo of a baby. a baby girl at that, she walked slowly up the stairs, she found the babies bedroom, next to it was the master bedroom where his wife slept. pulling out her gun she put a silencer on it, the wife woke up, expecting to be her husband. "Charles...you-" she stopped, her eyes wide when she saw Viola and the gun pointed at her. "get up...take your baby" Viola's soft voice was full of malice as she watched the young woman shakily get up and dashed to her baby's bedroom. Viola followed her, the baby cried as she was disturbed from her sleep.
"please don't kill me or my daughter!" she was terrified, she hushed the baby's cries as she forced them into Charles office. she had no plan to kill the wife and baby, she wasn't cruel. she sat in the chair and waited for him to arrive, it was a good hour when he did and Viola had lost all patience, the whole time she was silent and the young mother nursed her baby. when Major Charles did arrive, he looked confused and angered by the situation.
"put the gun down Major or you will regret it" ....

Explosions ruptured the muddied ground. Plumes of earth and shrapnel burst upwards with each muffled blast. Shouts and screams filled the cold morning air; everywhere men scrambled over bricks and barbed wire, splashing through mud and stagnant water. The constant crack and whip of bullets flew overhead as the Rebel fighters pushed down the road with a valiant tenacity.

Warehouses lined the street, signposts and overturned barrels marking this place to have once been a thriving industrial area. Now fires burned in the empty shells of depots and buildings, iron girders and supports jutting from blasted walls like charred ribcages, and everywhere bodies lay bloodied and torn in the mud.

Kittrevsky watched the fighting like an actor standing at the wings of the stage. Detached, merely watching and waiting. The wildcat shifted where he lay and pulled his hood further over his head. With a dissatisfied grunt at the mud that was seeping through his fatigues, he put his eye back to the scope of his rifle. He had merely to wait.

The end of the street was a criss-crossing bulwark of razor wire, sandbags and flashing gun muzzles. The soldiers of the SSNP had held this sector for a long time now, the high-command insisting that the industrial sector would not fall. The harsh crack of smaller weapons overlaid by the occasional thumping of the Nazi’s heavier guns was bringing the Rebel’s offensive crashing to its knees.

Suddenly Kittrevsky took in a sharp breath, finger tensing around the trigger of his rifle. At the back, behind the wire and soldiers, a sleek black vehicle had pulled to a halt. Another loud –crump- and a plume of mud obscured Kittrevsky’s vision as an officer stepped out from the car, followed by a retinue of bodyguards, all dressed in the same charcoal black.

With an expert flick of the wrist Kittrevsky brought the image closer, lenses sliding into place until the officer’s face filled the crosshairs. He was a fox, crimson-furred and sharp-mouthed; he offered a thin cigarette to the junior officer beside him. Both smoked with an air of relaxed confidence, the younger of the two gesturing back towards the sandbags and soldiers.

Now was the chance, the chance that he had waited five hours for. Interrogated a junior officer and intercepted SSNP communications, all for this small opening. His finger tensed on the trigger...

“Oh no you don’t.” A whisper just behind the wildcat’s ear caused the finger to slip, a hand to go instinctively for the knife at his belt. But whoever had spoken was faster, pushing his face into the mud they jumped over him and down from the warehouse wall into the street below. A single cheerful remark followed the figure as they disappeared from view into the ruined warehouse “This kill is mine!”

His ears still ringing from the rat's squeal, Macid sat down at his desk to try and think of any other way to weaponize it. "It seems the most plausible way is to make it airborne. If only there was a way to keep it from dissipating so quickly." He decided to look over his notes of the disease to try and find something he might have missed. He talked out loud to himself as he read. "The disease has a 100% mortality rate and has no known cure. Currently, the only way to recieve it is by injection from a very small gnat-like creature. The disease quickly spreads throughout the victim's body and slowly eats away at bones, muscle, and fat tissue until there is nothing left. Previous tests have proven that with alteration, the disease can become airborne, but with 98% reduced efficiency in killing its target." He tossed the notebook aside as he rubbed his brow in frustration and fatigue.

Looking at the desk clock, he saw it was almost 700. His eyes were heavy and his limbs ached. He hadn't slept much or very well for a while due to constant alarms keeping him up and working. He was beginning to doze off when he heard the door to his lab unlock. Panicking, he rubbed his eyes and tried his best to straighten out his coat. He stood at attention as the door opened. It was very rare that anyone entered his lab, no matter what their status was, so visits were always very important. A man dressed in a very high ranking officer uniform entered in accompanied by two other guards besides the door ones. Macid drew his heels together and saluted as he was taught to. "Colonel Sanders." The colonel saluted back with a smile. "Doctor Krastinov. I hope this night finds you well. The fuhrur has sent me for an update on your research. I do hope you've made some progress this time." Macid gulped. He hadn't made any, but couldn't let the colonel leave without something this time. He began to explain what he knew to try and stall while he thought of something. "Well, as you know, the disease is only transmitted through either the insect that originally carried it, or by direct injection to the blood stream. The insect, due to our colonization, is all but extinct now. A direct injection is impractical for use on the battlefield, and to synthesize more for other uses is time consuming to say the least. Thus the only viable option is to somehow make it airborne, allowing us to fill gas canisters with it and infect that way." That was all he had to say, his mind was scrambling to think of something, anything to say to save him another punishment for no progress. Then it hit him. Why it took so long for him to realize it, he wasn't sure, but he was sure he finally found a solution. "But what if, Colonel, what if we mutated it? Combined it with another disease that isn't deadly, but can infect large amounts of people? Combining the deadliness of my disease with the transmitability with the common cold, we could create a neurotoxin that even Needles would be jealous of! I would need a raw sample of the disease to work with. Can you..." The colonel raised his hand to stop Macid from speaking. A very wide smile appeared on his lips. "Consider it done Doctor. You shall have your disease. The fuhrer will be most pleased to hear this." The colonel turned around to leave the lab when he pulled a small device out of his pocket. Pressing the button on it released a shrill sound like nails on a chalkboard combined with a babys scream. The guards merely winced at the sound, but Macid fell to the ground, screaming and covering his ears in pain. "That was for speaking before me, Doctor. Do not speak out of turn again." The colonel left, laughing at his torture of the doctor.

A few moments later and the canine was back to her feet, leaping over fallen trees and avoiding anything that could hinder her progress to Dee.  She was beginning to get tired having covered so much distance on foot in one night thus far. Convinced she wasn’t going to make it to Dee, she decided to settle for the night. She knew she wasn’t far; she was able to see the lights from the city very vaguely. “I know it’s not far now, but I need to put the rest of my energy into making a camp,” She muttered, finding a tree with a thick trunk.

Raising her claws, she began to swipe at the earth near the base of the tree.  Since she had separated from her tribe, she had developed her own methods of setting up camp, and they were usually easier and more efficient than the older ones since it didn’t require scavenging, just using the environment.  She created shelter by digging under a tree, using the roots combined with the earth around her as the walls, the hole that she dug as an entrance into the roots. It wasn’t a very deep hole, just enough for her to fit under the roots with a little room to spare so that she could lay comfortably.  She considered making a fire, but decided against it as she crawled into her burrow and turned, facing outward. She looked like an animal as she curled up, tucking her face under her arms, attempting to sleep. She sighed out, her breath causing a cloud of dirt to kick up. She was covered in dirt at this point, which she didn’t mind. In the morning, she would get moving again and make it to Dee, hopefully get some food and find some business or another job.

