So I'm sure most of us have heard, or seen, the Mortal Kombat: Rebirth live action short that was posted on YouTube a while back. Well, something has come of it! Directed by the same person, Kevin Tancharoen, Mortal Kombat: Legacy is a live action webseries giving us an in depth look at the backstories of many of the characters. Those that have been confirmed so far: Jax, Sonya, Stryker, Kano, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Raiden, Cyrax, Sektor, Kitana, Mileena, Baraka, and Johnny Cage. Based on some behind the scenes clips and other footage I've seen, I also suspect Smoke, Quan Chi, and Shang Tsung are in it. Also, MK: Legacy will be including the supernatural elements that were missing in Rebirth, due to Rebirth's time and budget constraints.
