Tweak and I are finally able to announce something we've been working on for the past several weeks. ^^

Same kind of stuff that goes on elsewhere really, just with more relaxed rules.
The Adult Area also features a Debate board, which several people have asked about before.

All of the usual forum rules (http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?action=rules) apply to the Adult Area, EXCEPT:

- Do not sell yourself or ask for cyber on the forums.
This includes specifically declaring you’re “available” and/or saying you’re here looking for a boyfriend/girlfriend/mate. This is not a dating site. We realize you may meet someone you want to date here, but please take care of these matters in private conversation. Also, no matter how much you may love your boyfriend/girlfriend/mate/etc., please try to keep the public displays of affection to a minimum.
While selling yourself is still not allowed, there is more of an allowance for flirting and showing affection to others inside the Adult Area. Publicly asking for a mate is allowed.
- Any material of a sexually explicit nature is not allowed.
Any image or depiction of explicit nudity is not allowed. Very suggestive content is not allowed. Anthropomorphic characters ARE allowed to be unclothed as long as they are covered by fur/scales/feathers/etc. Any clothing should cover about the same amount of area on the body as a bikini/swimsuit would. In addition to images, discussions on the public forum about having sex, turn-ons, etc. are not appropriate and will be removed.
Sexual content and discussions are allowed, as long as they are legal and tagged and/or described with the appropriate warnings. Child or "cub" pornography is not acceptable. Any nude characters should be the age of 18 or older. Nude "real life" photos of yourself or any other actual person is not allowed. - Any material found to be inappropriate for minors or offensive is not acceptable.
This includes anything inappropriate or offensive that may not be covered under the previous rule above. This may include, but is not limited to, depictions or discussions of obscene violence or hate toward anyone. Some depictions of blood may be okay - cuts, scrapes, drips, splashes, etc., but very detailed, realistic, or extreme depictions may be disallowed. Discussions or images of drug and/or alcohol abuse especially by minors is not appropriate nor tolerated.
Obscene "real life" violence or hate toward other people is still not allowed. Drugs may be discussed when it comes to matters of debate, but statements claiming you partake in illegal drugs and/or photos of you/your friends doing so are not allowed, and will be removed. Any legal drug or alcohol use discussed are allowed within legal limits. Violence in RPs is allowed as long as it is tagged (http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?topic=15789.0) with the appropriate warning.
- No extreme uses of profanity - including partially censored.
Any use or variety of the "F" word is not to be used.
Even with swear words that are allowed, please try to keep it to a minimum. Excessive use of foul language may be removed.
Please do not use profanity to curse at or insult your fellow forum members.
The "F" word as well as other profanity is allowed, as long as it is not used as an offense to other people. We still encourage you to keep it to a minimum, however.
Additional rules that only apply to the Adult Area:
- Nothing from the Adult Area may be quoted or re-posted outside of the Adult Area if it is not appropriate according to the usual forum rules.
- All forum members that have access to the Adult Area must be 18+ years old. Any members found to be younger than 18 will immediately be denied access to the Adult Area.
- All threads with adult content must be tagged with appropriate warnings. Failure to do so may result in denied access to the Adult Area. Refer to this thread (http://www.thefurryforum.com/forums/index.php?topic=15789.0) for more information on properly tagging threads.
- Although linking to adult furry art is okay, please do not link to non-furry pornography websites.
They are, to some extent, still up for some consideration.

You can always collapse the section using the arrow button at the top of the board if you decide you don't want to see it anymore, or if you change your mind, you can ask to have access removed.

It isn't just about R-rated content or anything either. We've had many forum members express interest in a place where adults can just chat and get to know each other, and that's just fine too.

The purpose of this thread is not asking whether or not people want the Adult Area.
If you don't want to be a part of it, don't join. It's that simple.

this is actually kinda good for me, cuz now I can post the rest of my art and commissions. quite a bit of my commissions are adult, so my better artwork can at least be seen now.

Again, the only think I have that could prove I'm 18 or older is a picture of me holding a cake saying "Class of 2009" but I'm not willing to show people what I look(ed) like, nor do I think it will be enough proof.

You could show proof of establishment with signing an agreement to serve under the miltary if drafted? You legally have to 18+ unless you're disabled.

Yeah, SL verification would not work for me because I lied about my age on SL two weeks before my birthday T.T...yesh yesh was impatient to wait. But I suppose I could locate and scan in something legal of mine. If I could just rip away my permit from my parents and scan it...