Entaru stepped off the tram and onto the platform of the West Wing.  The tramway was extensive, going throughout the entire base so that troops could easily be transported from one end to the other within a short amount of time.  The tram also led out into Nil itself, where it spread to the many defensive outposts of the city, which kept the city safe from the savages that skulked outside.  The tram had been empty except for the few guards that stayed aboard to protect it from sabotuers...not that it mattered.  There was a hidden eye scanner aboard every tram, identifying anyone who got aboard.  The guards were alerted if anyone with a suspicious background got aboard and they were usually either escorted off or shot.  Entaru was proud of the system, though he had nothing to do with its creation.

Entaru cleared his thoughts and found himself walking to the War Room on autopilot.  I've walked this hallway too many times...I could walk down this way blindfolded.  Turning a corner he was greeted by two more guards, both saluting as he came into view.  One of the guards was shaking a bit...obviously new at this paticular post.  The other was familiar, with a stern face that matched his job.  "Good morning Sergeant....training a new guard?

"Sir, yes sir!"  The guard's expression soured a bit at being reminded.

"Well then I wish you luck Sergeant...you'll need it for this one.  Seems a bit twitchy...."  Entaru walked past the two of them and into the War Room.  General Stuoph as well as a few of Entaru's fellow officers.  With a salute Entaru adressed the General.  "You wished to speak with me sir?"

Addonexus looked at the three bodies laying on the floor, turning his head to look a the child.
'Kill them!!' the horse voice screamed, Addonexus ignored it walking over to the small child.
"Don't worry, they won't hurt-" he reached over to pat the child on the head, but the child pulled back in fear. Addonexus hand pulled back as he silently felt the pain his appearance inflicted on him. He stood up; his ears flickering hearing the coking sound of a gun. The largest man, barely able to move his body, had the gun's iron sight set on him. Addonexus yellows eyes burned with anger as the moon light flashed across them, he couldn't stand when idiots tried his generosity.
'Yes!! Yes do it', reaching back into the skulls mouth Addonexus took hold of a handle. With one clean swipe Addonexus beheaded the fool, revealing the five foot long buster sword, its sinister aura filling the air. 'You know.. if you don't kill the others they will be back and they will take revenge on these defenseless bystanders', Addonexus knew what the voice was trying to get him to do, and as much as he hated it he knew it was right. Holding the blade with one hand he quickly killed the closest of the two, the other was slightly out of reach from being knocked back form the battle. With a slow paste walk Addonexus made to the unconscious body, he raised his sword and let it fall to end the mans life, but something wasn't right. Instead of the sound of ripping flesh and bones, the sound of metal on metal was met. A tall female rabbit was holding his blade, just inches away from the mans face, in her palm.
"Are you with-" before Addonexus could finish what he was saying, the female threw his blade out of his hands and to the side, followed by a palm strike to his chest. Losing all air in his lungs, Addonexus slammed against a wooden merchant stand, destroying it as his body came to a halt in the remains.  Barely having time to get back up, the feline braced him self as the rabbit threw another punch. Putting his hands up to block it with some magic, he could feel his flesh rip a little as the power of the blow impacted. The rabbit stood thrown off by what happened; leaving Addonexus with a free shot. Taking in a breath of air first; Addonexus launched everything around him away. Sending the tall rabbit flying back.

Liliana tired her best to land on her feet as she tried to recover from her blast. 'What kind of magic is that?', she thought to her self, still not being to aware of hostile magic. Her foot bumping into the hilt of the large blade as she skid to a stop, she grabbed the handle of the demonic blade to try and better her self. 'It's a lot heavier then I thought', she looked at the short feline, and wondered how he was able to swing such a large object with such a small body. It was heavy, but still not any trouble for the rabbit, she charged with the blade in he hand. Leaping in the air to strike the feline down, his smile gave her worry. As the blade inched closer to him, she felt its wight begin to disappear as the blade its self began to disappear into a dark gas. 'What the heck' her mind trying to grasp what just happened, her eyes looking into the skeletons eye sockets she felt her body freeze up, leaving her unable to move.

'Finish her!' the voice screamed as the blade was once again pulled from its mouth as Addonexus swung for a killing blow.
"Nooo!" the small child screamed as Addonexus stopped his blade on the rabbits throat. "Please mister don't kill Lady Liliana" the small child began to sob as it pleased with the feline. "She was only trying to help"
  'Screw the child, finish her-'
"I'm not you" Addonexus said pulling the blade away, turning it back into gas. He turned and began to walk back into the desert.

Liliana felt her self regain control of her body, she stood puzzle by the feline's comment. The child ran into her arms crying, she brushed it hair patting it gently. "Child... what happened here?"

the six remaining lizards started making their way towards the fromt of the light rail, the large black male leading the group and the young blue male following behind them. the group reached a large glass like section of roof near the end of one of the carages, just like the last three they had passed, but this one had someone on the otherside of it. the leader looked over the edge slowly, as he had done a hundred times before, and saw a being with two guns to his lips, the being said something quietly then wlked back towards the front of the train. the leader signaled to one of the other lizards, a short dark coloured lizard with a sort of rainbow tint to his scales. "tenkunte nomte ci meshne" (make sure its safe to go inside.) the small lizard nodded then vanished, his scales camoflaging him perfectly as he slipped into the carage. once inside he looked around, watching the stranger, waiting for the time to signal the others.

The wolfess continued her pursuit, smiling as both of them stopped to vainly attempt at removing their magical limiters. When she caught up to them, she wasted no time on the boy as she held her blade right at his face and another hand making a fireball. "As Moonchild's guardian, I cannot allow her to leave the compound without an escort of at least myself and one other officer. If you continue your pointless struggle, I might just have to take your other arm off."

Tier had been pulled from the frontlines to be reassighned. His tank crew had been slated for reassighnment after thier last assualt and he was not happy. Tier rode silently reading most of the way as he sat abord the train bound for some new assighnment he more than likely was going to be sorry for. He had been assighned to act as somewhat of a bodyguard for some upper echelon individual  and in all honesty he wondered why. From the report he had read this was a task more suited for the Totenkopf, not a Waffen SS sergeant. Moodily he folded the page in the small book and placed it back into his uniform and stood up. He had been riding in the baggage or cargo car to deter any stowaways abord the train. He adjusted his uniform belts and made sure his weapons were in check. Tier wore his weapons on his back and his side for all of the world to see. He was a soldier, not some frilly little dignitary d***it! He sighed and opened the door to step out of the car. The wind rushed about and Tier looked to the side to grab ahold of the ladder and begin climbing. The less others knew of his presence the better off he was. He reached the top and hooked the safety line he had left there to his loop he had attached to his trouser belt and began walking across the roof of the train car. They had been heading for Dee and Tier's orders was to "Shadow miss Kate and make sure as to not arouse any suspision to yourself. If you feel compromised, kill any unnessessaries you deem a threat." To Tier that translated as; stay the f*** out of sight and make sure she gets to wherever she's supposet to go so that you can be relived and sent on some other bullcrap mission. As Tier reached the end of the car he unhooked his safety line and carefully attached it to the next car before easing over. This was the biggest waste of his talents but he had to do what he had to do as long as he was getting paied. He had to show his loyality to whoever held his contract. He finally reached the car in question and unhooked himself and went down the ladder to stand in front of the door and open it to enter what was better known as the officers car. Here other soldiers rode and chatted and gambaled while Tier threaded his way through them and moved toward the door. Most had already seen him a couple of times before and didn't question him as he passed. He reached the door of the car in which miss Kate rode and raised his hand and knocked on the door. "Miss Kate, a word please?" He asked as polietly as he was able.

