some one told me that the furry fandom is about spending 1000 $ , on fur suits and  going to fur cons around the world and those are who " really" belong to the fandom. is that true ?

No. You belong to the fandom if you like anything about it and if you want to associate yourself with it. You don't belong to it if you don't wish to associate yourself with it.

considering that hes speaking against like... lets jus say lots of furs, its totally not true.  thats like saying millions of furs are not real furs  o.O

nao furmeets are fun but  thats totally a different topic I think

ok then what the differnce between a furry and a furry fan ? one of the furs i meet there said his bother is a furry fan not a furry

I would say that a furry fan is someone who likes furrys but doesnt consider themselves one.
