Okay well I'm pretty sure this is the right thread to be asking this.
Yesterday I dropped my Kindle on the floor and left it there in sleep mode and a few minutes later I got up and forgot it was there so i stepped on it.
Now the screen is frozen on my screensaver with the e-ink and I'm wondering is there a way to fix this? Does anybody know?
-
have you tried force booting it? holding down the power button till it shuts down?
-
Yeah I've done that and I've charged it completely, which are the two thing people say to do, but neither work.
-
if you dont mind me asking, why the heck did you leave it on the floor? let alone close enough for you to step on it?

that site might help

Well it kinda fell out of my hands and I was too tired to pick it up. Later I just forgot it was there.
Thanks for the link but none of it worked I think I may have broke some of the electronics inside of it.
-
did you click the link in there for the amazon support thingymajiggy?
-
Yeah I'm going to do that tomorrow morning though. Too tired now.
-
Alrighty.
Lesson learned, do not leave valuable electronics on the floor if you drop them

X3 I'll try to remember that!