the convoy rumbled along the road, tattered banners fluttering in the warm breeze. they had been on a course east into warmer territorys, and signifigant change in the enviorment and morale of the soldiers. the pines were replaced by oak trees, and it grew warmer. the men werehappier and happier to leave the frozen hellhole they had been stationed at. at the head of the leading truck, Grat-u'ul stood on the roof, a proud figurehead of the companys power and pride. but within the hour, they found what tthey were looking for. it came first as sporadic machine gun fire in the distance, and as they grew closer, they could hear the booms of artillery and the loud crashes of tanks being destroyed. the convoy pulled up at a shattered gate to a small town, where they wittnesed a small group of rebels despratly trying to hold off a Nazi tank brigade bombarding the homes and stores. Vahallas Finest simpley sat and watched until the tanks left behind a pile of rubble and a stack of corpses.
"we should have done something." flatly stated Officer Pride
"I know. but whos side are we on?" Grat-u'ul replied
"Im...not...sure.." said Pride
oth men gazed thoughtfuly into he distance.

Katie heard the knocking, and waved one of her personal guards to deal with whomever it was since interrupting the Fuhrer would be a highly punishable, rude offense. She turned her attention back to him with an apologetic, slightly dipped nod, surprised at what he said next.

“Go ahead and let him in,” Heir Carson muttered, his hologram image flashing as he clasped his hands together and leaned forward. “What I want to say to you requires…..all the witnesses I can get.”

Without a second thought, Katie knew this was a direct instruction to herself and got up humbly out of her chair, gliding to the train car door. Her body guards looked at each other with raised eyebrows as what she was doing would be considered stupid, had whoever it was on the other side of that door had assassination on his mind and gun in hand. She opened it up onto the contracted SS member and gave him a charming white smile, curtsying a little, black skirt in hand, once again wondering why she had to do that and men didn’t. She moved her lips silently and nodded at the empty booths for Tier to sit down for a moment. “Heir Carson himself is speaking to me at the moment, please, show some respect for our wonderful Fuhrer.”

Atreyu felt his heart rise into his throat and an incredible guilt sink into that little, fast beating heart. He was supposed to being helping Moon out of here, saving her from the daily torment, but now with a blade pressed to him…if he did not surrender them, he would not be able to help her at all anymore. If he did not surrender, and entered battle, he could leave that battle injured, or dead and would no longer be a help to his ‘little sister.’ He rolled his shoulders back submissively, and his ears went back albeit with a crude snarl. “Fine…I….I…surrender. Us….her. Just don’t even think about punishing Moon for this. It was me.”

Meanwhile Moon’s ears did the opposite, they went up in disbelief. She had a fairy tale sort of mindset and truly believed they could escape scratch free. She was just a child barely out of day care age and did not understand how he could just surrender. Her hand dropped…and the magic limiter slipped off of her wrist, successfully broken. She did not notice. “N-no, Atreyu! You can’t!” she whined, tears welling. It was like a toddler who didn’t get what they wanted at the store, a temper tantrum in a much more disturbing context. The child rose to her feet, in what seemed like anger but was, rather, just childish frustration and terror at the thought of going back. She looked right at the wolfess. “Let him go!” she demanded, again thinking it was that easy.

As Atreyu tried to sway her out of it with shakes of his head, for her own safety, something that looked like a misty shadow grew behind the girl. It grew, and grew, and grew, to the point the meadow appeared to be under the shadow of a great storm cloud. Out in the middle of the meadow field, something was forming, a mass black like ink, slick like tar. It seemed it had no other form than this liquid shadow.

It leaped from the ground in fury, black ink swarming and forming something new, a towering figure several times taller than the great pines….it could even be seen from the train, from the views in Dee. A monster, or a spirit, one could not really tell, for it's featureless body betrayed absolutely nothing but hands the size of houses, tipped in what seemed like impossible claws. No face, no means. It's body was long and thick, the biggest tree in the forest. Yet its prescence alone was unbelievable, something never before seen, and horror-inspiring, a great wake of wind blasting back the grass in the meadow as it rose, a sort of distant sound ringing in their ears.

Atreyu looked to Moon, aghast. “What did you do?!” he called. Sadly, he knew exactly what she had done...he had had to deal with...similarities before. But the wolfess had never witnessed it, nor had any other Nazi, so the claim the child was responsible was perposterous.

"I didn't mean to, me swear, Atreyu!" the girl herself didn't know what was going on, and felt the stain of fear, worse than when under the needle, when on the operating table, when running courses and tests. "Moon no bad, Moon no bad..." she whispered, unable to take her eyes off the thing she had called, backing up, stepping on her doll as she went, nails biting her palm.

True soon finished his pudding and let out a satisfactory sigh. “That was so good!~” said True happily. “Can I have ano-” “No.” Jerry interrupted flatly. “Aww…” True moped. “Pleeeease?” he said giving Jerry his best puppy dog eyes. “No. You have had enough. I think it is best you return to your room for the night. Come.” he said, standing up. True stood up saddened at not getting more pudding and that he had to return to his cell. Head hung low he walked ahead of Jerry back to his cell. Down a corridor they came to a glass chamber that blocked off the hallway. Jerry walked up to a window, flashed his ID and a door on the chamber opened up. True walked in, knowing what to do. This is where they would search him for weapons.

The door closed behind True leaving him standing in the center. A door on the wall to his right opened up, letting in an orderly to search him. The fox cautiously walked over to the kid and began to pat him down. In that process True had moved his eye patch from his right eye to his left. It was now Nier in control, in the same motion he slid a knife from his sleeve to his paw. “Weapon!” called out the orderly, taking note of True’s action. He jumped back towards the door as Nier had swiped at him nearly missing him. The orderly retreated back into the safety of the room he came from, door swiftly closing just as Nier took a stab at the orderly getting the knife stuck in between the door and frame. “Damn it!” shouted Nier. The child-like voice had disappeared now, a more darkened and aged tone taking it’s place. “I swear, I will get you Thomas!” threatened Nier as he took a step back. Having failed, Nier knew what was coming next. A gas began to fill the chamber creating a thick fog rendering Nier unseen from the outside. He didn’t resist as he soon lost consciousness and fell to the ground with a thud.

Meanwhile on the light rail…

Dante felt a presence behind him suddenly as he neared the front of the car. Quickly he turned around, hands on his weapons under his cloak. He sniffed, looking down the empty corridor. Cautiously he walked down the corridor nearing the lizard not knowing he was there. He stopped, only a foot or so from him and sniffed the air, unable to place the smell he had found. A gust poured in from an open window in the booth next to him. Peering inside he found it was empty and entered. The wind was blowing his cloak behind him, revealing his almost cowboy get-up. It was a brown leather vest, belt of bullets across his chest, guns in their respective holsters on his sides. Dante closed the window, his cloak falling flat against his back without the wind. He returned it to covering him up and exited the room and returned to his own without incident.

Swearing profusely under his breath Kittrevsky leapt up from his sniping spot, sliding down the brick wall to land and roll in a cloud of brick dust.

Rifle slung over his back he ran, smashing through a rusted doorway, only to see the last glimpse of the figure disappearing through another door. He shouted; voice echoing in the empty warehouse “Wait! You’re going to get us both killed!”

Bursting through the second doorway Kittrevsky emerged on the other side of the warehouse, the crack of bullets and screams closer than before. Again the figure was already weaving between concrete pillars- agile and fast. Kittrevsky gave chase, bullets tearing up the ground at his feet as he leapt over rubble and wire.

Swearing yet again he scrambled up a slope of loose bricks, crunching underfoot as he ran between pillars that had once supported a tall roof, now blasted away into rubble. He could see the figure, running parallel to his path and oblivious to him turning, catching a pillar, swinging round and using his momentum to smash into their side with a muffled thump.

The pair tumbled onto the rubble-strewn floor, choking clouds of brick dust rising around them. Kittrevsky coughed and wheezed as he drew his blade and pinned the figure down with as much force as he could still muster.

It was only now, dust settling and with the muffled sound of explosions and screams all around, that Kittrevsky could see who the figure was. It was only now that he realised the figure he had pinned to the floor -chest heaving- was a woman, and most importantly, a slav. She grinned “What’s the matter sniper... Cat got your tongue?”

Entaru left the war room confused.  The amount of new information that had just been divulged to him made his head hurt.  The SSNP had kept many of its projects classified to everyone except for those who worked on it and the Fuhrer himself.  Not even the people guarding the compounds knew what was going on inside them.  And now, without warning, Entaru and a handful of other officers were being put in charge of militarizing and monitoring those projects.  They were not told why...just that the projects needed to be ready to deploy at a moments notice.  Each of them had been given seperate orders as to where their different compounds were and what they were supposed to do.

But Entaru's was different...everyone else had machine prototypes, experimental chemicals (one that he had helped along and had expected to get), even demonology and new magicks.  He, however, had been put in charge of militarizing the project that he and many others had only thought was a rumor...something the SSNP came up with to scare the Rebels into submission.  It had been given many names....the Uberkind, the Immortal Soldiers, the Valkyries.  And the most poignant...the name that stared up at him from the paper.

The Aryan Children....

Why had he been chosen for this one?  He flipped through the pages as he sat down on the tram.  There was so little information...what was he supposed to do?  The train to the base would leave in an hour and after that he would have a military escort waiting for him but there was nothing for what he was supposed to do when he got there.  Entaru rested his head on his hand as he read the intstructions over and over.  It was only when the tram made a stop, did two small pieces of paper fall out of the folder.  Picking them up he could see that they were pictures.  The first was of a young boy...a lion cub.  He seemed relatively unremarkable and Entaru smirked a bit as he noticed the boy was in a fight with what he could only discern as an oversized trainer...a fight he was winning.

Looking at the next picture Entaru nearly fell from his seat in shock.  "Sonya?!" He blurted out without thinking, his eyes beginning to well up.  He quickly stifled the tears as he looked at the picture again...it wasn't her.  The girl in the picture was the completely wrong species...but she was the right age.  He quickly put away the photos as the tram came to his destination.  Quickly exiting the tram and transferring onto the train, he stalked to his room in one of the train cars and locked himself in.  Collapsing onto the bed, he let the tears that he had stifled flow silently out.  He could have sworn he had seen his daughter...

Charles leapt off the platform, Nazi bullets flying all around him. Throwing out a hand he managed to catch onto the railing on the back of the lightrail car. After drawing a pistol and firing back at the troopers behind him, missing most shots but driving them to seek cover, he hauled himself up and over the railing and ducked into the car.
He jumped in a seat and breathed a sigh of relief, he almost leaned back in his char and relaxed, but then a thought crossed his mind.
"I'm on the lightrail.... which is loaded with Nazis.... who all know i'm a wanted criminal."
He looked up and saw a few nazi passengers looking very confused as to who he was. He didn't give them the chance to understand as he drew his pistols and squeezed the triggers.
The guns hammered in his palms as bullets were thrown into the passengers, three died or were wounded before they could understand what happened. Other passengers started screaming and trying to escape, or in the case of military personnel, drew their sidearms and fired back.

"Attention passengers, the light rail has been infiltrated. Be on alert, the subject is armed and extremely dangerous." The captain calmly stated over the loudspeaker, alerting the high priority passengers, like Katie, to expect company very soon.
Charles kicked the door back outside the tram to the back, shots ringing around him as he stood up and ran. He stood on the railing, and using it as a stepping stone, jumped onto the roof of the car.

It was several minutes before Macid was able to get to his feet. His ears were still ringing from the white noise the colonel submitted him to. He rubbed his ears gently as he rose, slightly loosing his balance and stumbling over to his desk. Steadying himself with his chair, he slowly sat down and began clearing his desk of papers. "You'd think he'd save that attitude for pows instead of his own men. What does he gain from such barbaric practices?" He shook his head in dissapointment as he continued to clean his desk. He wouldn't be able to do any work until the disease sample came to him, so after finishing his cleaning, he went to check on the lab equipment to ensure it was in perfect working order. As he was checking, the door alarm went off again. "Again? Who is it this time?" He walked over to the door to see it open, with 2 guards entering. There was nothing special about the first one, but the second one was wheeling in a prisoner with a mouth gag. The doctor saluted the duo as they addressed him. "Doctor Krastinov. By order of the general, this prisoner is to be infected with your new disease when its ready. We are also to give you this." The first soldier reached into his side pack, taking out a large canister filled with a light green liquid. The doctor's eyes went wide as he looked at the canister, carefully taking from the soldier and holding it up to the light. "This... is perfect, gentlemen. Put the prisoner in the test chamber and ungag him." The guards nodded and moved to a large glass chamber in the far end of the lab. Painted on the glass were symbols that restrained all magic in its containment area. Ungagging the prisoner let loose a flurry of swears at the soldiers. The 2 soldiers locked the chamber and left the lab as quickly as they came in. The doctor continued to eye the disease sample all the while, fascinated at how fast he got it. He looked over to his desk at the photo of his girlfriend. "This is it Maria. This is the key to our salvation!"

the lizard moved silently as the being closed a window, mere centimeters from the top of his head. he was to scared to breath with nothing but the guns filling his line of site. he breathed a sigh of releif when the being disapeared and turned his hand back to a visible state and signaled the rest of the group who silently entered the hall. they all filed into an empty room and sat down. the rainbow lizard went invisible again and silently walked over to where he had seen the other being walk into and sat down next to the door, waiting incase it came back out.

'Damn you why didn't you kill her' the horse voice hissed, Addonexus ignored it, he was to busy sulking in his own misery.  Addonexus eventually ran into some tumble weed and decided to make a fire. 'She attacked you, after you save that stupid child you-'
"Shut up" Addonexus voice was filled with anger as he cut the voice off.
'Normally I would keep nagging at you, but you did kill today, so ill be nice this once. Not to mention I can feel you slipping' the voice quietly laughed to its self. Addonexus didn't respond, although he was ironically thankful for the tails kindness, wither it was because he was thankful or the tail was nice is yet to be seen. He gazed at his cut hand, it stopped bleeding, but hasn't began to heal yet. He just set his head down, wondering what is to become of him, what is his purrpose. 'I so hate these pitys thoughts, I'm going to sleep try not to geet your self killed in the mean time.' The tail twitched a little, and then rested gently against the cool sand. Addonexus bright yellow eyes watched as the fired died, it was one of the few things that still brought him peace.

Syd slept soundly through the night without being disturbed. Every now and then, she would switch positions, but aside from that, she slept restfully. The canine hybrid woke just before dawn, as the sun began to light the sky without actually coming up. She came out of her burrow on all fours, circling it a bit, and then shaking the dirt off of her fur like a canine. A cloud of dirt rose around her, coming from the dirt on her fur as she did so. She shifted her position from being quadrupedal to bipedal, scratching at her ear idly with a claw and yawning. The yawn felt wonderful, as it was one that made her back arch and stretch in the process. She was still dirty despite shaking off the dirt, but she didn’t care, she was ready to be on the move again. She sniffed the air, picking up on various things around her, but nothing that could pose a threat to her. Without further thought, she took off running again, hoping to make it to Dee soon. She was beginning to get hungry and thirsty.

She knew as soon as she got there she could depend on at least one resource. It was an elderly blind woman who had a knack for selling fruit in Dee. The woman was kind and seemingly oblivious to her status with the SSNP. Syd was almost thankful that she was this way, as they often would enjoy one another’s presence without getting caught up in the war that was going on. Often times, Syd wondered how she made it being blind, learning that the Nazi’s were usually intolerable to the disabled; however at the moment, the only thing she could think of was the juicy fruits that the woman sold.

The Major tried to get closer to his wipe but she readied her gun. Viola watched him silently, his eyes were wide in fear and confusion, then she watched as his brain worked until he snapped into realization, horror consumed his face as he went pale under his fur. he had hardly anytime to speak before she pulled the trigger, he crumpled dead on the floor in his own blood, just how her mother died. she sighed and turned to the woman, who stared in horror and ...oddly relief. her baby screamed loudly as she handed the child to her "take her...I am no need of her any more....she needs to go on without us" Viola took the girl as the woman suddenly snatched her gun and sent herself to the next world. The baby cried loudly at the noise, Viola took her gun back as she did a death prayer. Viola left the cursed house, babe in arms, she had come to know her as Maya "I will take you to the temple of the Triple Goddess...there you will become a warrior" she vowed to Maya.
"my little one..." an all familiar voice spoke to her, she turned, her old master...Ha'ren in fine temple robes, her amber eyes smiling. "you have beaten me here"
Viola stared down at Maya " you have come to take Maya?" the old woman smiled "yes...she is chosen to be on of us" Viola handed Maya over to the warrior woman "take care of her high priestess... I wish her only the best" with that, Maya and the woman left by a flash of light.

Freya kept her sword at the other child's neck while the creature was materalizing, but lowered it when its full form was achieved. She ran right for Moon, picked her up while skidding across the dirt, then tried getting as far away from the creature as possible. Her breathing was more labored, almost like the monster she was running from. You left one behind!! Moon is the runt we're protecting, if the other is killed, he was doomed to fail from the start. Tier held out his hand in a nazi salute. "Hile Fuhrer." Tier never said the word "my" when he adressed any leader. Not unless they held his contract. Tier had been conditioned as a very loyal individual to whoever held onto his contract. Yes, he was somewhat of a merk, yes, for his services one had to buy his contract, but once bought Tier was fiercly loyal and would carry out an order without hesitation. This new assighnment aggerivated him unto no end as for this little run, he had no idea who had his contract. He had been ordered to follow this woman, do what she asked, and protect her from any threats but he wasn't told who he would be working for on this job.

Tier didn't take a seat rather when the alarm went off the mercenary SS calmly drew his MP40 and found a good fighting position where he could defend her. "Mam, I beleave we may have company."

Katie had once more returned, attempting a faithful apology to the Hier...before the warning alarm went off. She pulled away from the window frightfully, putting a hand to her chest where her heart fluttered.

The Fuhrer himself was now the one apologizing. "I'm sorry, it seems as though you're having some trouble. No time for me to be nudging in, is it? I suppose I'll have to call you back later." She stared wide eyed at his civillian way of talking, wide eyed as the projection flickered and vanished. She turned to Tier and nodded. She pulled her briefcase close and considered drawing her knife.

"Ingrates. One would expect, of course, that an otherwise lovely ride would turn into this. Can't get away from the scum, never can." Her tone was bitter and filled with racial hatred and hatred towards those beneath her. Katie glared at Tier, her gaurds. "Would one of you mind finding out what's going on? I can't risk calling if it's an infliltration issue."

Atreyu felt a bit left behind in time from the rest of the world and it took him a moment to register that the blade at his neck was gone, and so was the frightened Moon. As horrible as the thing was, he turned tail and ran after them faithfully.

In Freya's arms, Moon struggled. "You left him! You left him!" she cried and dug her claws into the woman's stomach as she kicked her hind legs rapidly, like a rabbit attempting to get loose. Moon feared for her friend, but in reality the monster had changed by now. The terrifying creature had fallen, turning from a giant to a river of murk, and had followed the little girl like a shadow, turning the grass dirt and underbrush the two ran past into a sea of inky black. The shapeless creature drew nearer to the child, and hands formed from the mass, stretching, reaching out after her.

After about an hour of running, Syd arrived in Dee. She was greeted like a hero, mainly by those who had given her shelter previously. However, she respectfully declined most offers, looking for Rose, the old lady who sold fruit. The sun had crept up into the sky by now, and Syd knew that this was the time that Rose would sell at the local market. However, when she went to the fruit stand, Rose was nowhere to be found. Syd knew instinctively that there was something wrong, but it was further confirmed by Rose not being at her stand. The stand itself looked as if it were in ill repair, unkempt, wood slats broken, even some spots where rotten fruit had decayed. “It hasn’t been that long since I last came here, has it?” She thought aloud, not really paying attention to who was watching. Often when she worked with the SSNP, she would lose track of time, mainly because she was directed at which way to go at just about every waking moment with the Nazis.

Lana, the force now controlling Freya's body, continued to hold onto Moon as she weakly struggled to break free. "Lets see, get my child and leave the boy, giving both of us a chance to survive... or I could take you both, and tire myself out while the creature hunts us all down within a minute?" She vaulted over a fallen log, only glancing back to see the mass of black goo coming at them. "Now if I took the boy with us, we would already be dead, but at least I have the chance to save us both. Now stop fighting so I can focus on outrunning this thing!"

Muffled screams and explosions shook the warehouse, bringing down more brick-dust like snow from the ceiling around the two figures. Kittrevsky growled into the woman's ear “What are you doing here? You’re going to get us killed!” He pushed down with all his strength, pinning her to the ground.

She just laughed and flashed another bright grin “The same as what you are doing dear, killing that Nazi officer.” Her grin widened and she winked roguishly “Of course, as to getting us killed, you’re doing quite a good job of that yourself...”

Kittrevsky forced his blade to her throat until the cold steel was pressed against silvery grey fur and spoke through gritted “This is my job, my kill you understand?-”

Suddenly the woman kicked out with both feet, throwing Kittrevsky into the nearest pillar with a crunch and cloud of brick-dust. She jumped up to her feet and drew two long swords from behind her back with a rasp of metal.

The blades hummed and crackled as she swung them up to his throat, the grin returning as she said “The kill goes to whoever can get it, there are more than enough Nazis to go around...”

The two of them stood in the ruins of the warehouse, with explosions and the constant crack of bullets outside; the woman paused for a moment and flicked her tail “But then again... Perhaps this time I will honour your claim, Slav to Slav.”

She stepped closer to him, keeping the sword-points to his neck as she walked once around him, as if examining and weighing him up. Finally she dropped the blades down to her side and sighed “You can take the kill, I have other work to do.”

And with that she took two quick steps, jumped, and disappeared down into an open drain cover with a distant splash.

Kittrevsky remained standing for a moment longer, eyes cast down to the rubble-strewn floor. He drew a deep sigh and picked up his rifle. He had a kill to make, and he was losing time...

As the doctor was eyeing the canister, the prisoner was letting loose a flurry of swears that would make the stoutest sailor blush. Thankfully, the containment area he was in muffled his screams so that they didn't hurt the doctor's sensitive ears. The prisoner was a human, average height of around 5'10" and of medium build. His hair was unkempt and his clothes were torn, either from living in poverty or the struggle to capture him. Macid set down the canister of disease in a nearby machine, designed to give detailed information about the composure of whatever was put inside. The machine started up with a loud humming noise as the machine started to analyze the sample. The doctor put on his special earmuffs to protect himself from the machine's workings. His earmuffs wouldn't stop noise from getting through, but would rather dampen them so they were at least bearable. "Dichronoxis Aleksis. Common name, the common cold. Transmittied through the air and through contact with body fluids. Symptoms include coughing, slight fever, and soreness throughout the body. Mortality rate, 5%. No known cure." The doctor walked around the machine as he waited for the final analysis. Zekrinium Molok. Common name, the rotting plague. Transmitted by injection into bloodstream via small insect native to planet. Insect is extinct and no longer able to transmit disease. Symptoms include extreme fatigue and loss of muscle mass. Disease eats the victims cells until nothing but bones are left. Mortality rate, 100% in 1 week. No known cure, except for absorbing cells from others to replace the ones lost." The machine finished and slowly whirred down as the doctor walked over to the printout of the findings. "To fuse them together and create the ultimate disease, that is my goal."

Liliana did not sleep through the night, for her mind was elsewhere. She thought of the strange short feline that she had fought- on what grounds did she stand to attack the man. She had already stopped his blade from taking the life of the individual, so why did she continue to attack. Even with her rash unannounced action, the man still took pity on her. He didn't cut her down, he acted merciful, because a child who he didn't know asked him to. Liliana paced back in forth in a small room that she stayed in when she visited this small town. She took a kneed and placed two fingers to her forehead, this is how her people prayed.
"I must atone for the wrong I committed. I must- beforehand, be punished for my unjust actions. I must find this man, and do whatever he seeks fit until he feels that I have redeemed myself." Satisfied by her choice, she grinned as she stood up, now she must be punished. The sun was rising, under no greater beauty could a quest of redemption begin.

Addonexus yawned slightly as he stretched his body out. Standing up took look at the rising sun, he deiced he would bean his way towards the border, maybe their he would find his calling. Unfortunately for the short feline, his tail remained asleep, dead sleep. Addonexus dragged his tail along the rough hard sand as he walked, it was cool right now, but he knew it would soon disappear. The morning was probably the quietest time; very few things were awake as of now, a perfect time to rebel in thought. Lost in thought the cat wasn't totally aware of where he was walking, slowly creeping towards the hunting ground of a desert spider. Most people tend to avoid the area for the spiders hostility, so the feline wouldn't notice the absent animals. In less than a second the spider attacked the unsuspecting feline, injecting its toxic venom through its fangs that ripped through the cast arm. Almost instinctively the cat blasted away the spider, grabbing his throbbing arm. The spider quickly recoiled, lunging in for another attack.

Liliana jumped in front of the giant spider, grabbing hold of one of its fangs pulling it down. The large creature slammed down with a loud thud, letting out a cry. Before the spider could retaliate, Liliana punched the poor creature, destroying it.

Addonexus stood in a daze, in pain and confused. As Liliana turned around to face him, his eyes snapped a deathly glare, warning her to come no closer.
"Wait please I... I came her to apologize", the cats eyes let up but he made clear eh had nothing to say, "Very well... I am sorry for attacking you for no reason. I am sorry, I can not say any reason that will suffice a proper explanation for my actions. I thank you for saving that child- and sparring my life."
"Are you waiting for me to accept the apology?" He said in his shallow, small voice, not matching to his appearance. He wasn't sure what he was suppose to do, for social custom was one of the things he had forgotten. Unfortunately for Liliana, she didn't know that he had lost his memory, so it came off as sarcastic.
"No.. I just want to accompany you, so that I may benefit you in any was possible, until you feel that you I have earned back my redemption." Addonexus looked at the female rabbit, unsure of what to say.

Entaru laid solemnly on his bed in the train.  Taking a needle and inserting it into his arm, he extracted a small amount of gray fluid.  Not much...maybe it was just the new poison that made the difference.  Letting the needle clatter to the floor, he lets his mind go blank.  German opera rang softly through the intercomm speakers as he closed his eyes in attempt to sleep.

Viola had no more business here, this part of the city where only the rich folk luxuriated in their money with fancy, empty things. dark clouds loomed over the sky as heavy, almost flood like down pours of water, she had hiked up the mountain, and was at the top, seeing nothing but forest. her bright emerald eyes scanned the tree tops, soft thunder rolled along with a small flash of lightning. her body began to hum in response... there was going to be a great electrical storm tonight, closing her eyes. she waited... a huge thunder clap sounded through the sky, Viola smiled as she walked on, her power absorbing everything it can get from its natural power. with a bright lightning flash she saw a building amongst the forest, she nodded to herself, her destination...a SSNP lab.

It took a couple hours to reach there, but it was not abandoned. it was actually very busy, thunder rolled above. she had to find a way to sneak in, destroy every single machine and leave unnoticed.

When the gas cleared out of the chamber it revealed Nier unconscious on the floor. Almost a minute later two orderly entered the room and turned him onto his back to ensure he was unconscious, he was. Outside of the chamber Jerry sighed silently not amused at what had happened. He just watched without flinching the entire time, the situation becoming all too predictable. The orderly stripped his down to his boxers and took out a total of seven more knives not including the one that was wedged in between the door. After collecting the knives they put his jacket and pants back on, being sure to fasten the jacket. After wards they passed to the other side of the chamber and carried Nier to his cell for the night.

Meanwhile on the light rail….

Dante had just sat down when the alarm went off. “Dang it…Well that can’t be good…Are they on to me?” he thought standing back up. He hoisted his bag onto his shoulder and grabbed Cyrus to put him in his pocket. “Welp…Might as well check it out.” he said to himself. He then exited his room, bumping into the invisible lizard standing watch over him causing them both to fall over in the hallway. “What the-…” just then two soldiers from the car behind them came into their car. One of them saw Dante’s weapon that was revealed due to his cloak being pushed back enough. They pointed their guns at him and ordered him to his feet. He did as ordered and put his hands in the air as the two approached him. Dante took a big whiff of the air and exhaled saying. “Such sin…”

The soldiers got to him and one reached to grab his weapons. “Oh maker grant me power to cast out these sinners and deliver them to a place by your side…” he said aloud. His fingertips began to glow brightly on his left hand. Just before the soldier grabbed his guns Dante brought down his hand and plunged it to the man’s chest. His fingers tore small holes into his shirt and the man hunched forward coughing up a deal of saliva onto the floor. Dante let him drop and dashed for the second soldier pointing the gun at him. A burst of bullets escaped the weapon though only finding the walls of the car. Dante had batted the weapon away and twisted his arm behind his back. He then snapped the man’s neck and let him fall onto the floor. After wards Dante took out his cross necklace and gave it a small kiss. “Be at peace.” he muttered before putting it back under his shirt.

Tier looked to the door and began thinking. He turned to the other guards and ordered them to begin barricading the door. "Tables, chaires, whatever we got. I want fireing positions and a nose out that rear hatch to cover our exit. Someone give me a grenade." He walked over to a soldier as he spoke and stole a grenade form his bandoleer and opened the door. On the door of the car right in front of them he rigged a crude boobytrap by unscrewing the priming cap and hanging it from the door handle. The explosive would more than likely destroy the ascetics of the rail cars but structurally they should not be compromised... he hoped. The small window on the door afforded no ability for any normal person to be able to reach the explosive so he felt semi confident though it was a VERY risky maneuver. He shut the door and locked it though it would do little good against the explosive but it was a "just in case" measure. Tier looked to the guards fumbling about and snarled. "There is an assailant aboard the rail and you all are moving slower than a dead slug. You...." Tier began barking orders and helping with the defences and had three of the guards cover their exit if they would have to make one. The defences wee shabby at best. A few flipped over tables to act as initial shields from the blast, some chaires for support. They had manged to tear some of the paneling from the wall all the time the guards looking to Tier like he had lost his ever-loving-mind when he said, "Screw it, they can bill me!" With everything in place as best as he could manage Tier had things set up for a decent firefight. He had no idea on the number of assailants that had boarded the train but it mattered not. If the soldiers along the way could not stop them Tier would have to at least try to buy Katie some time to escape. "Mam," He said. "You may want to prepair to defend yourself and prepair an escape route. If we cannot break them here I will but you some time to get off of the train with the three at the door. Hopefully though it will not have to come to that."

Charles was scrambling from rail car to rail car, as bullets exploded from the 'ground' underneath him and two of the more agile Nazis actually pursued him step for step. He just leaped the gap of one of the cars when one of them, wielding a sidearm tackled him to the car. For awhile the pair of them were wrestling, the Nazi trying to force his pistol into Charles's face, and Charles trying to throw the man off the train, or at least off of him.
The trigger was squeezed as the gun was forced to the side, bursting through the 'roof' of Katie's car as rounds burst through and impacted the makeshit barricade. The nazi then ate fist, as he got slammed in the face and was thrown off, and Charles didn't have enough time to prepare himself for the next assailant as he stood up. He was kicked by this Nazi off the car, and only through sheer luck did he manage to catch onto the side of the train. He looked in at Katie and the soldiers within the car and weighed his options.

"Agile Nazis up top, set up and well armed Nazis within.... UP AND OVER!"  He yelled through gritted teeth as he hauled himself upwards, taking shots at the nazis uptop to which they scrambled away. Tier, Katie, and the other guards could probably hear the shooting and would most likely respond.
But that was all the opening he needed to climb back up. As the pair ran at him, his kukri was already out of it's sheath, and Charles was already moving. Using his opponent's momentum he slashed him across the stomach with his blade, leaving the man incapacitated with pain as he bled heavily.
The other man responded by drawing his own blade and cut Charles along the arm.
Gritting through the pain he dodged another slash then kicked the man, sending him off balance, and when the man stood back up, he had a pistol to his temple.
A resounding bang, and the man fell through the skylight into Katie's car. Emptying the clips of both his pistols, he let them drop from the train as he slapped in two magazines.

Satisfied that he would be safe for the meanwhile, Charles shot the other man in the temple and moved on.
Around two cars later, he misjudged his jump, and fell through the skylight into the car. Reacting quickly, he pulled up a pistol, but was surprised to see two dead nazi troops and Dante.
Standing up he sighed in relief.
"I can tell your not a fan of the Reich, and i could really use some help"

all six lizards heard the alarm and reacted, the five in the booth ducked doww each reaching for their tribal scared forearm. ready to react

the lizard in the hall jumped to his feet, his hand about to make contact with his scared arm when the stranger walked into him. the lizard was knocked down and ended up behind the stranger. he watched the short lived fight before coming out of camo. "ven shi ta ne! ven shi ta ne!" (get on the floor! get on the floor!) he pointed his scared arm at the stranger. his other hand resting on his forearm ready to use one of his spells.

the other five waited till the stranger turned around to see who was yelling at them before exiting the booth. they took up their places, each with a bow of their own scale colour drawn. three of them stood aiming at the stranger, energy arrows the same colour as thier bow and scales ready to kill if needed. the youngster knelt down, his weaker bow ready if needed and the larger black lizard stood infront of them all, his black tribal longbow in his scared hand by his side as he cleared his throat "he said get on the floor. i recomend you do so."

Viola managed to sneak in and find one of the main electrical outlets, there was a warning sign, that if turned off of destroyed, self destruction will happen, she waited on that one. she put her hand on another, she closed her eyes and began to drain electricity, creating almost a swords, this spell will most likely hurt her severely, but she knew she would be okay. she walked away as lights went out and everything went dark, except for the crackling and humming lightning in her hand, her began to sweat as the small bolts swirled around her arm, as she walked in the dark, she heard soldiers coming. when they arrived they saw her and the lightning bold.
"fire men!" but a flash of light and the pungent smell of ozone and burnt things later, she walked away unscathed, the bolt gone and her hand burned liked crazy.

Katie threw herself under the table at the sound of the bullets raining down. The alarm was now a hollow constant in the background, much quieter now that she had the will to think of other things besides it and listen for other sounds. She looked to Tier and only scoffed. She knew her escape route already...death. But not her death, the death of the troublemakers causing all this racket. Briefly she patted her chest and stomach as though concerned that she was no longer wearing her bullet proof vest...but thank goodness it was still there. She cast a weak shield spell over herself to prevent shots that could target other areas such as her head and legs, but the spell would only do her good for just so long.

She looked to her guards. There were more of them in the car now that the alarm had gone off, responding to the call of 'protecting' her. Something told her that there were more soldiers lying elsewhere in the train...dead. Clearly none of them were strong enough to deal with the interlopers. She was going to have to help, if not outright take matters into her own hands. She snapped her fingers abruptly at one of the more incapable looking guards. "Your gun. Give it to me," Katie ordered.

"Ma'am, this is an issued gun than cannot be exchanged with nonmilitary members. Besides, a woman such as yourself is in no position to---" he began in a heavy accent accustomed to mostly trainees. But she cut him off-

Katie glared and reached out her hands, palms up, steady, very steady. "Give me the ******* rifle or I will get you fired, young sir. Do your Fuhrer proud."

He hesitated for a second, looking back and forth between her and the rifle strap on his shoulder, before finally giving into the cold glare only a woman could produce and un-slinging the rifle, dropping it into her awaiting palms.

"Thank you, kind sir. You won't regret this decision to see a woman take the initiative." Katie, sensing that the immediate danger was no longer immediately in her particular car, stood up, slung the rifle on her back and made her way to the turned up tables. She chuckled at the men, standing around with doe-eyes, clearly never having seen something like this before, in total shock that the female president was doing this...like she had gone mad! "What's the matter? No-one's going to come with me and back me up?" she said, slipping off her high heels and tossing them. "Did you not remember that military and magical training is a requirement for my field of office? Sure, it may have been difficult being the only female in a class of one hundred but I obviously managed." She spoke slowly and drawn out, as though speaking to children. "Now. If you don't mind, I think I'm going to go hunt down these interloping fools and kill them myself instead of waiting in here, trapped....savages closing in on either side....." She smiled. "With or without anyone's help...believe in me that I will do the things I set out to do."

She stepped over the upturned tables and made her way to the train car door, a stealth spell ready at her fingertips for the moment she threw that door open.

****

Moon was not in the least bit comforted or persuaded by the words of a Nazi or anyone helping them, the image and stereotype and very personification of which had been the cause of an entire life of suffering. She kicked harder into Lana, this time with claws that pierced the woman's armour, every ounce of hatred she had, whether or not justified, was put into this act. Yet it seemed to do no good. Tears welled in her eyes as the child began to cry---

The sort of cry which was all the monster needed to take action, it no longer acted. It no longer pretended. It did what it set out to do.

Without any trouble it caught up to them, surrounding them in a half circle. The thing leaped up and with inky, slimy black arms as thick as the trunks of the great pine trees around them it slammed into Lana and the child, a great smack that threw them back and into a boulder. The duo slid down, perhaps injured, but it was not done with Lana yet. It came at them and thinner but equally strong wrapped around the woman's legs and arms tightly, neatly slipping in between every crack to get a good hold.

Moon was frightened, but she finally seemed to understand what was going on. And that understanding could be to her advantage. She looked to Lana, trying to appear calm though that illusion was ruined by her sobbing and trembling. "You have to let me go, Lana. You have to let me go or..." she thought about it for a moment. One could have sworn they saw her smile for a split second. "Or I'll kill you."

“I guess you were right, sir.” said the man behind the window as Jerry turned to walk away. “He is really all too predictable.” Jerry said flatly, scoffing silently shaking his head. When True had entered the chamber Jerry had informed the men behind the window that True was armed. He had caught True sneaking the knives, only playing dumb. Without anything else Jerry walked down the halls silently.

Meanwhile on the light rail…

Dante whirled around drawing both his triguns pointing them at Charles who suddenly fell through the skylight. When he spoke he lowered his guns slightly. However, shouting from behind him made him turn around, pointing one gun at the lizard who just became visible and one still at Charles. Noticing it was a kid, though still pointing a rather dangerous looking arm at him, he turned his head back to look at Charles. More lizards had appeared, pointing their respective energy bows at him, between him and Charles. When the larger one stepped forward to translate and spoke he sighed on the inside. “Rebels? Here?” Dante spoke somewhat surprised. He was oblivious to who was actually on the train, only two cars away. “Sinners for a cause…” he sighed. “I see we’re at an in pass. Let me…Enlighten you. Should I defend myself, I could potentially harm you all. Thus making your real mission here that much harder due to injuries and or energy expenditures.” he explained calmly looking forward with his head down slightly and his eyes closed.

Lifting his head he opened his eyes and looked at the larger lizard who spoke to him. “Should you decide to just kill me now, that man…” he said, motioning behind them with his head at Charles. “…May very well kill you for interfering with his mission. In which he was going to ally himself with me, thus hindering his progress.” he continued calmly, guns still held out to both sides, one pointing at the larger lizard to his right and the other pointing at the smaller one to his left. “Not to mention the Nazis, only two cars thata way…” he said motioning his head to his left. “…Who are likely approaching to investigate the shooting that happened only moments ago in this very car.” he continued on with his explanation. He slowly lowered his guns, twirling them and sliding them into their holsters. His cloak slid over his left hand, his back-up plan readied for a moments notice. Looking back down to the ground he spoke again, a more serious tone this time. “So…What’s it gonna be, stranger?” Dante asked, awaiting for that split second decision that needed to be made.

"Christ!" Tier shouted as he darted forward and stopped behind Kate. "Mam, please step aside. I've rigged the door to the next car to explode." He slipped in front of her and screamed aloud in his head at her inpaitence but said nothing. He was contracted to some offical on this train and until he knew exactially who he didn't want to step on the wrong toes. The explosive was disarmed and he held the still serviceable grenade at the ready to throw at thier atackers in lieu of stopping to ask questions first. Kate was ready and from what he could see the crap was about to hit the fan at any moment. "Get in there and bunker down you dogs! I want a field of fire on that doorway!" Tier prepaired to throw the grenade at the door as soon as he saw anything but nazi uniforms pile through, or rather as soon as he saw the door open.[removed] it. If they are running from a fight and they got in the way he would chawk them up as diserters and write it off as a nessessary kill. His mission was to protest the Offical, Kate and he intended to uphold that mission.

Entaru awoke as his train halted.  They had reached their destination without incident.  However, as the sirens outside the train indicated, that was about to change.  "What the hell?!  I haven't even left the train and the facility is already having trouble!" Rushing out of the train, he could see military personel suited up in strange armor charging into the forest.  Seeing one lagging behind, Entaru grabbed him and began his questioning.  In his haste, he didn't realize that he was currently holding the much shorter soldier at eye level and that his feet were dangling almost a half a foot off the ground.  "Report soldier!  What in the nine hells is going on around here?!"
The soldier almost threw a punch across Entaru's nose before he realized exactly who it was holding him above the ground.  The swing turned into a frightened salute as the soldier explained. "The bioweapons heir major, they've escaped containment!"  Entaru sneered and dropped the soldier to the ground.  "Dammit!  I just got this job and already things have gone to shit.  Get moving soldier!  Find and retrieve them!"  The soldier scampered off to regroup with the rest of the retrieval squad as Entaru marched after them.
It wasn't long before he and the squad were sprinting through the forest.  One of the squad members was holding what Entaru could only discern as a tracking device as its shrill beeping only seemed to get faster with each step.

They were getting close...

the lead lizard smirked, his smokey black bow dematerialised as he looked at the two beings. "we are no rebels, we are but 'simple' tribesmen. so called savages." most of the others smirked looking at each other. "now if you don't mind, we shall take our leave. wouldn't want to miss our stop." "dentine so um!" yelled the rainbow scaled lizard, an invisible web forming, one of the thin wires touched Dante's arm. it instantly wrapped around him and demobilised his entire body. the lizard stood up and quickly hurried over to the others who had already started leaving the carriage the way they had come in. "don't worry, it'll wear off in about forty seconds." the lead said before vanishing through the roof leaving only the rainbow lizard inside, he blew Dante a kiss mockingly before turning invisible and leaving the two to their business.

The lizards had jumped ship, and decided it would be funny to tie up the only person who seemed willing to help Charles, and because they were idiots, made it magic so he couldn't cut it himself. He tried to at least help Dante with the bonds, but felt a surge of intense pain run along his arm. Letting out a grunt, he looked and saw a piece of glass sticking from his forearm.
"Well it wasn't my finest hour, this is going to hurt. A Lot" he said to himself as he tightened his grip around the glass. Pulling, he let forth a groan of agony, as the pressure in his arm intensified and then faded a bit.

Panting, he dropped the bloody piece of glass to the ground. Walking over to a Nazi, he ripped a bit of his overcoat off, and began the process of tightening the cloth around his arm.
"Here's hoping he washes his clothing!" he muttered sarcastically before he realized he was not alone.
"The name's Charles Delacroix. Pleased to meet ya, but I don't think we got time for formalities." he said to Dante, as the magical bonds began to fade away.
He offered his not stabbed by glass hand to the fallen man.

Lana tried to break out of the creature's hold with her legs, but she had not been in the body long enough for it to achieve that level of strength she desired. Instead, she held on tighter to Moon and glared her right in the eyes. "Moon, I have one order and one order only: to keep you out of harm until you are 'complete'. However, since Freya neglected to ask the specifics on what is 'harm', I'll cut a deal with you. I will take you back to your friend and lead you both out of the Nazi territory, under the condition that once we leave the territory, I will stay by your side so that I may keep following my order." Lana, why are you doing this?! Freya 'shouted', almost deafening Lana to whatever sound was going on outside their head. Right now, we either get crippled and fail, die and fail, or change our paradigm on the words 'Protect Moon' so that we neither die nor fail. You may be faithful to the Reich, but I'm not going to give my life away for just following orders.
